Sakshi turned around and saw a fair looking man catching her...
"Zubie tu!" she asked shocked...
"Fantush... beith... kaha udhak phudak ke jaa rahi hai!" Zuber picks her up and places her on the bed...
"Par tum kaha... woh kala jacket... woh toh..." Sakshi started and caught her head again...
"Fantush... duniya main sirf tere dil wala shauhar sahab ke paas hi black jacket nahi hai." Zuber told her with a naughty smile...
"Dil wala shauhar - yeh kaun hai?" Sakshi asked...
"Arjun Suryakant Rawte..." Zuber said and hugged her... Sakshi blushed and hugged him tighter... tears finding their way out of her eyes... "I love him a lot... uske bina jee.." She sobbed as Zuber softly patted her...
"Kya Fantush, kahi bhi rona shuru kar deti hai..." Zuber smiled...
"Waise uss haadse ke baad ek baar bhi humse call nahi ki? Tere bhai nahi hai hum - koi ghair insaan hai kya?" Zuber looked away hurt...
"Bhaijaan nahi... par pata hai na... hum jiske piche the... agar tum log ko bhi kuch ho gaya toh?" Sakshi hugged Zubie...
"Hum log?" Zuber asked...
"Haan... aap aur aapke dil wale begum... Sanjana..." Sakshi smiled...
Zuber fondly caressed her hair... he was just about to leave "Allah ka shukhraana ki usne poocha nahi..."
"Zubie... mujhe kaise dhoonda?" Sakshi asked...
"Forget it aapka ab koi shukriyaada nahi!" Zuber mumbled looking up...
"Woh fantush tu sadak pe giri hui thi toh humne dekha aur tujhe pakad liya..." Zuber lied through his teeth...
"Hmm ok Zuber..." She mumbled and Zuber left with a sigh...
He went down to find Kapoor waiting for him...
"Kya Sakshi ne mere baare main poocha?" Kapoor asked...
Zuber nodded in a negative and Kapoor sighed...
"Anyways... Zuber, I need you to do a task..." Kapoor started...
"Done Kapoor, neither Rathore nahi Sen yaha Mumbai main aa rahe hai... par kya yeh sach tha ki Ayesha..." Kapoor started...
"Haan" Kapoor said...
"Kapoor yeh Ayesha toh bohot hi ajeeb nikli... hmm... matlab kaise?" Zuber asked...
"Sach yehi baat hai... jab main aur Verma ETF pe nazar rakhte the... ek hi cheez nazar aayi thi... sab Sakshi ko leke itni busy the... that no one noticed her... true Zuber... yeh Ayesha bohot ajeeb nikli..." Kapoor replied...
"Acha chal.. gotto go... finally Liza will meet Rawte... and uska.." Kapoor looked up
"Chinta mat karo.. she will be fine... fantush ziddi hai par pantush ki jaisi tedi nahi..." Zuber said and stopped... he forgot that his Ashi is no more...
"Pantush... Ashi's name..." Kapoor thought and left with a small sad smile...

"Shera!" Karan was alarmed looking at the garage's situation - more importantly Arjun's...
"Arjun!" Simran was alarmed...
"Mr. Arjun!!!" Anjali ran towards him...
Arjun had sobered down by now.. he had become frozen... he knew one thing now... in his heart she is alive... no matter what... till the day he dies he would believe so... now pushing away all the thought he had to concentrate on one thing... the mission...

His name was more than enough for him to get infuriated and leave... Karan tried to call but Arjun just showed his hand to keep him quiet...
Suddenly he found his hand tugged...
"Arjun bhaiya... please... ek minute ruko naa..." Anjali said - referring Arjun as her bhaiya for the first time...
He sat down... for the first time listening to someone in the first shot... he should have done this earlier... learn to listen to people... but isn't he a mortal... can't he have faults... why must he be punished so hard?
Arjun came out of his reverie as Anjali hugged him...
"Bhaiya bulaaya isliye bura laga kya - sorry Mr. Arjun.." Anjali held her ears...
Arjun ruffled her hair "Mujhe apne parivaar ka hissa mat banao Anjali... jo bhi mere saath hota hai woh door chala jaata hai.."
Saying that Arjun walked out...
He went to the chai stall to have his tea... after buying the cup of his tea he just stared at the glass... somehow the hot liquid didn't go down his throat...
He kept the chai aside and stared around when his eyes fell on the chai waala... wait... this was a different guy...
Arjun returned the tea and walked around the locality... how could have been so blind... shoot! Each and every person around him was different.. yeh kaise ho sakta hai?
Arjun squinted his eyes... he turned around and - the dog was missing as well...
What? How is this possible...
Arjun walked back to the chai stall to find another person there.. WTH?
The man smiled and gave an envelope to him and left...
Rawte... Don't panic... we are good people... utne samajdaar ho tum... listen carefully... look at the files and try to separate something...
I know there has been an emotional phase... I understand...
And the people who have been shifted around were informers of Sikandar...

