After Parineeti, Priyanka Chopra brings cousin Barbie Handa to B-Town!

After actor Parineeti Chopra becoming a household name, another lissome cousin of Priyanka, Barbie Handa is all set to make her big Bollywood debut.

Barbie who has already made her acting debut with the Telugu film 'Prema Geema Jantha Nahi', will be making her Tamil debut in upcoming crime-comedy 'Neeyallam Nalla Varuvada' in which she has been roped in to feature in a special song.

"Barbie will be seen in a special song. It's not an item number. We have a birthday song in the film and she will be seen in it. We wanted a fresh face and she fit the bill. I saw her performance in a Telugu film and I really liked it," the film's director Nagendra was quoted saying.

After making heads turn down South, Barbie is now apparently vying for her Bollywood debut in an Anubhav Sinha film that has been named Zid, as reported by a leading tabloid.

A trained dancer, Barbie has praised her super-successful cousin Priyanka and thanked her for helping her in furthering her career. The two had even shared screen for a Dabur hair oil ad.

Interestingly, before becoming a star in Bollywood, Priyanka too tried her luck with the Tamil industry. She worked with superstar Vijay in the film 'Tamizhan'.
