Today's episode was set in Jallore(i'm pretty sure i spelled it wrong😛), with everybody landing in the small town to rock it with the charity concert and subjecting us to some more intrigues, one very cute a-k scene, yet another attempt on Angad's life, misunderstandings, accusations, counter-accusations and then the making up after the quarrel.
The episode starts with everybody arriving in Jallore and being received by an awestruck hotel staff. (Btw. is it just me or does the new girl playing Simone look a bit spacey?) Anyways. Cut to everybody just sitting around and Kripa cutely sending Angad off to get her more coffee but that's when the organizer makes his entrance and drops the bombshell that they are shelving Josh's act because of the very high demand to see a-k performing together only. An understandable request perhaps, but this is an internationally acclaimed musical sensation that we are talking about, who very admirably came all the way to this place to perform free of cost at your invitation, could you have been more discourteous then this? However, Josh took this very sportingly and even placated an irate on his behalf Angad and all in all very graciously accepted this snub.
And now for the scene of the day, Angad and Kripa rehearsing together for the concert, causing all hearts to go a-flutter!!! Awwwwwwww!!!😳 They looked as sweet together as only a-k can manage to look. And after a very long time we got to see them dancing together on the kaisa yeh pyar hai title track. Sigh! Can we ever get enough of a-k tangoing together.😃😉
Cut to Josh along with Prithvi and Simone (Grrrr!!!) watching the rehearsal and suddenly Josh going that Angad should make a more dramatic entrance and holding a hurried, whispered conversation with the choreographer in this regard.
And both Angad and Josh have certainly made some very dramatic entries into their concerts, so what was the point of Prithvi whining on and on about it being too dangerous.
But what I don't get is, if a larger then life superstar is being lowered into a ring of fire from a considerable distance above the ground, would it be too much to ask for, that somebody actually stand by the rope that's supporting the whole setup???????????
So there was Angad hurtling towards the ground, giving Prithvi yet another chance to play the hero and jump in to rescue Angad (talk about ingratiating yourself). Only to start with his "I told you so's!" and playing the blame game, while poor Angoo baby was lying injured on the ground with everybody looking on concernedely and Kripa hysterically screaming for a doctor.
On a lighter note, I thought it so was cute, the way Kripa kept on fidgeting with Angad's collar unconsciously in her concern while he was lying there on the couch, listening to the doctor.
Cut to the organizer going frantic when he heard about Angad being unable to perform and Josh very sweetly volunteering. At least he realizes that the rehabilitation of young widows and helping out his friend is much more important then any personal pride.
Kripa after having her ears filled by Prithvi goes barreling into Angad's dressing room and flat-out refuses to do the show, especially with Josh. Angad, sweetheart that he is, coaxes her to stop blaming Josh and to go get ready for her performance. And Kripa though she agrees, is not really soothed, as her curt "take care!" and terse exit is ample to show her displeasure at Josh and the current state of events.
The concerts was basically ripped off footage from the earlier Kripa-Josh concert, so nothing exciting there. However, in the next set, Prithvi's handiwork became apparent again in Kripa's petty reaction on hearing about Josh being booked for ten more concerts. My I choose this moment to remind you, Kripa sweetie, that these are charity concerts, with the proceeds going to a most worthy cause. Isn't that what's most important.
But, yeah, I would also like to pick a point with the organizer over here. First he wanted nothing to do with Josh. Now he's ditching Angad like this. When the simple fact of the matter is that these are two big, big stars that both have the power to draw huge crowds. So no matter who performs, they would get the same reaction; sold out concerts! So why doesn't he just book them both for different concerts, rather then running from one to the other like this. The guy never seems to have heard about the term, striking a balance.😕
Kripa was definitely royally put out by hearing about Josh being the chosen one for the concert tour and in a display of pettiness I never expected from her, marched out of the room abruptly. Leaving Angad to follow irritably.
My. My. So what should we have but a little lovers tiff today, and that too over Josh.
And you know who was responsible……………..Prithvi😡. This is one smooth character btw. He floated the idea about it all being Josh's fault and then stood by to watch the fun when Kripa became convinced of it too and went to confront Angad. Prithvi knows full well that Angad would never hear anyone leveling such accusations against Josh. And yet he certainly let her rant and rave and go confront Angad in her present mood and only after all the damage was done did he bother to come and get into his saint Prithvi mode. Hmph!!!
What gets to me is not the fact that a-k had an argument, although Kripa should not have said those things against Josh, but lets say that in her concern over Angad, she lost all sense of reason and decided to make Josh the scapegoat. But in doing so, she was only echoing what Prithvi had so firmly planted in her mind.
And that's the thing that bugs me the most; how easily Prithvi is able to pull Kripa's strings. What he says goes, as far as Kripa is concerned. Am I the only one who thinks that Kripa is dangerously under Prithvi's influence?
Really. When he said it was Josh's fault; Kripa went about accusing him, getting Angad all riled up and when he came and acted all holier than thou, she went running to apologize. This is just one instance, but Prithvi is going to do it again and again. as queenkumar so correctly said, Prithvi is playing mindgames with a-k😡
And would somebody please explain to me why Prithvi is forever following Kripa around??? When Angad was hurt, rather then telling her to go to him, he was standing there filling her head with stupid ideas and again when a-k had the argument, he was to be found lurking about somewhere.
So finally, at least Kripa came to her senses and went to where Josh was comforting a visibly disturbed Angad and being the complete sweetheart that he is, making excuses for Kripa behavior. Anyhow, Kripa apologized prettily to both of them so that was all right then. But a-k still appeared a little stiff around each other and it was only Joshie baby who broke the ice by going all like, "now don't just stand there. Kiss and make up!!!"
Awwwwwwwwwww!!! I'm telling you, I'm thoroughly going to miss Josh's character.
Such a sweet scene!!!!!😛 Now if only it wasn't for these pesky video equipped cell phones. So who do you think that was, Simone or Prithvi? Although, I'm sure both are in league with Karthik. And even if Prithvi isn't in alliance with Karthik, they both most certainly do want the same thing. And since that thing is in such direct contrast to what we want that I'm not even going to ponder on it further🤢. Anyways, I'm guessing it must be Simone, because they must need to show some reason for her being there and apart from the carrying out of these devious schemes, her presence is completely superfluous.
Although, everything aside, the thing I just don't get is how those photographs can set off demonstrations and an insurgency in the town. Because really, I fail to see what the "cheap" part was. All they showed was Angad kissing Kripa on her forehead, for God sake's, and a-k standing together in their classic pose, with Kripa tucked somewhere under Angad's chin😳. Okay, so let's say that that does offend somebody's sensibilities, but a-k have already announced to all and sundry that they are getting married (sigh! How I wish!!!), so its not as if they are flaunting some sleazy affair or something?????????
I mean, if somebody showed me those photographs, I'd probably be too busy admiring the fact that they made such a cute couple, who are technically engaged as well, (well a declaration of intent was made publicly anyway, right?) So what's the big fuss all about??????
Lol. All we should be concerned with, I guess, is the purported "dramatic" episode that we are going to be treated to tomorrow.
