Sanyukta opened her eyes to pallor, to gigantic beeping machines and nasty smell,,,
But all this was secondary to the way she was feeling ,,.., totally anemic.. and sore...
her head was feeling cumbrous because of the interminable dozes of heavy drugs...
she couldn't feel her arm...
'AM I DEAD' She wondered and tried to move her left hand...
'OUCH SHIT!!' the IV was pricking her ...
'WHAT COULD RANDHIR BE DOING RIGHT NOW' the first thing which crossed her mind...
'COULD HE STILL BE WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND ??' she pondered...
sanyukta tried to move her right hand and froze , almost immediately...
she had felt this before.
she had felt this touch before.
she could feel his fingers knotted with hers.
could major blood loss lead to hallucinations ?
she fervently hoped not!
there was nothing on the earth what sanyukta craved more , than seeing him..
he was the only cure to her fatigue . NO amount of coconut water, NO amount of blood , NO amount of morphine could treat her , as much as seeing him, would ...
SANYUKTA HELD HER BREATH ANd TURNED right..
there he was!
sleeping, he had dozed off in a awkward position...
her heart gave a thumpety-thump seeing him...
she was trying to believe that randhir had actually stayed the whole night , for her, with her...
she couldn't stop the tears which were brimming her eyes...
not wanting to disturb him , she tried to sit...
a little movement and randhir snagged up..
he never wanted to sleep in the first place, he had just succumbed to dullness somewhere in the wee hours ...
"SANYUKTA" came out impulsively... of course , that was what his life was all about!
how shit-headed and unmediated, it was off him, to have said all those immensly heart pricking words...
they just stared at each other , not quite sure how to react...
he left her hand , immediately disappointing sanyukta...
<3 Seeing sanyukta lying unconscious, in a pool of blood, due to the barbaric way , in which she sliced her wrist, not once , but thrice, to ultimately kill herself, because of him , had been his biggest defeat!
If not anything,it had been her mulish and arrongant nature , which had him lovestruck...
knowing that HE of everyone else, in her life, was the reason of her'felo-de-se' was the biggest sin of his existence...
and suddenly, he started doubting.
doubting himself.
doubting his love.
doubting his existence.
doubting his future, with her.
doubting if he was ever meant for her ?
if his love was the acumen of her self-destruction...
wasnt this love just equal to hatred?
actually , more than that!
you dont go on suiciding for every enemy you make, do you ?

randhirs cell rang , to his immense frustration , and her prodigious disenchantment...
sanyukta clutched the bedsheet in vexation...
He pressed the ignore button..
'Why! Pick it up!!" Your girlfriend seems to be getting impatient!!" She cursed waspishly...
Randhir was in no mood to fight with her...but her derision just gave him an idea..
He was , nonetheless , leaving,..but he decided to bring the fighter in her back...
This was one befalling...
''SHUT UP!!" He yammered, unnecessarily Loudly..,
''WHY SHOULD I' she barked right back...
His phone rang again, to his immense joy...
'Great timing' he meantally patted the person on the other line..
Sanyukta was getting turbulent by the ticking second...
'SEE!! WhY DONT YOU JUST LEAVE!!! JUST GOO!
WHERE IS SHE? macD? CCD? oh wait!
YOU BOTH MUST HAVE HAD BOOKED A MOTEL OVERNIGHT!!" she just screeched whatever she could make out at that point of time...
The monitor counting her pulse started beeping a bit loudly , indicating a sudden increase of her heart beats...
''YOU ARE CROSSING YOUR EFFING LIMITS SANYUKTA!!"
Her eyes widened
''Limits?! Hah! I had crossed my limits the day I fell for you , I had crossed my limits the day I decided you meant something to me...
I had crossed my limits THAT FATEFUL DAY WHEN I DECIDED TO COMMIT SUICIDe DUE TO A PERSON LIKE YOU!
gawd! How weak, pathetic , and cowardly of me!
She switched to murmuring to herself ... As realization dawned upon her..
Randhir winced upon hearing such stuff about him from her but this was what he was betting on wasnt he?
He wanted this! He was happy...
He would leave...
'My work is done sanyukta...
Take good care of yourself...'' He whispered softly and with a final glance he staggered towards the door...
Meanwhile sanyukta's face was an epitome of a bunch of emotions,..
Realization, repentance ,hurt, pride, all switching each other in seconds...
Was this how much he loved her//?
'DON'T GO!"
MEAN IT?"he turned back... ''I THINK I DO''
''My girlfriend is waiting...' He mocked her..
''Fine go, sorry...''she looked genuinely hurt...
''You don't get it ,,do you?? He sounded frustrated...
'I don't want to..."
''You think I can Even imagine of leaving you here and just go and meet someone!?" Now he was hurt...
'I don't know...'
''YOU ARE IMMPOSIBLE!!" he yelled..
''You ARE EGREGIOUS!!" She retorted..
''You are A PAIN IN THE ASS!"
''YOU ARE INSUFFERABLE!"
''I HATE YOU!!"
'I HATE YOU MORE!"
''STILL,, I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT YOU"
''I DONT WANT TO LIVE WITHOUT YOU, SEE?!" she said, pointing towards the IV...
'YOU ARE STUPID!'
'YOU ARE DUMB!!"
''WHY CANT YOU STOP ANSWERING ME!"
''WHY SHOULD I!?"
''So YOU ARE DETERMINED TO FIGHT ME?!"
'TILL MY LAST BREATH!!"
''THEN BREATHE YOUR LAST WITH ME!"
''POSITIVE!''
'I LOVE YOU!"
'I LOVE YOU MORE ,YOU MCP'' she growled...
And abruptly , there was complete silence...after what felt like a debate...
Color filled her cheeks, she couldn't even run away,,,
Randhir was taking slow but confident , smirking steps towards her...
Her heart started into a sprint...
Sanyukta was looking everywhere, except him...
He came close.
Dangerously close.
His essence pervaded her senses...
She closed her eyes...
After , what felt ,as the most agonizing wait of her life...
Sanyukta felt his lips pressing on hers...
She was lost.
Lost in that sinfully rapturous feeling..,
The machine beeped maniacally...
And he pulled back ...
Randhir glared at the pulse machine and then at sanyukta,..
And burst out laughing.,,,
''How embarrassing !!" She muttered,..
He kept on laughing..,
''Hogya tumhara!?" She snapped grumpily,,,
''This happens whenever I come near you...
I got the proof today''
'Randhiiir!" She groaned..
'How cute!"
''Randhir! Just shut up n kiss me, will you?!"
He didn't have to be told twice...
Randhir just knotted his hands in her hair and brushed his lips against her..again and again...and then his mouth settled possessively on hers, hard, demanding , no longer light and tentative...
She slipped her right arm up to wrap it around his neck and hold him...
His tongue went deep, thrusting over hers, creating an intimacy she hadn't experienced ever...
Sanyukta felt like she was drowning...going deeper by the second...
Amidst the asphyxiation , she heard a faint voice , promising her a forever...

She calls me whenever she can...and we have a word of the day...
Usually she calls me at awkward times...
