So, there has been some speculation on the forum stating that it's possible that Raman has a plan and the reason he is doing this is not just to help Adi and Shagun.
I think this very well might be so. Phatak is the lawyer helping Shagun, this makes it extremely easy for Raman to turn against her when necessary. What if he tries to get Shagun to go to jail for Adi's mistake?

Why not? If Raman is able to convince Adi that Ishita is not as bad as he's made her out to be and he realizes she's truly very kind, then it's possible he will realize Shagun was wrong. Then bye bye Shagun.
I guess it's hard to digest, but it's an Ekta Kapoor serial, ANYTHING can happen. I repeat, ANYTHING can happen. So, I guess we'll just have to wait and watch and digest what ever Ekta madam feeds us.