He went back to his place and gathered all the files.. he read and re-read them again...
Arjun drew a chart... he started filling in whatever information he knew... for now he knew that there is no use in trying to track the person who is tracking him...
Keeping those futile thought at bay he silently continued to work and read whatever information he received... His eyes widened at one point when he seemed to figure out one thing... he re-read every piece of information...
Till he fell asleep reading them...
Karan sighed looking at the situation... he draped a small blanket on a sleeping Arjun... his Shera had changed overnight... all due to her... and whoever she was - she made a big difference... if only she had lived to see it... but then again if she was alive he would have never realized this...
Karan thought "Shera... jo bhi tera iss haalat ka wajah hai - main tera saath doonga uska band bajaane main... aur jaha tak pyaar ki baat hai - pata nahi... ab toh sochne ka bhi taaqat choot gaya..."
Simran kept a hand on his shoulder... Karan turned around and hugged her tight... Simran stood a little numb for a few seconds... "Simmi... Shera indirectly mera strength tha... ab tak main strong tha usse dekh ke... but now I am scared Simran... I feel vulnerable... agar Shera tooth sakta hai... toh main bhi... aur agar yeh hua toh main papa ko insaaf kaise doonga? Jiske liye maine Shera se kaam karne laga tha... aaj pehli baar darr lag raha hai... aur tu... tujhe kuch nahi hona chahiye..." he confessed...
Simran parted from him and kept her hand on his... their eyes speaking volumes to each other and that meant everything...

Zuber went to his Fantush's room to find it empty... the salwar had gone... the old one was folded... a note was there...

Sanjana turned around and stood quietly... Zuber walked towards her... he felt pulled helplessly towards her...
Her heartbeat started going fast... then she felt his breath fanning on her neck...
He swept her hair aside... and kissed her gently on her neck... wiping away the droplets of water on her skin... she caught his hand which was wound around - caressing her soft belly...
He was her fiance... he always respected her... he had every right and she should have given them... but...
He turned her gently around and found his hands tracing her arms... she started breathing hard and her lips parted for him as he came closer... his hands played with her camisole's straps...
She closed her eyes, her forehead creased in tension and anxiety as to what was to come.. she turned her face slightly towards the other side... Zuber smiled sadly and cupped her face...
He looked at her baby pink lips... and sighed...
He took something from the closet and came towards her again... his hands snaked around her waist...
Her breath hitched but she allowed him to continue... firmly shutting her eyes... he kissed her eyelids gently...
He went near her ears and whispered "Dariye mat Sanjana... aap kapre badal lijiye... thand lag jayegi... agle baar darwaaza band rakhiye ga..."
She opened her eyes to find herself wrapped in a long bathrobe... that's why his hands were going randomly around her...
Zuber handed over a bracelet "Fantush ne di..." Sanjana gave a slight smile... During their engagement Zuber had spoken about Fantush... his Sakshi...
She took it and just looked at him... he closed his eyes for a second and shook his head... as if shaking away all the thoughts...
Just before Zuber left he told "Sanjana.. chinta mat karo... tumhari ijaazat bina main kabhi kareeb nahi aavunga... aur aaj ke liye - I am really sorry..." she tried to stop him from apologizing but he instantly closed the door and walked out...
Sanjana just sat on the bed... confused to find her eyes moist... was it due to happiness or what? And Zuber... he had been her support so far and she barely even spoke to him nowadays... but only if she could make him understand...
"Main usse deserve nahi karti..." she thought and let the moisture spill from her eyes..

