Before Maan gives this news that he had made mind to take Mannat home .It had already reached Geet.She was a mother so with Rehaan she also wanted to take Mannat with her.But still had doubt in her mind " Is it okey?"..Even Maan thought for a while taking this decision.Even not consulted her at least.
She clashed with Maan while coming out of Mannat's room..All the questions in her eyes not let him judge that information had reached her.
" Geet I know tumko pataa chall gaya hai ...But just listen to me once .." He requested holding her .
" Maan I know you always tak your own decisions..Every decision u took...From to be a father till you snatched a little girl's innocent dream to call you Father..But things are different now .." A mother's hidden grief at last came out.
" Geet dekho don"t take stress...its not good for you..I know even if you might have forgiven me but some where u r still in dalemma to take me aa a culprit or Mannat k "Mere Papa Maan".. He had a lump in his throat while saying this..
" Still this is a fact Geet ..She is my daughter ..u gonna give me right on her or not..But please don"t stop me to do what is good for her.." He almost begged with teary eyes.
" Maan when I said you haven't any rite on her..Wo apki beti hai..I am sorry for wht I said..Maa hu na..But before taking this decision if you have asked me once..? " She corrected .."You might be rude arrogant and no doubt never take wrong decision but you never think how it gonna effect other lives...Like ur strange logic behind not to let Mannat call you "Mere Papa Maan"
She continued.." Now when you already hav instructed doctor ..I don gonna interfere.." She sighed
Maan looked at her with blank eyes .Thought for a while " Ya Geet..I always try to remain true to every one .But always try to impose my thinking on others ..I want to change now for you..for my kids and also for me...just give me a chance.." he poured his heart out.
" Maan you know why I love you ? ...Because for me ...aapse sacha insaan koi nahii.." She hugged him tightly .
" Let our daughter trust me now..Usko yakeen aa jaaye k uske "Mere Papa Maan" uska maasoom bachpan khone nahi dengay.." taking her in his secure arms he ensured.Tears rolled down to his cheeks.Which Geet wiped off.
" Chaliye Maan apne ghar chalay...apne bachchon k sath.." She said with twinkle of joy in her eyes.
" Ha Geet challo." Both leaves toward doctor's cabin for completing formalities.
It took a day to arranger everything in KM according to requirements.Rehaan got discharge in the evening but family decided to go home with both kids next day .
Next day in the morning
Inder took Rehaan in his lap.For Mannat staff brought stretcher But Maan sent them back .
Both father daughter have eye contact which only Maan can read and here even Geet failed to understand whats going on in between both.
" So Mannya Baby ghar chalay..apke Papa no no Mannya k " Mere Papa Maan" unko goddi mai utha le.." He said with heavy heart but smile to show the kids how happy he is with this decision to take them home.
A slight movement even Geet noticed in her hand " Maan Maan there is a movement in her hand.." Overwhelmed mother found a new ray of hope
" She is a fighter ...Maan Singh Khuraana ki beti haar nahi sakti...challo chaley " He placed soft kiss over little girl's forehead and took her in his lap carefully
Ambulance reached home in about 15 minutes and Daddi welcomed her kids by performing Aarti .Maan who always took two steps ahead than others had already arranged things . Kids need 24X7 attentions due to health and Geet was pregnant so Maan decided to shift downstairs and turned whole conference hall into bedroom for four.Rano, Inder and Even Nandini shifted in Khuraana Mension so to help Khuraanas in this tough time.
Mannat she was under effect of medicine so in sound sleep.Maan put her on bed and nurse arranged other things .." Sir u can go outside if you want I am her " nurse said
" No sister even if you are here I don gonna spare my daughter alone..U r professional..surly good at your work.Even than my daughter she can't express but she can understand...I couldn't let her feel that she is alone even in her house ..with family" It was strange that an introvert man like him bared his heart to nurse.Here he was just a father n nurse felt his pain.Whole family was in tears.
" Maan betay you are right we not gonna let our daughter alone at any time..If u are her father I am her Nanu..so I can stay here beta...Aapne kal se itna bhi rest nahi kiya...take some rest.." Inder assured him not to worry.Maan nodded his head in approval and left the room with all.Even if three nurses were arranged in shifts of 8 hours each family decided to take care of kids by themselves. As a doctor Nandini was already there.
In the sitting area
" I know its really a tough time for our family but we will overcome.." Nandini tried to cheer family already down in the dumps
" Ha Nandu...if Geet could fight alone and overcome years back then now we all are together and will fight." Rano second her.
" Daddi I had my coffee ..Rehaan is also sleeping so I think I should go to Mannat...when she ll woke up and ll not find me next to her...What she gonna think !! ...that her father is a liar who can't sit besides her.."without waiting any reaction Maan rushed toward room.
Daddi and Geet were smelling something what could be next.."Daddi Maa I m worried about Maan too..I know very well what depression means and how it beholds a normal person..Maan depression main na chaley jaaye due to Mannat's condition..Just to tell her how much he loves her ..he can go beyond any limit.." Geet's heart was sinking thinking about coming strong...
" You are right beta...but I don have that much courage that I could bear Maan's pain after you and kids now." Daddi start to sob ...Rano gave condolence to her.
Maan sent Inder and Nurse forcibly out of room...
At night
Whole family was at dinner table .Maan was still sitting next to Mannat when Geet brought dinner for him .She found Maan talking to Mannat She was awake now and listening to him.
" Mannya u know aapke Papa bolne se pehle sochte nahi ...I also hurt you a lot but now I promise I will change myself..In days you gonna be alright...fir aap bolna aur main sunnuga okey.." he kissed her hand which he was still holding.
" It is too late you should sleep now.." He stroked her hair.Geet was watching like a silent spectator... rooted to spot at the door but dared not to move
" Okey neend nahi aa rahi..Story sunaau...no no...Papa is bore at that..Baby every one says your father has good voice...Aur kuch nahi but ha mujhe ek lorri aati hai beta sunaau.." He made his mind to sing a lullaby for her
"I heard this from some one in the childhood...Okey let me try ..If you sleep it means papa is not a bore otherwise fir nahi sunaa-uga k..?" he said in high spirits
