Am I the only one who enjoyed CE, Wanted, Dabangg, Rowdy Rathore etc on this forum. I've noticed everyone bashing such movies, hey they may be illogical and unrealistic but they entertained me.

I see people bashing srk for supposedly signing another Rohit movie, but why wouldn't he? Rohit gave him his biggest hit.

Art cinema etc may get you critical acclaim from half a dozen of people but it doesn't get the cash registers ringing!

Films are mainly made for entertainment and nothing else!

I do enjoy masala films like Singham and Ra.One and most Salman films. Not a fan of most Rohit's films including CE. I did like Golmaal Returns though.

Me me me me...I think the masala genre is the best genre ever,...
Who dosent love action, romance, comedy, songs, dance, emotion everything stuffed into one big happy package?

I feel indian films should embrace this genre wholeheartedly rather than desperately try and be "like Hollywood"...masala films are the most entertaining IMO...

I think that's quite a parochial way of viewing things and segregating films. I find some "art movies" just as entertaining as the masala movies. I enjoyed watching Andaz Apna Apna Hera Pheri just as much as I enjoyed watching Lootera and Dhobi Ghat. It should be left up to individual people as to what they consider entertaining. I find all genres entertaining if they resonate with me.

I thought masala meant romance. ( Sorry I grew up in Australia so I am not familiar with this lingo ).
Anyways. To be honest I loved them when I was younger but as I grew up I started to hate them. Same being said I can not watch these very serious movies like Ek VIllian, Highway, Lootera. I need to have a break with a comedy movie
