* Disclaimer: This is not a RKB bashing post! But something just wanted to vent it out to the CV team on how they are killing a such a wonderful character like RKB and taking the show on downhill.
- When I started watching the show, it was all for the nayi soch- the beautiful relationship between Ruhi and Ishita and it got me hooked on. Honestly, Raman's character did not even intrigue me in the beginning.
- But as the show progressed, the character of Raman became interesting and the way his personality , character was shown to viewers, it just grew on me. There were so many shades, complexities in this man RKB that it kept me intrigued and eventually started falling in love with his character. Must say, one of the most interesting "male" characters on indian TV created. The last time I came close to a similar character was "Dutta" of Laagi Tujhse lagan show (not sure how many of you saw it). The character of RKB had a charm in its own sense and people literally fell in love with him for what he was! (and not just his oneliners!)
- And from where the show started off, to what it became (until a few days ago)- being applauded for its unqiueness, fresh thinking, hatke from regular mill of the run soaps, and clean sweeping SPA the awards within first 6 months, it deserved every bit of it!
- But I think success has gone to the CV's head or they are wantedly killing off the character of RKB that we have started to loose trust and faith in the character and for that matter even the show!
Whats wrong creative team? Are you falling short of ideas, or just looking to get more episodes running? Or just looking for some crappy fillers ? Really? !!
Just dragging the track to an extent like this and spoiling and degrading a character like RKB is not really gonna help the show! The character of RKB has been loved sooo much that you really really have to do something extraordinary for him to redeem himself from the deep pits he was thrown into.
Even then I really wonder, if he will come to the same place in the hearts of the viewers where had risen to earlier!
CVs team- hear the voice of the viewers and put the end to the crappy track and save the character or RKB from further degrading and losing his charm!
A disappointed fan of RKB!
