Action replay of Dadisa vs Anandi

In my opinion, the only reason Gulli was married off to Hardik was to replay those days of Dadisa vs Anandi when Anandi came to haveli as a balika vadhu.

Dadisa = Dadi bua
Anandi = Gulli

Gulli is always shown as Anandi's shadow. She handled Anandi's school when Anandi married and left. She also has a tainted past which can be compared to Anandi's tainted past of a broken marriage.

Dadi bua is always compared to Dadisa's old avatar. Rigid notions, stubborn attitude, so now we will see a tussle between Gulli and Dadi bua and a change of heart of dadi bua.

Looking at how things are going, I wonder where is the actual message of 'balika vadhu' lost? It's time they shut this serial down.

Balika Vadhu is not shutting down anytime "soon" because the show is ddoing way better than all the other shows on the channel 😛 And nor do i want to see it shut down 😳

And the point of this whole gulli marriage track was to show that never take a girl's past into consideration specially when she is not wrong! And probably they wanted a devar devarani for Ajee 😆 Since Mahi doesnt seem to be returning

There are quite a few differences between Gulli and Anandi as well as DB and Dsa.

DSa - believed that traditions are more than her life and relationships.Whether it was Suguna who was her grand daughter or Phooli who was just a friend of Anandi - she was same with the two of them.She never allowed Phooli inside her home and when Suguna became a widow she put Suguna also in the back room.

She didn't treat her daughhter differently from the way she treated Anandi.

DB - is quite okay with someone marrying Sanchi who has a tainted past because Sanchi belonged to a rich family but she did not want Hardhik to marry Gulli because she came from a family which is several rings below her own family.DB was enjoying Gulli's wedding celebrations and had no problems with a girl like Gulli getting married but she had problems when her grandson got married to her.She is a hypocrite.

Dsa may have been rigid and traditional arrogant and very proud of her wealth but she was not so petty minded like DB.Dsa was blind believer and follower of traditions.

Dsa doesn't have one rule for family and one for others.

While Dsa is an independant woman who is in charge of her life therefore she has every right to decide on what kind of people she wants as part of her family unlike DB who is completely dependant on others who has no hassles living in her brothers's home and lording over her brother's family imposing herself on them.

Dsa is not the kind of person who will impose her views on a family who has given her home and shelter.

Situation and people involved both are different though underlying theme may be same.
