Rani-Aditya's engagement news isn't true

The news that Rani Mukherjee 'secretly' got engaged to filmmaker Aditya Chopra has the entire Chopra and Mukherjee clans aghast and amused.

No member of either family or their close friends, including Karan Johar who's currently in London, seem to be aware of this ceremony that apparently happened on Monday evening.

According to the rumours, Kirron Kher and her husband Anupam were also among the handpicked group of people who attended the hush-hush engagement ceremony.

Anupam has a hearty laugh over the matter. He says, "I was supposed to be at Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukherjee's engagement and I don't even know about it. Wow! Let me tell you, neither my wife nor I ever attended any such function. Because no engagement happened. I can say that with 5000 percent certainty. This is all hogwash. God knows who's spreading these rumours".

lolz Aditya chopra looks older, I wonder were ppl got that from..them getting engaged..lolz.I thot Aditya Chopra was already married with kids 😆

rumors.....ughhhhh 😡 And I told everyone in my family and friend that they did get married and Rani was playing her life in KANK cuz I thought the forums wouldn't lie 😆

😆 wonder how much IF members will fight when the ACTUAL engagement and wedding happens. 😆 there might not be an engagements as chopras don't want this wedding.. so it will be a register wedding for Rani and ADI.. and we will never get to see any pics of rani being dulhan 😆

Rani has linked with many co-stars. First it was govinda and rani going to get married. then last year it was a rumour rani and abhishek are engaged and now rani and aditya. rani was even linked with uday chopra. 😆i knew from the begining it's just a plain rumour but members at IF was pointing finger on rani's character 🤢 before the news gets confirmation.
