Kurukshera War- Day 17 Sunset
The episode starts with kunti runs in the battle field looking for Karna. She takes his name and he says 'Mata'. She reaches him and she outstretches his hand. She holds his hand and says My son Karna. She puts tilak of blood on his forehead. Arjun watches perplexed. Karna says you did my tilak I got relieved of all my sins. Kunti says but who will relieve me of the sin of causing your death my son?
Arjun asks Vasudev why is mother crying over the death of the enemy? Krishna says enemity has ended. Its time to reflect on the relationship. The relations born in tears end in tears too. Go and ask your mother.
Kunti tells Karna that she never kept his head in her lap. My motherhood burnt. Karna says that my misfortune mother. I never could give you any happiness. I got Radha Ma's lap but could not give you a son's loyalty. He asks her to keep his head in her lap. Karna says he wants to depart now after leaving all his sorrows and enemities in her lap.
Arjun other pandavs and vasudev reach the spot. Kunti puts Karna's head in her lap.Bheem asks what she is doing? He is our enemy.
Kunti says no Bheem I was his enemy
Nakul says he had vowed to kill your five sons
Kunti ssays no dear he had vowed to keep my five sons alive that is why he didnt kill any of you.
Pandavas are totally perplexed
yudishtir asks her what she means and to be clear . She starts but Karna stops her sating stop queen mother. Respect is like a castle of sand it goes down too easily. I am ready to die now what will either of us get by this revelation.? Let this secret be sealed in time.Kunti says no son you didnt give me any punishment now if my sons insult me it would be apt
Arjun comes and sits near Kunti and says my heart is trembling mother. Tell me what is the secret what mistake and what punishment.?
Kunti says a mistake of before marriage. She tells them the circumstances and the story of Karna/s birth and says he is your elder brother
Radha and Vrishali come there. Radha gets emotional and says queen mother you have taken my sons life. He is my son.Radha compares Kunti to a crocodile. Karna pacifies her and says he is her son.He asks her not to blame mata Kunti.He says Vasudev has two mothers and I can have two sons too. Radha tells kunti how Karna had welcomed her to Hastinapur with flowers. Karna says he is son of two mothers
Pandavas are shocked beyond there imaginations to hear the truth. They remember all the past insults they had done of Karna.
Yudishtir says she has dine such an Adharma. He says what is hidden is a sin and what is brought to light is punya. He tells her that she hid a punya and gave it the life and fate of sin.
Karna tries to stop him from calling kunti names.
Pandavas are disgusted with thenselves that the person whose feet they should have touched. They insulted that person.
Arjun says I have committed the biggest sin. How o mother did you let us do it.
Karna held Arjun's hand and said I made you do it my dear younger brother Arjun. To prove I am better. And I succeeded. You had to use treachery to kill me .
Ek ma ki santaane plays in the back ground

Duryodhan says he will remain hiding and till he hears of Pandava death he wont die

Fantastic Nandini.This is the most beautiful and emotional episode of Mahabharat.CVs have done a fantastic job and all the brother's and kunti's acting were superb,especially karn,arjun and kunti.Thank u so much 4 the wu
