*THAT PROMISE*

RK called madhu, and told her to come to her balcony. In a very sleepy voice, she asked him "But why now?".
To which he said, "coz i want to see you now".
She got up with a start, "What? You're here? Are you out of your mind?".
"Madhu, you come out, or i will come in", he said.
"Okay, okay. Give me a minute", she told him, and hung up.
She went to her balcony, only to find him standing their with a bunch of roses in his hand. Madhu told him to come up to her balcony, which he managed to, with a lot of difficulty.
"What are you doing here past midnight?" she whispered.
"You slept, without talking. Remember our promise? No matter what, before going to sleep we will always sort things out baby. And that's why i am here. Sorry, for not having enough time for you. I will make sure i give US all my time i can from now", he said going down on his knees, giving her those roses.
"Its okay", she told him, taking the roses, smelling their fragrance.
They talked for a while as they couched on her bed. His arms around her shoulder, and her head buried in his chest.
"I dont want to go", he said making a puppy face.
"Its 2am, go na", she said pushing him away.
"You want me to go just like that?", he questioned, with a smirk.
"Umm, yes", she said without making an eye contact.
He held her by the waist, and pulled her close, and their lips met.
"Goodnight", he said.
"Goodnight, text me once your home.", she told him.
And that night, was indeed a GOOD NIGHT for them.
