Honest confession...when I first saw promo of Ek Hasina Thi on TV I honestly thought Simone was miscast!
I did not think too highly of her acting abilities and definitely not ability to pull off a Negative role.
In initial episodes too I felt she was okay. Only acknowledged that she looked drop dead gorgeous for her age and for the character that she was playing.
But now in last few weeks I have been totally astounded by her performance as Sakshi Goenka! 👏
The subtle changes in her gaze, the sharp, cutting way she speaks her sarcastic lines, the tilt of her neck, her posture that instantly screams royalty whether she sits or stands...it is amazing and applause worthy.👏 Her pronouncation is so clear both in Hindi and English. Very good dialogue delivery!
Never seen a vamp who is so evil yet so classy!⭐️
No offense but it is Simone who is the "hasina" in Ek Hasina Thi for me! She overshadows everyone! Often even the men in the scenes! 😎
It is not easy to hold one's own besides an actor as talented as Ayub Khan. He has often overshadowed actors and actresses in his previous shows. But Simone matches him at every step and rather outshines him!👍🏼
You just OWN the screen as Sakshi Goenka!👏
I love the casting and concept of EHT. But now, I have no qualms in admitting I watch this show primarily for Sakshi. So smart, so calculative, so electrifying...she adds the sting and spark in every clash.👏
Hats off to creatives for creating Sakshi Goenka and to Simone Singh for breathing life into this slimy but electrifying character! It will be sheer injustice if award juries ignore her!
Such a "slime covered with sophistication" vamp is rare and unheard of on Indian telly!
