Today's Take is back with Teen Ka Tadka 😃

UltimateRudra, Tennessean and Hope join me in starting this discussion thread from today onwards.

The episode today was good ... equal focus on PaRud and on the Shantanu story.

Move over, Tejawat, we have the next shatir villain in the house. And he has even deeper dimples, to boot! 😆

Episode starts with Paro upset with Rudra ... how could he be so rude to the new BSD man, especially about his dead brother? Rudra tries to tell her that she's always too quick to trust the wrong people ... Tejawat and Laila being the biggest examples ... Paro counters that Rudra is always quick to mistrust people, Paro herself being the prime example. And she doesn't like it when Rudra is rude for no reason. Rudra doesn't agree ... so she gives him the silent treatment. Night ... and morning.
Darn, that's the big C delayed again for no good reason! 😕😆

Paro sulking and Rudra awkwardly trying to cajole her out of her sulks has to be one of the cutest sights on screen ... especially when Paro isn't really very good at sulking anyway. What she is good at, though, is catching her Major Saab out in his tricks ... spilt hot tea, missing scissors, outright flirting with sexy kamariya 😳 ... nothing works. Although she's too soft hearted to actually let him sew his button himself! Can't let her precious Major Saab do so much work!

It was so good to see Rudra on the receiving end of Paro's anger for once ... even though the anger was more cute sulking than actual anger. And it didn't last too long ... Paro's sulks never do. Of course, they both enjoy the making up 😳

What Paro's sulks accomplished ... they forced Rudra to apologise to Shantanu ... much to Shantanu's delight. Which might be a good thing in the long run ... to get Shantanu confident that he has bamboozled everyone successfully, including the shatir Major saab.

And they also forced Rudra to seek Maithili's advice ... yet again ... on ways to cajole a sulking biwi. While Maithili's advice was spot on, Shantanu was a step ahead of him here.

Moral of the story - when you get gift to placate sulking biwi, make sure you hand it over to her ASAP ... not leave it lying around for any Tom, Dick and Harry to lay his hands on.

Oh and before I forget ... how is it that aforementioned Tom, Dick and Harry can peep into PaRud's bedroom at any given time? 😕

Shantanu is very, very wily ... he's figured out the family weaknesses, and will use them unscrupulously. Which includes flirting with Sunehri ... and her mother ... reading hands ... and telling everyone exactly what they know already, or want to know ...

The burning in Paro's life part was rather well done ... the right amount of menace, dissolving just in time into laughter. So Rudra didn't get upset at Shantanu holding Paro's hand.

So far Shantanu is a few steps ahead of Rudra ... the exchanged saree for widow's clothes ... to Paro's horror ... and Rudra's rage

Again Rudra is sure that Shantanu is up to no good ... this time he beats him up, and Shantanu stays passive ... and a well timed voice message proves Rudra wrong yet again. He's caught the wrong guy again ... as before. Much to Rudra's baffled fury.

And Shantanu gloats ... as Rudra is divested of his duty ... first his job is gone, next in line ... the one he loves more than life itself.

While I enjoyed PaRud ... a lot after a serious drought ...😛 ... I have to say Shatir Shantanu stole the show in the latter half.

Sunehri, the weakest link ... undefined

He messed up with Sunehri by showing her his anger over his dead brother ... he lost no time in pulling her back with sweet smiles and a winning apology.

Mohini ... apart from Rudra, the strongest link ... the other person most likely to resist flattery and empty praise ... but for how long? So Shantanu starts on her too ... can any woman resist flattery for too long?

Getting on the right side of all the ladies in the house ... Sunehri, Maithili and Paro ... he's just a regular great guy hiding his grief about his dead brother and trying to smile through his pain. What a noble soul! No wonder he has all the ladies eating out of his hands

Shantanu has already found the chink in Rudra's armor ... his anger. And Paro.

And he will manipulate Rudra and Paro through a judicious mix of both.

Thanks for the thread, Diya... Beautiful post... I totally agree with handing over the gift to a sulking wife ASAP... Major Saab better hand his gifts over to Paro the next time... And why the hell is a bedroom made public for peeping tom's in every single show... I wish PaRud had a bedroom with no windows... There is no thing called Privacy and that too in their own bedroom😕... You are right, Sunheri is the weak link and Shantanu figured it out pretty early in the game... I am worried for her... She looks like this little lamb who lost her way and is entering a lions den.. And him flirting with Mohini... Her confused expressions... Hilarious. Have to give it to the Villain.. He achieved something which even Tejawat didn't accomplish. Confusing Mohini.😆

Today we got a well balanced episode... Felt really great to see one after a while. Loved it❤️. And the best part is, our Monday episode started with PaRud scene😃... So, Paro tells Rudra that he is wrong in searching his fellow BSD officer's room... Points out to him that he always had trust issues and his actions today made it clear that he still does. Rudra retorts back that he doesn't believe that guy.. Something about this officer sets him off (Rudra please stick to that feeling👍🏼) Tells her that she is always fast in believing people... Be it Tejawat or Laila. And that makes Paro angry... Why? Because her husband brought up her mistakes.. Making it all her fault when he was the one having trust issues..

