TV celebrities talk their memories of friendship and their favorite Bollywood film - Part 3
Friendship day was originally founded by Hallmark in 1919. It intends to be a day for people to celebrate their friendship. Television industry is not untouched by this strong emotion called friendship. With Just Showbiz they speak about their memorable friendship day and their favourite film on friendship.
Samiksha Bhatnagar : Friendship is one of the most treasured bonds of life. During the school days, I used to share friendship band or higher-end bracelets. I always found it very thoughtful way to let my pal know that I care. Just spending some quality time with your pal is a wonderful way to celebrate Friendship Day. In today's world, we are all so busy that friendships sometimes take a back seat. Its easy to bring friendship back to the forefront by taking a few hours out of the day to spend with my buddy. I personally think the best way to celebrate Friendship Day is to keep the spirit of the day throughout the year. The key here is to nurture the friendship continually, resolve conflicts quickly, and make sure to devote the time needed to make a friendship successful even when busy. Last season we went for a skydiving activity that allowed us to not only catch up with each other but we also had loads of fun and adventure. This time we are planning to visit a hill station and will probably setup a nice barbeque and bonfire. I really cherish some of our Bollywood Friendship Flicks, RDB [Rang De Basanti] tops my list, it celebrate the true spirit of friendship in a patriotic way. However I relate very closely with ZNMD [Zindagi na Milegi Dobara], couple of friends on an adventurous trip to beat that boring schedule and knock off one of thoseYOLOs [You live only once] from your things to do list.
Tina Dutta : I will mostly go out for a dinner or film on friendship day as I am shooting for a daily soap. I have friendship day whenever I get time off from my shoot. Friends are important in life. Life without friends is like food without salt.
