Chapter Summery:
Madhubala Malik and Rishab Kundra are set to act in a biopic of Madhubala, the famous actress as a contribution to the 100 years of cinema. A mischievous girl, who makes it her mission to annoy a slightly grumpy and cynical hero. What shall become of her when she begins to push his buttons a little too hard.

Chapter 1
Madhu fiddled with her dupata as Mr shukla, walked in with RK trailing in behind in him. He had acted in the Bollywood version of twilight, this was his first role after those movies. Madhu had a few hits in between in her movie Geet, and Dil Mil gaye, this wouldbe her third movie compared to him, who was now acting in his 6th movie all back to back hits. Madhubala ek ishq ek junoon, was set to be on of the bigest movies for the year. She had been cast in the biopic, it was kind of a joke that the makers would cast actors with the names of the legendary stares of the yester years Madhubala and RK as in Raj Kapoor.
Everybody, had been anticipating the moment they would meet each other, she felt a tug on her dupata, she had brought her neice Trishna with her on set.
"Madhubala will play Madhubala" Were the first words she heard from him.
He had that tell tale deep voice she had heard about him. Having recently got married to a girl his parents had hand picked for him. It was hard to find pictures of him after the wedding without her nearby. Madhu greeted Mr. Shukla and looked up into his dark eyes. He was just as handsome as she had seen in his pictures on wikipedia. She blushed lightly remembering how Ria had teased her because she had fell asleep while looking at his pictures, she had in her sleep rested her cheek against it. Abhay fan she was not she thought to herself.
"This is RK, Madhubala" Mr shukla introduced Madhu nodded while Trishna who hid behind her leg, stared up at him with big eyes. And sure enough his wife was nearby, siting on a bench wearing an expensive short dress, her make up was heavily done.
"She is a heroine?" He asked starring at her incredulously, Madhu tried not to sound annoyed but it came out of her mouth before she could help it.
"You a hero, your nothing but a pretty face" She said, so fast Mr Shukla's eyes widened shocked the usually cordial Madhubala Malik had just insulted his hero.
"Madhubala, RKji please shant ho jayee" he said unsure of what to say, really.
"Wish I could say the same about you, just a plain faced girl with little to know capability" He said, this almost would disgust. Madhu felt confused how could he hate her he did not even know her.
She walked away, in anger, she had already signed on for this film, she could not leave, it would cause too much speculation in her career.
"RK, has a standard, Miss Malik, the kind of standard some middle class unwed mother would not be able to meet" Madhu's eyes widened he thought Trishna was her child. She looked down into the dark brown eyes of the child who stared up at her confused.
"And this film is not been made by you, if you want me to leave go speak to the production, manager" She said, holding Trishna's hand and pulling her away, at just 5 Trishna had lost her parents, Madhu had been the only member inthe Malik family who had been willing to take in the child. She had promised Trishna that day she would treat her as her own daughter, She did not have any money then, feeding both of them had been hard, but a friend had suggested that she try out for some modeling adverts that was when she got her first role in Dil mil gayee.
She had made sure no questions were asked and Trishna was legally her daughter before the first movie. Rumors had flown everywhere that she had a child, despite her innocent face, He had probably heard of them and thought them true.
Trishna had stopped talking after the death of her parents, despite it being almost 2 years since their death she had never spoke. Madhu often wondered when she would.
A hand grabbed her arm roughly pulling her into a secluded corner.
It was him, Trishna had seen a cupcake stand and had busied herself luckily.
"Superstar RK, pulling a girl, who isn't your wife's hand like this is not justified" She muttered angrily. He looked at her poisonously.
"I will make your life hell, if you don't leave this movie" Madhu pulled her hand away and moved out of the corner.
"I challenge you RK, I will complete the entire movie with you in it" She said walking away past his frazzled wife who met Trishna near the cupcakes.
"I was just handing her a cupcake" She said, Madhu could not detect any hostility from her.
