Part 2

Next evening Astha was waiting for him in the library as he promised to be there on time but got a little late and thats why astha was still there in the college helping him...despite the clock striking 9:00pm...

She was repeatedly glancing the clock while dictating him the answers...

Shlok noticed it tooo...but for him his work was more important at the moment...
Astha was searching next answer for him when her phone rang...

It was avdhoot on the otherside...who was worried for her being late...

Astha informed her father that she is helping her friend in studies and will be home in one hour or two...

After completing with the assignment as astha was about to leave...shlok asked her to come with him...

Shlok:Astha come ...i will leave you home in my car...
Astha:No its ok ..i can go myself...

Shlok insisted again ...its quite late and this time you will not get any taxi...so ...
Astha:sorry but i really like to walk...and my home is not tooo far...

Shlok:Ok then in that case can i accompany you in your walk????...

Astha finally agreed ...and both walked to astha's home while talking about the insignificant things in life...

Though shlok was never interested in astha ...and even now he was not but his view about her changed in these two evenings ...she was not that weird and boring as he used to think about her...infact her style to approach even little things was quite interesting and different...

He was not sure that what he felt but definitely it was something good that he really liked her company...

On the way astha stopped to eat ice-cream...she offered him tooo...at first he refused but on her insisting again and again he took one...no one could believe that the arrogant and rude shlok agnihotri was eating the ice-cream like kids...the ice-cream was covering corners of his mouth and moustaches...

Astha gently smiled and then removed the ice-cream from his mouth and moustaches with her handerchief...

For a very brief second he was lost in her innocence and sweetness...but the very next moment he made her mind understand to ignore this mere attraction...while astha was least affected by him...

On reaching home she wished him good night...
Shlok wished her tooo...

Then they started moving in opposite directions when astha called his name...
Astha:Shlok...your assignment...

He turned to receive his assignment which was left in astha's book...

And then he remained standing there for some minutes without saying anything...

Astha:You want to say something...

He nodded in yes...

Hurry up shlok...say it...he thought to himself...

Astha smiled...leave it shlok...''Thank you'' is out of your dictionary...so don't even try it...

Shlok chuckled...i haven't thanked anybody in my life...but you helped me in my bad time...so i want to say it to you...

Astha:Ok then ...she folded her arms and started waiting for him to say thank you...

Five minutes passed and he was still trying to say it...

Shlok:Its really not happening...he made a puppy face...

Astha:its ok shlok...you thought of saying it thats enough...your ego will never allow you this...so better you leave...its getting really late now...

But she just took few steps when shlok hold her hand and came infront to face her...

She was staring him in confusion...but then she was really left surprised when he finally spoke...thank you astha...with a slight hesitation and then he sighed in relief...remarking...so look miss astha i finally did it...don't try to challenge me ever...he smirked...

Astha smiled again...you are weird...you thanked me thinking its a challenge for you...

Shlok:She called me weird ...but this is what i use to call her...he muttered while still holding her hand...

Astha softly said...mr. shlok if you are done now...would you like to leave my hand...and this is when he realized that he was holding her hand for the last few minutes...

Her hand was so soft and warm ...he felt while leaving her hand gently and then without saying anything they moved to their destinations...

Next day he submitted his assignment on time making the principal shocked...
I don't believe that u have made this...someone else must have done ur work????...principal asked...

Shlok:If u have doubts...u can check my handwriting and i can tell you all the answers...

Astha was really a good teacher he made him understand all the topics so well that he was crystal clear about every single topic that even principal left surprised at this...

Principal:This time you saved yourself but only a single mistake from your side and you will be out of this college...

Shlok came close to his face...winked...and said...we will see...
And the principal left the place in anger...

His friends were also surprised that how he managed to complete the task...and he only said...nothing is impossible for shlok agnihotri...

Akash:By the way where were you last night...we went for movie????...

Shlok hide that he was with astha as according to him mention of astha's name will embrace him infront of all his friends...

He lied that he was with his dad...

Next day their teacher shraddha announced that there is going to be a college function in next two weeks to raise funds for poor and orphan childs and families...the same function for which astha was selling tickets...

Teacher also informed the students further that she will start selecting the students for different items after class and its must for all to come and participate...especially shlok you...as its order from principal...

Shlok punched on the chair...oh shit ...that baldu is really driving me mad now...but he was having no other option except to go their for audition...

Most of the students were selected in different categories and now selection for the play was going on...

A simple girl like astha was the demand of female lead role so she was selected...but selection for male lead was still on...

Shlok was tooo worst in delivering the lines that he was rejected in the first chance still he was happy that escaped all that rubbish but his bad luck that the principal by chance came during the audition and intentionally asked the teacher to select shlok as the lead with a warning that if any of shlok's friend tried to help him they will be out from college ...

Shlok wanted to kill him right there...

Throwing water...i mean throwing muddy water on someone is not a crime that he is trying to sue me...shlok muttered before leaving the place...

He was little upset as besides bad acting skills his dialogue delivery was worst ...like he is reading some news on tv...

He was not allowed to access his friends for help...and now the only option again was astha as she was the female lead tooo...

After college when all his friends left...he went to astha and asked her to help him again...

Astha:But principal sir wants u to do this urself now...

Shlok:Astha you don't understand...that baldu...oops i mean principal wants to expel me for personal reasons...he wants to humiliate me publically...please help me...he hold her hand saying i haven't requested anyone before...you are the first person whom i am requesting...please...

Astha:Ok ...but my condition is still same..like last time...

Shlok:Ok i promise again that i will never flirt with you ...now done...

Astha:then i will see you daily here after classes...

Shlok:No no no..not here...

Astha:But why...Any problem????...

Shlok:Yeah... i don't want principal to know about this ...can we practice at your home???...if you don't mind...

Astha thought for a while and then spoke...ok fine you can come...but be on time...

Shlok:yeah don't worry...i will be there at 7:00pm...

Precap:

Astha asked him that if he will still come today for practice as he is not in mood...
Shlok was sitting with all his friends...so he ignored her saying...i will come to your home...only in your dreams ...not in reality...

She gave a faint smile and said ok...and left the place...
Shlok felt that what he done with her was not right...
