Disgusted with Tauji and Future direction of serial

Guys, it seems that the show is headed for a new low!

I was shocked and disgusted at Tauji today when he said he didn't want Urmi to stop caring for Samrat and their marriage! He even said that he will have to do something to make Urmi care for Samrat again.

How DISGUSTING can Tauji be??? So far, I thought he was positive and was going to be Urmi's savior but I was totally wrong! The SOB abused Urmi years in the name of marriage, constantly cheats on her, beat her up brutally and instead of feeling sorry, said that he actually wants to beat her up even more and make her a handicap and this man wants Urmi to save her marriage and continue to love SamRAT???

I guess it's clear where the show is headed now - Tauji is the one who arranged the hit and run on Samrat. Now Samrat will be bedridden and Urmi's heart will melt!

I guess it's time I stop watching this sick show! Zee is not using the show to give good messages to society, Nope! Zee only want TRPs and doesn't give a damn if that's at the cost of giving WRONG messages to society!

I agree, Tauji is as useless as the rest of those moronic family members. I could not believe when he stated that both Urmi and Samrat were at fault for all the mishaps when he was the one who instigated Urmi to go to dance classes, keep it from Samrat and even not to forgive Samrat after the beatings. What a hypocrite budda. I would have expected him to slap Samrat black and blue after seeing Urmi's wounds but the man even kept mum after Samrat said that the beatings for Urmi were not enough. What a DISGUSTINGLY SICK FAMILY (even Devil seems like saints comparitively)

I have given up when urmi withdrew the complaint and when she stopped the protest march.

I m with urmi as in reality it happens..wxactly this happens women are mostly forced to take their complaints bak

This is reality. And not only in India it happens everywhere. What happ with Rihanna. All the protests and support for her went in the drain when she forgave and accepted the guy back. So women tend to forgive and give chances again and again. And after all it's drama serial.
If ppl want something else then they can watch documentary videos.

These serials are meant for many ladies in India who enjoy. Even my mom and sister love the show.

If this happens in reality then why glorify it? The message they are passing is "Go ahead and beat up your wife because her idiot relatives will pressure her to forgive you anyways so next time you can beat her up more or even make her handicapped"

Had they shown that Urmi & Tauji make sure that Samrat is punished then the women in so called real cases would learn, feel stronger and make right decision. If they showed Urmi's family support their daughter, people like Samrat will not be as daring.

Are they going to learn after Samrat ends up killing Urmi? I knew a distant relative in the same situation and after constant no support from her family, the woman was brutally murdered by her abusive husband.

I couldn't agree more! Especially when she held his hand and led him thru the crowd safely! Totally given up on this show. I hope it's shut down and a better serial started in its place.

Shabana, I agree that this happens in real life. However, as Suresh pointed out, by showing on International television how a bad guy keeps abusing his wife and still manages to not only live freely but also continues to receive love and dedication from his wife, it sends a wrong message to the audience.

Social media has a responsibility when showing the harsh "realities" of life! When they show abuse, it's also their moral responsibility to immediately follow it with the right message to society - by keeping Samrat in jail, by making Urmi walk out on him, by his entire family deserting him, etc etc. If media shows this, it will discourage real people from abusing their wives. What this show is portraying currently will only influence people to abuse their wives more and more!

I have given up now. Am v nhs stop watching.