The reason for their fight might have been a silly one... But because of that fight, the morning that followed gave us wonderful PaRud scenes... For once it was nice to see Paro angry and Rudra trying to pacify her... But out Banna Sa is very bad at it... He fails miserably and leaves to office sulking with an empty stomach... I loved Rudra pouring tea on his hand to gain Paro's attention... And his innocent face when he shows her the button... God! can he get any more adorable...😆. I loved the naughty Rudra who hid the scissors like a kid... Major Saab just can't keep his hands off his wife's Kamariya😆... And, I can't blame him now, can I? Paro's kamariya hai hi itna sexy😳..

The palmistry scene was nicely done... Vishal is doing a nice job as Shantanu👍🏼... One second he is all smiling and the next he transforms into this evil Villain... The way he tells Paro about fire, smoke, devastation gave me goosebumps.. I can feel his hatred through his voice...

I am totally loving the Bhabi-Deevar relationship of Maithili and Rudra... Today when she was teasing and talking freely with Rudra over the phone... I realized how nicely this relationship has grown... The comfort Maithili has with Rudra now... Awesome... 😳

Major Saab, you should have immediately dragged your Paro from the kitchen to your bedroom and given her the gift... Why didn't you?Now see what happened? Ghai Saree Paani Mai... I really wanted to see the saree that Rudra brought for Paro 😛...

So, the Shatir Shantanu changed the saree with widow cloths... Poor Paro... The shock, scare, panic and pain she felt.. Poor her. Sanaya was brilliant in that scene👏. I liked how Rudra connected the dots back to Shantanu in a flash... No doubt he is smart... But he is up against an opponent who is as smart as him.. So, how will Rudra play this? Will he fall into Shantanu's trap and loose his cool? Will he stop doubting Shantanu, now that the Villain himself told Rudra that he has the wrong guy for the second time?? Will he believe in him like all other family members??? Too many questions, predictions and anticipations... CV's are building up the track well.. The story is moving forward pretty nicely and I am loving it.😃

Even though I am not happy to see Shantanu going scot free for what he did... Of everyone falling for his trick again... I am so damn happy to see Rudra beat him up ... And Rudra's anger, helplessness and frustration were quiet visible when he was listening to the message... Ashish nailed it 👏...

So, Rudra is asked to stay away from BSD till he gets some help. Psychiatrist?? What crap?? That advise would piss even a common person like me.. No wonder Rudra was loosing it... But, why do I get the feeling that this is Rudra's plan to get the Stalker to let his guard down... Hopefully that is true *Fingers Crossed*... That will be awesome surprise for Shantanu who has been winning till now. A game is more fun when played by two parties with equal caliber... Stalker made moves till now... It is high time, Rudra makes his. Two shatir dimaag clashing... Now, that would be a treat to watch...👍🏼

I feel this will go the Tanveer way ...in qubool Hai. The actress is pretty, and did a great job as a villain. So much so, that in order to keep the trps high, they pdragged her track for ever, and brought her back twice in the show. Now she rules the roost even in season 2! 😕

I hope RR does not make the same mistake! Sumer says at the end... Voicemail ko dhamki de raha hain!

Rudra almost had it... shanty said... Sir mere liye tohfa? That did not look gift wrapped... It looked like a parcel...of some papers perhaps. Once Rudra figures that was a voicemail, Shanty will be under the lights again.

So far, no danger of Shanty falling for

Paro.

That widows sari was quite vicious... And therein lies the clue! Who would want to send Paro a gift of widows clothes... Either someone who wants Rudra dead or someone who knew Paro was a widow or both.

Thanks Diya for the beautiful post. You have made wonderful points and here are some of my thoughts.😊

Shwetha- Wonderful collages.😊

1) Reprimanding moment- Paro reprimands Rudra for getting angry and he is right about not having trust on anybody but Paro does remind him that he didn't trust her either and he can be wrong this time too. Both Major and Paro are right here from their point of view.😊

2) Sunehri-Shantanu moment- Shantanu knows that he needs to have Sunehri on his side so he is out to woo her and says sorry. Sunehri did tell about Mala but thank God she stopped. However, I liked when she said that Rudra is her favorite who is toghie from outside and a softie from inside. Agreed Sunehri Bai Sa.😛

3) KCM interrupted at the right moment today and Mr. Nice was out to woo her too but it will take a lot of attempts to get her in his party. Loved how she told Sunehri if the beds need to be sold.😆 Guys- do you think KCM can be of some help in unraveling Mr. Nice?

4) Awesome moment- How adorable was the moment when Major got up and asked for tea the next morning and dropped it on purpose? 😉 Paro rushes to him and Major is successful here because he did get Bai Sa's attention. He loved the blowing by Paro Bai Sa even tough it was for a short time. Naughty Major.😛

5) Numero-Uno moment - How many of you liked Major's tactics to tear apart the button and let Paro sew it? 😉 On top of that, he hid the scissors and wanted Bai Sa to come close to tear apart the thread. Way to go Major. The only problem was that Bai Sa knew where the scissors were and took it away from him.😛 Better luck next time, Major.