Zuber walked out of her room running his fingers through his hair and banging his fist on the railing... "Hum aise misbehave kaise kar sakte hai... Sanjana kya soch rahi hogi? I know ki after her abbu passed away she needs space and time... aur hum.. uska hosla banna chahiye... yeh sab karke sirf uski kamzori banenge hum... hum uska intezaar karenge... jab woh chahegi... tab hi iss rishte ko aage badayenge..." he ranted...
To find Verma looking at his face...
"Vv..verma aap?" Zuber asked surprised... as usual Verma was in a baggy jeans and loose shirt... a gun tucked neatly in it's place... hair swept back and aviators resting on the nose...
Placing the aviators away "Haan...tum batao ki kya tumne Sanjana ke saath..." Verma's voice trailed away...
"Nothing Verma.." Zuber looked away...
"Zuber jhoot bolne ki koi faida nahi, widened pupils, flaring of nose, slight quickening of breath... you shared an intimate moment with her na?" Verma smiled... "aur ab bura lag raha hai cause you feel it was the wrong thing..."
Zuber looked at Verma in surprise...
"Chouko mat... you know it's my trait to know everyone..." Verma smiled...
"Sivayi khud ko... aur Kapoor ko..." Zuber completed...
Verma just looked at Zuber... "Hmm.. Waise Zuber we are losing links on Sikandar... din bhar din we are loosing the track.. yeh Sikandar itna jald hi kyun apna tracks disappear kar raha hai?" Verma grumbled...
"I know Verma... ab kya karsakte hai... hmm maybe if we try to trace him from previous cases..." Zuber asked... his eyebrows scrunched in worry...
"Fayda nahi... waise bhi maine apna second informer ko activated hone keliye kaha hai..." Verma said and looked aside..
"Par ek baat humare zehen main nahi aaya ki aap Arjun Rawte ki madat... kyun?" Zuber finally asked...
"Akal lagao Zuber ji... waise ek shot main pata chalta toh aapka naam Zuber nahi Verma hota na?" Verma smirked at an amused Zuber...
"Just kidding.. you see Sikandar ko trace karne ke liye... uske dushman ki madat karna chahiye... cause he doesn't keep a track on his own informers... rather he keeps a track on his enemies ki informers... aur jab pata chalega that I am helping him... phir Sikandar will start tracking him and I can strike a deal of being a double agent to reach SikAAA!!!!!" Verma screamed putting hands on head...
"Kya aafat aa gayi?" Zuber asked...
"I am a certified stupid person!! Fool!! DOnkey.. my Kappy..." Verma said jumping around like a lunatic...
"Woh toh aap hai! Par hua kya hai?" Zuber asked... trying to control his laughter seeing Verma jumping like a monkey...
"Shoot... I just damn understood that Kappy was doing the same thing..." Verma's eyes widened in realization...
"Matlab?" Zuber said... smiling very well...
"Abbey Kappy became Arjun's informer... when Sikki started tracking toh Kappy became double agent ... aur main... kya kya gaali di!!! Mera kuch nahi hone waala!!!!" Verma said...
"Ab toh Kappy won't forgive me yaar!!! And I can't live without Kappy..." Verma started banging the head on the wall...
"Suno... apna sar aap baad main patak lena.. pehle jao aapka Kappy ke paas..." Zuber smiled...
"No... I suck in relations... main kya kahoon... ab gadhon ki tarha kya kuch nahi ... you know what happens when I am angry... sh*t... why..." Verma jumped - again... impulsive being the surname for Verma...
Crying with happiness Verma wiped the about to spill tears away...
"Kappy wait kar...yeh Veeru is coming for Jai!" Verma said emotionally and jumped out of the window...
"Oye! Verma!!!" Zuber asked his eyes popped out...
"Darr mat... this is my style..." Verma winked with moist eyes... holding on to the balcony railing...
Zuber saluted at Verma while Verma glided down the floors and disappeared into the air...
Verma's POV
I ran... chasing the clouds... I finally smiled after a long time...
Misunderstanding... my surname... coming to conclusions without trying to draw them... my first name...
Surprised aren't you with my filmy behavior in front of Zuber...
But what to do... I have been a person with the most weird sort of aspects in my personality...
Do I first time get to see the flaws in my personality...
To hide pain I become emotionless... to hide joy and guilt I use humor...
I could never tell Kappy - knowing Kappy even before I joined this field... Kappy had become a part of my life...
More than a best friend... my mentor, my guide...
The only person in the world who would quietly accept every tantrum and erratic decision of mine...
And what did I do... insult and doubt... never asked why... just did and behaved as what I felt was right...
No matter how strong I pretend to be... I know that I am sensitive and weak...
Perhaps this is the first time that I realize that as well...
A person can't have every great quality... how can I have every quality?
On the professional front I have been perfect...proud as I have been the best.. but I know in doing that... I never really succeeded in my personal front...
There had always been another reason why I helped Rawte - it's because whenever I saw him... I saw myself standing... I didn't want to help him fearing of my own demons coming fore...
Demons of anger and pain... I have suppressed them for a long time now... maybe years together...
For the first time I felt something damp on my cheeks... for the first time I started crying...
I realized that maybe for the first time... I got to know the other first times as well...
As I ride in Kappy's favorite BEST bus... I think as to what to say... would Kappy forgive me?
Kapoor looked at the sky above... having a strong extra sensory perception Kapoor knew one thing "I am waiting Verma... no need to say anything buddy... I was never upset at you..." and slowly flicked away the lone tear forming...
