A - what i share with armaan is that i am focussed...if i was armaan, i wouldnt have married mallika, i wasnt convinced with the story but then there is not much that we can do...If in real life i was so much in love with a girl like Jassi, i would have tried to keep her at all costs.

what attracted you to shilpa and how did you meet
A - shilpa excited me in a strange way as she was upfront & straightforward, not many in industry are like that (many are dual faced, hypocrytic). initially she didnt like me ...film guys have this bad reputation for drinking, partying, womanising.
i did none of these and convinced her that i was the one for her.

A - film writer, expired in 94, started career with films like mr natwarlal, yaaraana, dostaana, do aur do paanch...etc etc lots of blockbusters (about 40 films)
are you excited about becoming a pilot?
Oh yes. its my hobby now. i did it for 15-16 hours but i stopped when my dad expired...I want to finish it..I want to come to texas, take private lesson/liscence and take shilpa for a ride

how did jassi happen to you
A - diya singh and tony singh called me & narrated the script. I thought it had to be pathbreaking...either turn out to be a blockbuster/disaster...and turns out it was a blockbuster

I have always had this from day one - i can look into their eyes and deliver the lines...i can do it even if it was al pacino...I have to take it out of my mind that they are SRK or al pacino and then i can do it
By the way that scene where you said stuff about India in the movie...you acted brilliantly

A - raj/parmeet sethi...he does these comical sequences with so much of ease...and some scenes with mona too...
will the show ever go back to BLF...do you like the deviation
A - its not easy to write a daily soap and keep people hooked on the TV and he has successfully done that...a few boring episodes is a part of the TV soaps...
do you have any say over your character
A - not at all, i just say yes to everything....
which period of jassi did you enjoy most
A - I loved the time when armaan and jassi were truly madly deeply in love with each other...
