I think the key is more to pick newer songs...both the slow songs u mentioned are quite old songs...and smita seems more comfortable with them...becoz she has them well-rehearsed....but the majority of the viewers of the show and also the ppl who actually vote are all teenagers and ppl below 25..or so...so she has to target them and perform to their satisfaction...then thr'll be an upswing...and also she needs to work a bit on stage presence ....if she does this she m8 have better chances...😊

yeaa..i agree she has to get more confidence....but the problem i have with smita blaming everything on her looks is tht..by saying tht i'm not getting any votes coz of my looks she's saying first tht she's a perfect singer and since thr can be nothing wrong with my singing, it must be my looks...and secondly she's also insulting the other singers with her..becoz she's insinuating tht they are not as good as her but becoz they look better they get votes...and i disagree on both counts...🤢

smita should ensure to sing more new/famous songs that can attract audience....voting trend mainly include youngsters so if smita sings age old classics they would not connect to her...she can get bit more presentable....looks do not matter, its how a person present themselves...they have let her hair bit loose and make it curly and wear some light colours with cropped jeans or long skirt with sleeveless tops 😉...if she agrees to all this, she does have chances of staying till top 5...

I agree with u completely..i mean i'm in my *ahem* twenties and i can't even relate to those songs..and hw will the teen population of India relate to them....her song selection needs a big time overhaulin...😃

I thought I was the only one thinking this way .. Isn't really annoying to see her be a judge and be so openly biased about the contestants ???

anyways, yo uare right .. I think if the audience connects = audience is foot tapping or even daning = audience's votes ..

It goes same for all the contestants ...

Smita just ignore what Alisha says - she will always try to break your morale - just keep on singing good - we are always there with you

Raunaqwa, Similar views here. I am not fond of Smita and feel exactly the way I felt for Rupali in Bigg Boss. The self pity attitude put me off. I have never seen Smita jubiliant about anything. She is always a gloomy, dejected. I have never found her any rendition worth to discuss either. Had she sang that well and then said those words then it makes sense. Mediocre singing and then talking about looks? Not impressed. She is nowhere near Deepali.