6) Maithili-Paro- I love how Maithili asked Paro who is mad today, and Paro says that it is Major who is always mad at the end. I love the sisterly bond between Maithili and Paro and how Maithili can guess that something is wrong with Paro.😊 Maithili is also being the peacemaker between Rudra and Paro. Thanks Maithili Bia Sa.

7) Challenging moment- Loved how Paro said that she is going to make sure that Major eats the food. 😊 Way to go Bai Sa.

8) Did anybody love Maithili picking up the phone and telling Devar ji that girls like gifts, it can bring a smile on a girl's face? Thanks Maithili Bai Sa.😛

9) Shantanu knows what make Ranawat women happy so he resorts to palm reading. The way Sunehri shouted, I thought for a moment Brad Pitt arrived.😛 He says good things about everybody and warns Paro that something bad is going to happen in Paro's life. I loved what Paro said here. She said that bad things happen in everybody's life. Today, he got saved by the burning of the sabzi but next time, I do see Major pouncing on him if he says something like this.😛

10) Major does bring in a gift for Paro and decides to keep it a surprise for Paro but it did turn out otherwise. Better luck next time.😊 I totally agree with you that how come people can see whatever is going on inside Parud's bedroom? Mr. Nice had a clear view and that too without any binoculars.

11) Super-duper moment - I loved how Major grabbed Paro from behind and told her that she doesn't look good when she makes a face, he can't sing or play or he doesn't know the art of pacifying?😛 Loved what Paro said here "Your moustache, your stubble, and your talking eyes do the trick for me". Agreed Bai Sa.😛 I loved how Paro hugged Major which was from the front finally. That was the moment of the day. 😛Major loved it and we loved it. 😉 How cute was when she asked for the gift?

12) Major asks her to wear the saree and Paro is so shocked after looking at the saree and says that it is meant for widows. Loved how Major assured her and tells her not to get scared.😊

13) Taandav moment- It doesn't take long for Major to figure out who was behind all this and Shantanu got his first round of mukkas today.😊 He is in for more because it won't take much for him to figure out why he is doing this.😊 Today, Paro saved Mr. Nice but not for long. He is in for bigger round of mukkkas.😛

14) The voicemail turned in at the right time today but hoping that Parud can break the myth on this one.😊

It was a gripping episode and I chose "Test" as the acrostic for today since Shantanu has thrown a challenge and Parud are really on testing ground here.

T- Tactful (Can Parud be on their toes all the time about Shantanu?)😊

E- Empowering (Can Parud guess his real intentions?)😊

S-Sharp eyed( Can Parud keep their eyes open on this one?)😛

T- Together( Can Parud survive this factor and stay together?)😛

I think Parud can survive and they will survive the factor called Shantanu. However, I do agree that he is more vicious than Laila but I have full confidence in Parud on this one.😊

Brilliant acting by Ashish and Sanny and they were bang on expressions today. I really wanted to see Paro smile before the end of the episode and she did smile thankfully.😛

Hey Diya. My first post on this thread. New to the forum.

Loved todays episode. It had a mix of everything from romance, nokjhoks, fun elements and conspiracy as well. Parud moments were uber cute and like u say Rudra pacifying Paro is so cute to watch. Hopefully CV's do give us such moments of Parud in the coming episode

Shanthunu is very cunning and is playing with Rudra's weaknesses of which the top most would be his anger. Hopefully Paro acts saviour and manages him like she does in the precap cos she is the only one who can cool down hot major saab. I

The best part of the epi for me was Shanthunu flirting with mother and daughter and mostly Mohini. Her expressions were bang on.😆

A very nice track unfolded with loads of potential. Hoping the CV's give it the right direction and we get such and better episodes to analyse in the coming future.

Diya, was waiting for your post. Thank you for starting it here again and thank you to Hope, Tennessean and UltimateRudra too for joining in. Copying pasting my thoughts from another thread.

Interesting episode and Parud and their relationship was centerstage again. Shantanu is trying to create tensions for the couple. He knows how volatile Rudra is and hitting on everything which matters to him the most, his job, his wife and most importantly his confidence of being the protector.

The last voicemail was quite a surprise to me...thought it will be left to Paro again to beseech Rudra to trust, but the message made it interesting and keeps us wondering how Parud will get to know of Shantanu (yes, hoping fervently they become a team in due course to vanquish the new villain this time). The first incident of catching the wrong person, along with voicemail will now further deflect suspicion from Shantanu and VK Singh's warning tomorrow will bolster his position in the eyes of the family. Paro now has to keep Rudra from falling apart and give him strength and calm to think straight.

Each character has remained true to their nature, but I want slow realization to happen on part of other Ranawats too that everything does not add up with Shantanu, especially Paro, Mythali, Mohini and Danveer, don't want CVs to leave the entire burden on Rudra to carry. Mohini already was a bit miffed but will she fall for flattery?
