What if Rudra died instead of Parvati

The original thought of Rudra dying instead of Parvati was from FairyLiquidSoap and Ashish playing a bubbly youngster and a new character.

I am just adding my take on it.

I didn't want anyone to die though but if it was important for RR to have a leap and one of the leads had to die; I feel it would have made more sense to kill Rudra than Parvati. Here is why.

  1. Rudra to Parvati was always a Rakshak, a protector. It would have been in line with Rudra to die protecting Parvati and his kid.
  2. It would have been interesting to see Parvati dealing with her inner demons for a change. E.G. whomsoever she gets married to dies or gets murdered.
  3. Parvati has been shown as someone who rose above her grief and wounds. If Rudra were to die, she wouldn't have closed herself off like Rudra might (as per current scenario) and may have opened to a possibility of love later in her life. I don't want the stereotypical take on how a woman needs a man in her life. But yes, a chance for love to blossom.
  4. I would have loved to see Ashish in a breezy (not cheesy!) avatar bonding with Parvati's son and bringing the smiling Parvati back. Ashish's new character could have later developed into a deep, caring, emotionally mature guy who understands the space that Paro comes from and falls deeply in love with her.
  5. In short- I can see how a TV version of the old movie Kati Patang could have played out! It would have been a refreshing change of seeing Ashish and Sanaya in completely different avatars. For now it is the same old stuff: brooding, stonehearted Rudra and a breezy girl. We know Sanaya can pull off Myra well but it would have been creatively challenging to see Parvati in a different set up!
But then when the CVs are hell bent on butchering creativity and shoving down the gyan of #suchislife for their audience, what more can be expected!

The above scenario is just a brainwave. I would have preferred a happy ending for the show. For me RR is done with. I might sneak in for the beautiful pair of Ashish and Sanaya; not for a story for sure!

P.S. I hope the CVs are not trying to make a Sati out of Parvati literally confusing the whole Shiv Puran!

P.P.S. To all lovelies especially PrincessSunara- LOVED your post on PaRud's happily ever after; I will keep this memory fresh and bid adieu to this show with a smile. All is well 🤗

This is a great idea and obviously not something our butter brained CVs could have ever thought or imagined.

This is a great idea, and honestly it would have been something truly different. Right now, it seems we're in for a re-hash of stone hearted Rudra resisting love, and his son playing Cupid.

Myrah is very different from Paro. So Sanaya gets to do something different. But Rudra will be the same old repeat and rewind.

Unfortunately I don't know if TRP aunties are ready for a widow to re-marry. Maybe that's why the cvs didn't want to take the risk.

Myra is different from Paro but she is closer to how Sanaya is in real life- bubbly and easy. So I guess playing Myra would be easier for SI.

I didn't want anyone to die, I wanted them to reborn. I wanted no kid in the screenplay either. But that would have been different if the hero had died. I don't think that the heroine would have fall in love with anyone else ever. That is my belief. I strongly believe that. 😆 Oh well its all over now.

Oh yes, playing Myrah will be easier for SI than playing Paro ... Paro was a challenge for her, that's why she chose to do the role. But she will have to make the switch to a totally different character literally midstream ... and seeing how Sanaya immerses herself in her characters, that will be a challenge for her initially.

The Cvs could have done something different by trying out ur idea , but why would they bother when they can cut-paste from other shows .
