Does Raman know that Adi did the accident? he does not. So I don't think we can judge him based on the knowledge he is supposed to have that Adi did the accident. He thinks Shagun did the accident and is doing this so that Adi does not grow up without a mother. It is easier for a third person have a holier than thou attitude and say if I was in his situation i would have definitely reported her to cops and stuff. But when you are actually in that situation we all act different. He obviously knows what he is doing is wrong. That is the most important thing.

Firstly Raman does not know that Adi is the culprit here. We've

Also what does Raman feel guilty about? Nor did he abandon his son or stop caring for him either. Yeah his actions here are being dictated by what he has been led to believe is true by Shagun.

Lastly why do you think he is shallow? To date this man has only been swayed by one woman's looks and those are of his wife. From the outset he has shown over and over that he is not going to be taken advantage by the 'charms' of a woman. Please remember back to the initial scene where he plays along at being seduced. He showed that woman the door and he will show Shagun the door too. Also his wife has not had to reduce herself to 'flimsy' blouses to get his attention.

He did not force Ruhi to go to the picnic. He didn't even ask Ruhi to go to picnic. Ishita was the one that convinced her because even according to her Raman asking Ruhi to go to picnic is not wrong.

I don't think Raman is shallow. Shagun has always dressed like that and did we ever see Raman checking Shagun out the way he has checked Ishita out during the sangeet and when they were locked down and she wore the blue dress. Raman never checked Shagun out regardless of her clothes and never made a move with her.

Why is Raman saving Shagun it's for Adi right ..do u think he will act any different if he finds out it's Adi who has committed the crime?He was saving Shagun for Adi and now he will save Adi directly...

as characterless as shagun is, I don't think she was trying to impress raman and nor did he seem effected by her barely there blouse. this is just how she dresses, I don't know why people are trying to analyze this so much.
