Why can't Bollywood make good horror films?

When I was a kid I used to see films on Zee Cinema. They showed many B films also. Still show it a lot. Most B movies were horror flicks where all the actors were Z listers. These films were really horrible.🤢

They can't come up with good horror scripts and if they do it's usually trash. Not to mention sci-fi films, they don't have the experience or sufficient knowledge to make good sci-fi and horror films.

Did you miss Humshakals? It was horror extraordiare.

On a serious note, I watched RGV's raat starring Revati when I was like 5. Still freaks me out. Possibly the best horror film in bollywood. So they're certainly capable but they need better directors trying out the genre instead of bums like Vikram Bhatt who are manning the horror ship.
