Part 10
A Few Weeks Later
"Where are we going?" Khushi asked.
"We should probably go check on your body at the hospital" Arnav answered as his fingers quickly moved on his phone.As if the car heard him,it stopped.Khushi looked outside.They were at the hospital "Let's go" Arnav said.He got out of the car and opened her door.Khushi smiled at him and came out.Arnav smiled back and took Priya from Khushi.
The three entered the hospital and went to Khushi's room.There were a few bodyguards outside and inside the room which Khushi realized "You can get rid of them you know" she said.Arnav just shrugged.
Inside was the doctor giving Khushi a quick check up.After he finished he saw Arnav and smiled "Hello Mr.Raizada.I was hoping you would drop by"
Arnav gave him a small smile "Hello.How's Khushi doing?"
"Wonderful.She is recovering quite well.In fact I wouldn't be surprised if she all of a sudden just woke up and sat up,ready to get up on her feet"
"So does that mean she could wake up any time?"
The doctor nodded and then left.Khushi squealed in joy and hugged Arnav tightly.Arnav felt her form on him and took in her feeling.He wrapped an arm around her waist.After a few minutes,Khushi seemed to realize what she was doing and was about to pull back but Arnav's tight grip kept her stuck to him.Khushi looked up at him in surprise.
Just when she looked into his eyes,she couldn't look away.Ever since they had solved Milan's case,Khushi realized there was always something different about Arnav.His eyes? The way he spoke to her? Or the way he touched her? Khushi didn't know.She stared back into his eyes,an unknown feeling creeping inside her.
"Khushi" Arnav said her name huskily.Khushi hesitantly nodded "Khushi I want to tell you something.Something I have been planning to tell you for a while"
Khushi felt herself freeze in his arms.She could guess what he wanted to say but she wanted him to say it first.She wanted him to tell her he had feelings for her just as she has for him.
"Yes" Khushi said.
"Khushi...I think..or I know..I lo-"
Priya let out a cry interrupting Arnav.She had been twisting and turning in an oblivious Arnav's arms trying to get out.She liked her personal space.Being sandwiched between Arnav and Khushi was making her feel suffocated.She wriggled some more before letting out her cry.
Khushi came out of the entrance first.Arnav second.He let his arm around Khushi's waist drop.Khushi took a step back.She took Priya from Arnav and hushed her "Shh it's okay" she cooed.
Priya finally calmed down "Um let's go to a park" Arnav offered.
Khushi nodded.

Khushi put Priya on her feet on the ground when they reached the park.Priya happily walked to the sand box.She sat down on the sand and began playing with it.Khushi and Arnav sat on a nearby bench.Khushi looked at Arnav "Um...you wanted to tell me something"
Arnav nodded "Yeah" he took a deep breath and began talking "Khushi,you and I have known each other for quite a while now.I just want to tell you that in these weeks I have spent with me had made me grow feeling for you" he held her hand "Khushi I am in lo-"
Arnav stopped when he couldn't feel her hand anymore.He looked down and could only see her arm but no hand.Arnav widened his eyes and looked at her.Khushi also widened her eyes.She looked at Arnav "Arnav" she whispered his name in slight fear and pain.She bit her lip "I don't feel so good"
"We're going to the hospital" he said.
He swooped up Priya in his arms making her drop the small bucket of sand.He put her in Khushi's arms and picked Khushi up heading straight towards the car.

