Alisha to do an item song in Mumbai Salsa

| Singer Alisha Chinai will soon be seen in a film. She will perform to the title track of the forthcoming film Mumbai Salsa which is Vikram Bhatt's first joint production venture with ASA Films. Mumbai Salsa is being directed by writer-turned-director Manoj Tyagi. Alisha informs that it was producer Vikram Bhatt's idea to make her perform. Says Alisha, "The song is the title track of the film. This song is very special and dear to me as this is the debut venture of ASA Films and for me as well, as I am featuring in a title track for the first time. It is a nice fusion with a groovy rock and hip hop feel to it. ASA plans to use it as a promotional video as well." The title track will be Alisha's solo number while she also has a duet version of the song with Adnan Sami who has even composed for the film. The song will be picturized on the specially designed sets that has a lounge bar kind of a feel to it. In fact the title of the film 'Mumbai Salsa' refers to a lounge bar in the city of Mumbai. |
