He felt his hand shaking then his shoulder and then his whole body, he opened his one eye to see, and there she was standing wearing a peacock colour silk saree, looking as beautiful as ever.
He just pushed his head back stuffing in the pillow "Not again, she never even let me sleep properly" Randhir muttered.
And sanyukta just rolled her eyes "I heard that" Sanyukta said crossing her hands before her chest. "My intention was that only, I wanted you to know ki tum mujhe kitna pareshan karti ho" .Randhir said getting more comfortable on the bed...
"whatever, Now wake up already, we are getting late" Sanyukta said, now getting irritated/
"oh! Shut up, wait for 5 minutes" Randhir said. Sanyukta just made a face and went from their and stood in front of the mirror. And after 5 minutes Randhir got up from his bed, walking towards Sanyukta trembling ...
"Yeah, Now tell me who has died that you are shouting so much in early morning" Randhir said in his usual rude tone
"Jeez, Have some shame Randhir, you should not say something like this" Sanyukta said...
"What's happening people?" a handsome guy standing on the door came inside.
"Nothing much, she's fighting with me again." Randhir said pointing towards Sanyukta.
"Oh my! look who's saying this, I'm fighting? You're fighting" Sanyukta said, rolling her eyes at him.
"Okay, calm down. This happens everyday, tell me something new!" guy said sitting down on the sofa making himself comfortable.
"Whatever" Randhir and Sanyukta said together, and then glared each other.
"Arghh, Stop it you both, and MOM, all preparations are done, right?" Sandhir asked sanyukta.
"Yeah, I've done everything. Don't worry." Sanyukta smiled lovingly at her Son.
"BTW, Mom you're looking so beautiful, Everyone knows from where I've got my good looks from." Sandhir winked and again added "Dad just look at you, look Mom is already ready for the ceremony and you? You've just woken up!"
"That's the reason why I was fighting with him." sanyukta said...
Randhir just rolled his eyes , took a towel and went inside the washroom, he knew he doesn't stand a chance of winning the argument when sanyukta and sandhir were in same team.
after half an hour Randhir came out of the washroom...
"sandhir ke papa, maine aapke kapde bed pe rakhe hai pehen lo."sanyukta said in her usual tone...
"What? Say a bit louder I'm not able to understand" Randhir said in a bit louder voice...
"Aree, I'VE KEPT YOUR CLOTHES ON THE BED, WEAR THEM QUICKLY AND COME DOWN" sanyukta shouted.
randhir understanding what sanyukta was saying shook his head...took his clothes from the bed went inside the washroom...after wearing his blue colour sherwani...which matched completely with sanyukta's saree he came out of the washroom...and threw his night suit on the bed and turned towards sanyukta...
"kaisa lag rha hoon mai ?" randhir asked with his usual smirk...
sanyukta tried to see...but it was all burred ..."sahi se nhi dikh rha...but tum toh hamesha ki tarah ache hi lag rhe hoge..."
randhir just smiled...searched for sanyukta's spectacles...he took the spectacles from the side table of the bed and went to sanyukta...and made her wear the spectacles...
"han...ab dikh rha hai sahi se..."..sanyukta said ...
"han to batao kaisa lag rha hoon mai ?" randhir asked...
"Sandhir ke papa...u know what ? ur still the same...ur as handsome as u were before"...sanyukta said...encircling her hands around randhir's neck...
and randhir encircled his arms around her waist and pulled her closer ...
" I love you " randhir said
"I love you too sandhir ke papa..." sanyukta said...
" OH MY GOD ! ...MY LOVE BIRDS...WHAT A SIGHT ! " sandhir shrieked ...clicking the exclusive picture of randhir and sanyukta in his mobile...
sanyukta and randhir both embarrassed left each other...
" I can't believe this...its been 59 years since ur married but ur romance is ever-green and ur never ending love gives me goosebumps..." sandhir said...
both sanyukta and randhir were just looking at the floor..." okay...i won't tease u further...lets get going...we are getting late..." Sandhir said...
both sanyukta and randhir looked at each other...
and again sandhir said ..." guys...u'll be together forever so stop staring...par abhi mere bete ke bare mei bhi soch lo jiski aaj shadi hai..."
sanyukta and randhir looked at each other and thought "FOREVER IS TOO SHORT..."
AND they came out of their room to the living room...
"aree wah...kitna pyara lag rha hai mera beta"...sanyukta said to Armaan...(Armaan is randhir and sanyukta's grand son)
"Nope, You look the best Dadi, you know I don't even want to address you as Dadi You're way too beautiful to be called as Dadi." .Armaan said in his usual flirtatious tone...
"iska baap sandhir aur yeh armaan jab dekho farzi se firt karte rehte hai...apni mom se aur dadi se bhi koi flirt karta hai "? randhir thought...and then said " Armaan...even I'm here...won't u praise ur grand father ? "
"aree...aap ke bare mei kya kahu...ur just way too handsome ...even I'm at loss of words"...Armaan said..
"bas bas...no need to flatter me...i'm sexy and I know it"....Randhir said ...
and the SHEKHAWAT FAMILY completed all the rituals and they left with the BARRAT...
everyone was dancing but randhir and sanyukta were in the last...holding each other's hands ...trying to walk...even their legs have given up...but their love was refreshing as always...

"voh kya hai na sandhir ki mummy...romance bta ke toh ata nhi hai...bas aa jata hai...ab iss mei bhi meri galti hai ?" randhir said encircling his arms around sanyukta's waist and pulling her closer...
and sanyukta too encircles her arms around his neck...
"I love u a lot sanyukta...never leave me..." randhir said
"I love u too randhir...aur yeh tum kaisi baatey kar rhe ho huh ? why will I leave u randhir ? "
"stay with me always...never leave my side...i don't know but I'm getting all weird thoughts...that u'll leave me..." Randhir said now close to tears...
" shut up randhir...ab ek word bhi aur mat bolna...i'll be with u forever..." Sanyukta said smiling..
" I know...but forever Is too short my love " randhir said...and started minimising distance between them...and brushed his lips with hers...
and they tried to kiss but they were not able to...
they broke the kiss...looked at each other...laughed a bit and removed their FAKE TEETH...even their teeth are broken but still their love was everlasting...
and they tried to kiss...without teeth in their mouths...they were not able to ...they knew that too...but they didn't left each other's mouth until they were running out of their breathes...
"I lub ju farji..." Randhir tried to speak without his fake teeth...
"I lub ju too MCP " sanyukta replied...
they wore back their fake dentures...and went where everyone was present...
"vivah sampan hua" Pandit ji said...
the newly wed couple came and took randhir and sanyukta's blessing...
" u know ankita...their love story is so heart warming...they were enemies and now they love each other so much..". Armaan told ankita...and turned towards randhir and sanyukta and added .".I LOVE U BOTH SO MUCH...AND I HOPE U'LL BE THERE WITH EACH OTHER FOREVER..."Armaan said to sanyukta and randhir...
"FOREVER IS TOO SHORT ...MY LOVE" SANYUKTA AND RANDHIR THOUGHT AND SMILED AT EACH OTHER...
