Ek Villain changed Sidharth Malhotra's luck?

Sidharth Malhotra has marked a strong presence in the industry with all three outings he has had at the box office.

Sidharth made his debut with Student of the Year and has had a huge fan following since then. The young actor was then seen in Hasee Toh Phasee where his performance was lauded by critics and audiences.

However, it is Sidharth's last outing, Ek Villian that has got him racing ahead in his league of actors.

In Ek Villian, Sidharth is seen pushing the envelope as an actor. He is seen essaying the role of a grey character and seen doing high octane action stunts.

Ek Villain not just garnered him accolades for his performance but became a big hit at the box office. Sidharth has emerged as the biggest opener (16.5cr) of his generation.

The film crossed 16.72 crore on Friday itself (it was a working Friday, not a Holiday), and collected over Rs 50 crore in the first three days.

Sidharth has managed to achieve a great deal of success very early on in his career.

Sidharth will be seen in Dharma Productions, Warrior and Vikramaditya Motwane's, Bhavesh Joshi.
