STAR Plus' weekend show Prithviraj Chauhan has became so popular because of Rajat Tokas, who plays a young Prithviraj in the show, the producers are now scared to introduce Angad Bedi, who was supposed to play the mature Prithviraj Chauhan.
Earlier, there was talk of him being introduced in the month of July but the TRP's have gone up by such a large margin that the makers were forced to think otherwise.
The production house is now conducting a new screen test for the mature Prithviraj Chauhan and they haven't revealed the results to Angad, who may be bumped off. In the mean time an enraged Angad is going to calm himself by going to London to play county cricket.
We asked an anxious Angad Bedi to enlighten us a bit. "I have not yet started shooting as the production house has not approached me and for many months now I have had to wait as they're still stuck with Rajat Tokas's track because of his overwhelming popularity. So all my research and my hard work is being transformed into frustration."
We also spoke to producer Moti Sagar, who revealed, "We might extend Rajat's shooting as we haven't decided who will play the mature Prithviraj. We are doing a screen-test, so we may change him and recruit another actor." ;
So, who will finally play the mature Prithviraj Chauhan? Angad or someone else…