Arnav quickly carried Khushi inside the hospital and went to her room.Khushi's body was in perfect shape.He looked at Khushi in his arms.He could feel her weight decrease in his arms.Her skin was slowly growing transparent "Khushi" he whispered.She didn't answer.Arnav lay her on the couch.His heart was pounding hard.He didn't know what to do.
"Arnav" Khushi whispered.Arnav nodded letting her know he was listening.Khushi smiled "I love you"
"I love you" he repeated.
"If I asked you who were you,what would you say?"
"What would you want me to say?"
"That you are my fiance"
"I am your fiance" Khushi's smile widened before she disappeared "Khushi" he whispered.He looked around but she was nowhere.
Suddenly he heard loud gasping sounds.He turned around quickly to see Khushi's body jerking.Her eyes shot open,blinking rapidly.She took a deep breath in before letting out but her breathing was becoming irregular making her hard to breath.Arnav raced to her side and held her down.He tried to calm her down.Khushi raised her wide eyes to him slightly scared "Don't worry" he whispered to her "I won't let anything happen to you" Khushi just stared at him.
Arnav pressed a button on her side.A few minutes later,the doctor and nurses came in "Please let her go Mr.Raizada" Arnav hesitated but reluctantly let her go.Khushi continued jerking the minute Arnav loosened his grip "Hold her down" the doctor said to the nurse.Just as the nurse was about to touch Khushi,Khushi went crazy.She began pushing her away.Her breathing was becoming worse as well as her state.
"She's scared.Don't touch her" Arnav said furiously,pushing the nurse away.Khushi kept her eyes stuck to Arnav.She raised her hand towards Arnav.She closed her hand into a fist and then opened it.Arnav held her hand and kissed it "Nothing will happen to you" he promised.
Khushi tightened her hold on Arnav's hold in response.The doctor was about to inject her and held her arm.Khushi felt him touch her and her heart beats accelerated.She tried pushing away "Mr.Raizada please hold her down" the doctor requested.
Arnav held her down but Khushi didn't stop struggling.She wasn't struggling to get away from Arnav's hold but from the doctor "She is scared" Arnav stated,reading her eyes.
"She is moving too much Mr.Raizada" the doctor said "She needs to be calm for this injection to work.She seems to trust you so why don't you inject her"
The doctor gave the injection to Arnav and told him where to inject.The doctor stepped away.Arnav looked at Khushi.She wasn't struggling but just staring at him wondering what he was going to do.Arnav held her arm,noting her soft skin.He bit his bottom lip as he pushed the injection inside her arm.Khushi didn't struggle or do anything.Once he pulled the injection out,Khushi closed her eyes and fell asleep.
Arnav looked at the doctor "Shall we talk in my cabin Mr.Raizada" the doctor said.Arnav nodded.

"Khushi has managed to come out of coma which is a wonderful thing but now the problem is with her brain" the doctor said.Arnav nodded "As you saw Mr.Raizada,Khushi was afraid of the nurses and m-"
"Afraid?" Arnav repeated "She went hysterical"
The doctor nodded "Yes I agree.When Khushi had her accident,she hit her head on something quite hard hence slightly hitting a part of her brain.The human brain is a complicated thing.They react differently to different things.Some times it goes into memory loss or maybe even a disorder.Khushi has a high risk of memory loss.She must have also hit another part of her brain which keeps her balanced.Like confidence.So in short she is scared of people"
"Scared of people?"
The doctor nodded "Unless she completely gets comfortable with them like she was with you"
Arnav nodded "So what can I do to make her get better"
"As her fiance you will be a major help.You probably already know who she knows and who she is comfortable with.You should try get her fear out.Confidence and your support is what she needs that will help her the most"
"What are the chances she might actually get her memory back?"
The doctor pressed his lips together "Not much actually.Chances are she just might not get her memory back at all"
Arnav frowned but nodded "Okay thank you doctor"

Arnav entered Khushi's room.He looked at the nurse who was taking care of Priya.He gestured to her that she can leave.She understood and left.Arnav looked at Khushi who was trying to sit up.Arnav reached to her in quick strides.He held her arms in a gentle but firm hold and helped her sit up.Khushi stared at him with her wide beautiful eyes.Arnav sat next to her on the bed.He held her hand and leaned towards her "How are you?" he asked.
"I am good" she said "Are you my fiance?"
Arnav was a bit taken aback from her question "Who told you that?"
"I heard the nurse talking to another nurse.She said I was lucky to have such a caring and loving fiance wait for me for two years"
Arnav smiled.Now he realized why Khushi had asked him what he would say if she didn't remember him "I guess I am something like that" He leaned more towards her that their faces were close to touching "I guess you could say we were in love" he said recalling her words "But now let's start fresh.My name is Arnav Singh Raizada...and I am your fiance"
