There are stark differences between the other soap and QH2.
Though the premise is the same, it's a contract marriage but I guess the similarities start fading after that.

1. The other couple was in love before the wedding, here Sanam has no feelings as such that have been acknowledged.
2. Rehan is not the bad guy, the ultimate bad guy is the gal Tanu, whereas the Jija was the bad guy.
3. The Male lead there did not even tell the female lead as to why he did the marriage with her, whereas ARI asked Sanam directly and she acknowledged that she did it for money and told him that He did the same.
4. The ML did contract marriage forcefully and after blackmailing her, here the poor guy was caught unaware and almost accepted today that he did it because he loved her.
5. QH has a back story which we all are privy to, there it was a hot passionate love story.
6. The ML was physically attracted to the FL from day 1, Here he fell in love with her attitude and khuddari, Good looks are an added bonus... <3
7. Sanam is a SABLA NARI, there the female leads sister's married life was at stake. Here Sanam will just keep her word for she is grateful to Begum Sahiba and hence will not take the abuse lying down.
This gives Sanam immense power to maintain her self respect.
8. The other guy in the love story is someone for whom ARI has a soft corner, whereas the Male lead hated the other guy in that soap.

Both are GK's work and I love them both !!!

Going forward we should expect
1. Nice moments between love struck ARI and defiant Begum Sahiba.
2. Rehan pining for his love and making sure that ARI is mean to Sanam.
3. Sanam will get to see Aahil's soft side and will fall in love with him.
4. And the opening and closing of the innumerable Raaz...
5. Razia and Seher.

QH has so much potential, hopefully it will be explored properly. But after today I am very hopeful that Female Abuse with not be a part of it.

i dont watch show anymore but do keep track. i was reading your other post on today epi and saw another post about precap. it made me think if qh2 heading for THAT show track post marriage...u know like other guy made FL sleep outside. den felt bad but still struggled to say feelings. also there is a similarity of pool side love too 😆

Well how much we curse this woman...truth is she give nice romantic tracks. even if she recycle there will be uniqueness like always am sure.

They can get the same success..Kv and Surbhi are amazing, awesome chemistry and acting. This can become another amazing romantic jodi..I just want Sanam to be strong till the end, she should not turn in to abala nari.. I loved the scene today where she asked him he did it for money too.. 👏 that was so awesome, and it was the truth and that is the reason Aahil was just quite..I am already in deeply in love with Sahil😳😊 just like Asya.. I now eagerly wait for episodes.. I am just hoping Gul will not mess this show, it will break my heart.

Nice post as always. I do not watch the other show, but could relate to all the QH points that you raised. Sanam is indeed a sabla naari.I loved that she hurled the accusation of marrying for money righ back @ ARI. If chhote nawab saheb had but glanced through the window of his bedroom, after throwing his beautiful bride out, he would have been immediately convinced that she did not marry him for money, for the afflicted Sanam promptly used the dupatta of 20 Lakh ghaghra ensemble as a kleenex to wipe her nose and eyes😆

Onward we go from here. I look forward to how this journey unfolds.
