At the coffee shop : "Ashok, sorry to ask, but you said that Shagun never really loved you right? So why the sudden interest in Raman? Why right now? I don't understand what is going through her mind."

"Ishita, I'm pretty sure no one knows what goes through her mind. She loves to play mind games. Since Raman is protecting her, she must feel like they're back at their first days. And now that Raman is rich, she propably wants to go back to him."

Ishita is devastated "Raman is protecting her from going to jail but she deserves it! I can understand Raman wants to protect her but the fact that he didn't tell me that she was the culprit. It's beyond me... All this time, my family and I were in the unknown, all because Raman was protecting Shagun. We trusted him so much." She has tears in his eyes again.

Ashok says "Ishita... To tell you the truth..." Ishita is tensed, she looks at him intensely "Ishita, I think that Shagun is not the culprit." Ishita is shocked. Ashok ads " I've overheard a conversation between Adi and Shagun; it seems that Shagun was only on the passenger sit while Adi was the one driving."

Ishita mouth falls opens. "But Raman..."

"I think that shagun twisted the truth to get Raman protect her. If she had told that adi was the culprit. Raman would have taken him from her, on the argument that she gives him a bad education. Adi is only 12 years old, he could have hurt himself badly driving this big car. But with her lies, she got him protecting her against the world." He pauses "I've been thinking, maybe Raman is doing all of this for adi's sake. He wouldn't want the mother of his son to go to jail..."

"I don't care what the reason is. He still decided to put Shagun's safety over truth and justice. He lied to me, to his family and my family too. He broke my trust over and over again. It's just not fair!"

"I can't send Shagun to jail as I have no proof that she did the accident or not. She never told me anything about the accident, except that we needed to hide the car because an accident happened. But I can make her apologize to your mother in front of everyone for what she did."

"But how would you do this?"

"I, too, have my own tricks. Don't worry about it!"

"But... why would you do this for me? We're not even friends."

"I would have protected Shagun if she had asked me, but she asked Raman instead, so now it's not my problem whatever happens to her..."

Ishita's phones rings, it's Mrs Bhalla who asks if she can bring milk on her way back. Ishita says she will and told ashok she needs to go now. They both had a really pleasant time and ishita is very happy that Ashok is willing to help her. Ashok says "that's nothing Ishita. And to be honest, if I had learnt she had run over my mother, I wouldn't let her go that easily either"

Back at home, Raman and Ishita ignore each other. Ishita is mad at him for all that happened and Raman feels too guilty to try to talk to her. Ishita after dinner says that tonight she will sleep at the Iyers. As everyone knows the situation between her and raman, no one prevents her from doing so. Raman knows that he can't tell her anything right now so he doesn't object either.

When Ashok comes home at night, he sees shagun on the sofa, pampering herself. He feels disgusted to see her without any weight on her shoulders. She is lying and manipulating so many people but she still manages to love herself and to be content with herself. He brought her a glass of wine. She smiles at him, thinking it's her right to be served like a queen. Ashok says "Good thing you're taking care of your looks. Tomorrow you'll meet a whole lot of people and you better look your best." Ashok goes to take a glass of wine for himself. Shagun is excited; she thinks they will go at a party. "Where are we going tomorrow Ashok?" Ashok says "To the Iyers and Bhallas' building." He sits beside her on the sofa. "Why would I want to go there Ashok? Are you stupid?"

"Unfortunately for you, I'm not. Listen, I don't want to talk with you for hours so I will make it short : tomorrow, you're going to apologize in front of the whole bhalla and iyer family for hiding the truth behind the accident." Shagun is madly angry "I will never do that Ashok. You can forget about it."

"Well Shagun baby, you can either do what I say or I can tell everything to the cops. Adi will probably not go to jail because he's just a kid. But you, you will." "Why would I go to jail ?! I didn't even do the accident!" Ashok laughs "You're right, but you and me, we lied to the police to hide the real culprit, and that's a crime you know?" "Well if I'm going to jail, so are you! We were two playing this game!!" "I know darling, I know. But I will pay my bail and get out as soon as I'm in. But you... who will pay for you?"

"Ra... Raman will!"

"Shagun baby... You KNOW perfectly well that everything raman is doing right now, is for adi and adi only. Once you're in jail, Raman will get custody of Adi, and he will forget about you." Shagun trembles with fear and anger. She tries calling Raman.

Raman is alone in his room at night. His mind is full with ishita. He can't wait to have shagun out of danger so he can finally explain everything to ishita. He knows she will understand, he just need a little more time. He hears his phone ringing. He sees the id, it's shagun. He is about to pick up when he thinks "This shagun... why is she calling in the middle of the night. I need a break from all of this, I will call her back tomorrow" he cuts the call, switches the phone off and goes to sleep.

Shagun realizes raman cut her phone call, she tries again but she can't reach him. Ashok sees this all, gets up and leaves laughing.

In the morning, Ishita comes at the Bhalla's to help Ruhi getting ready but she doesn't say a word to Raman. He is very sad about it because he knows that what he did was wrong but he did it because he had no other choice.

He goes to work without breakfast because he doesn't see the point in eating breakfast if it's not with Ishita.

After ishita reaches her clinic, her secretary hands her the phone. She says it's a man who wants to talk to her. She picks up and realizes it's ashok.

"Ishita? It's me ashok. Sorry I'm calling you at your clinic. I wanted to tell you that Shagun and I will come at your house at 1pm. Is that okay with you?"

"It will do just fine. Thank you ashok. Thank you so much!"

"Don't worry about it. See you there."

After Ashok hangs up he realizes Shagun was listening to his conversation. She is trembling with anger "So this is why you doing it? You're on this behenji's side now? What is it Ashok? Do you get off on stealing all of Raman's women? First me, now this cow?"

"Shagun!" Ashok shouts, pointing his finger at her. "Do not provoke me this early in the morning."

Shagun is scared so she changes of attitude "Well, anyways I'm not going today. I don't care what you say or do, I'm not going to apologize to anyone." She starts leaving but ashok grips her arm. "If you don't follow me today, you can leave this house right now. And let me remind you, we're not married, so anything you've bought with my money is still mine. I'll take the credits cards I gave you, I'll take everything you bought with my money, your mobile, your shoes, your jewelry, even your clothes and put you out on the street. Do. Not. Test. Me." There is rage in his eyes and Shagun knows he is not playing. She has tears of fear in her eyes. Ashok let her go and leaves saying "I'll pick you up at 12.30. Be ready."
