PART 23

The car was zooming at a high speed. When all were panic, one hand came towards Geet and pulled her off from the road and both fell on the platform nearby. The warmth of the saviour made her realise it was none other than Maan himself came to save her from a horrible accident.

But at the same time it took Geet sometime to realise that they are in the open space and in the middle of the day... Geet panic with the painful sigh of Maan.

Maan: Why the hell did I ... that's why I told you not to appear before me.

Geet: Director...

Maan: When you are involved all I get is just... Pain...

Geet: Director?

Soon Geet covered Maan with her own body to protect him from sunlight. The sunlight kills him... NO...

All rushed towards them to save Maan and Geet.

Geet: Adi sir...

Adi: Geet quick, help me with him...

They both made Maan to sit safely in his car...

Geet: Director.. are you alright?

Adi: Director..

Geet: He needs blood. Adi sir... I have to.

When Geet was about to board the car Maan stopped her from entering. GO BACK. You're not my secretary anymore.

Adi tried to convince Maan but he wasnt ready to listen to anyone. So as a boss Maan ordered adi to start the car.

I cant give him my blood anymore... when Geet was watching the moving car, Rishab came near Geet without knowing why she is sad.

Rishab: Geet...

Geet: I cant help him anymore, even now... I cant do anything for him anymore... Geet wasnt able to control her tears anymore or act as a professional in front of Rishab. She broke down in front of him.

Nite

Rishab dropped Geet in her place.

Rishab: Thank you for working overtime with me until such a late hour. Are you allright?

Geet: yes... I'm sorry for causing you problems...

R: Then, I'll see you tomorrow!

Once Rishabh leaves from there, Adi approached Geet.

Adi: Geet.

Geet was surprised to see Adi there. Why are you here? How is the Director?

Adi: it was already past noon, so the sunlight wasnt strong and he wasnt hurt too much. But his recovery is slow and he's terribly weak.

Geet: Didnt he have enough blood?

Adi: Its more like... his physical strength is failing. Ever since you left your post, Maan sir hasn't fed properly. He has been asking more women to his office than ever. But he always ends up letting them go home without drinking their blood. I've overhead him say that if it's not your blood it cant satisfy his hunger. But I think that's it's more than that - he's suffering without it. Maan sir needs you blood. So wont you please come with me to his home?

Geet was shocked to listen all this from Adi. The director needs my blood. He needs my blood only... is this true?oh my, I'm getting happy because of something so little... but I'm afradid. If I go now I wont be able to let fo of him anymore. If... if he dumps me again...

Adi: And this is for you Geet.

It was none other than New glasses for Geet. Oh I forgot to tell you this.. her glasses were broken when Maan saved Geet from the high speed car. Bad he wasnt able to save her glasses.

Adi: Maan sir ordered them at the same store where you bought you last pair.

Geet recollect the incident when he accompanied her to buy the new glasses.

Maan: So this is your idea of how a secretary is supposed to look?

Geet: The Director understands my feelings better than anyone else... and he wants to protect the things I value... so it was too late, after all, distancing myself from his is impossible now. Because my heart has been with him all along.. Please take me there... TAKE ME TO HIM...