"Thank you, I am Madhubala" She introduced, holding her hand out the woman shook her hand with a thousand bolt smile, Madhu could feel her husband watching her from his prestigious chair, he had a special tailor velvet cushioned one brought in. She rolled her eyes at the expenses, he made they were rather unnecessary, and mostly vain. He had 10 to 20 personal spots hired.
"I am Deepali" She said bending down, she did not seem to mind her sari becoming dirty and asked Trishna what her name was.
"Trishna, She doesn't speak, tell Deepali aunty thank you" Trishna nodded and signed Thank you to her. Madhu smiled and picked her up. She had messed her mouth with some butter icing. She kissed her and bit her cheek.
"I am going to eat you" She threatened making Trishna laugh, Madhu was handed a script, tomorrow the first scene was a fire scene in which he would save her. Madhu sat down and read the lines robotically while Trishna, who had made friends with Deepali easily sat near her. While she worked, Deepali being as sweet as a chocolate stick offered to look after her.
RK: I Love you Madhu...
Madhu began to laugh as everyone looked up at her in surprise, she couldn't stop, she noticed that RK's jaw ticked more than anything seeing her laugh.
His eyes flamed darker with annoyance.
"He says I love you like he is ordering me around" She began to laugh even harder, as tears ran down her the corners of her eyes, Mr Shukla shook his head, everybody had heard of her laughing fits. She would and could not stop laughing once she started.
She held her stomach and wiped her eyes, Trishna shook her head at her and smiled affectionately, RK on the other hand stared at her annoyed.
"Where did you find this mad women?" He asked incredulous he had to work with someone so unprofessional. Madhu wiped her eyes and stood up and began to laugh more.
"He is so serious Mr Shukla maine life mein kisi ko itna zyaada akroo nahi mila" And she continued to laugh more.
I love you Madhu' the thought of him even being inlove made her laugh even more. He walked away in a huff. Deepali handed her a glass of water to calm her down.
"You were trying to annoy him?" Deepali asked a little bit shocked, Madhu stopped laughing and smile at her.
"I am sorry Deepaliji, voh ehsi deserve karthi kitna zyaada rude hai mere saath"Madhu said pulling her dupata straight. Deepali looked at her worried.
"Madhu, agar tu use angry banaye voh tumse zaroor badla loongi" She warned, went to Trishna and picked her up.
Madhu rolled her eyes. What's the worst he could do?

Soon Trishna's holidays were over and school had began, Deepali often would be near him onset, Madhu used every opportunity to push his buttons, especially when they did a romantic scene he seemed so uncomfortable, she would often make sure she forgot her dialogues and complain that he wasn't passionate enough in the scene towards her. He walked around like an angry panther often so angry that shooting would be cancelled. Deepali, would often advise her not to annoy him. But Madhu found herself unable to stop as they began shooting a consumption scene.
It was to be in a barn, after their car had broken down on the road. He had started a fire and told her to remove her clothes, she had wore a short dress inside but left the tops of her arms bare and made it look as though she were naked. Her hair was sprayed wet and she sat before him and he was dressed in a plain jeans and vest for the scene.
She found him unable to look at her, which she made sure she pointed out to Mr. Shukla. Who made them redo the entrance again and agin till he looked at her. Madhu laughed internally as she found a slight bit of annoyance in his eyes. He leaned in was suppose to kiss her neck, but she continuously pointed out that he barely touched her.
RK stood up mid-scene.
"Pack up!!" He shouted, Madhu woke up, looking innocently away and walked towards her make up room. A hand covered her mouth and pushed her into the room.
"Not passionate enough?" It was him, the blanket slipped from her shoulders, and he pressed her against the wall and kissed her, the thin dress she wore left nothing to the imagination as his how eyes drank in the beauty on display in front of him.
He kissed her so hard, that she began to feel a metallic taste on her mouth.
"Stay away from me" He muttered kissing her one more time roughly.
"If you come near me one more time, I will take it as an invitation to f**k" He threatened, his hands let go of her wrists and he moved away from her, as if she were poison.
What was that?
That made no sense.
He hated her?
Madhu was no longer sure of anything anymore, she felt as though she had dreamed the entire incident up, but her swollen lips were her only evidence that it was real.
