I love Doing Commercial Masala Movies- Bebo

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who over the past few years has developed the image of a successful commercial film actress, says that she wouldn't mind being part of an offbeat movie but only if an exciting offer comes her way.
"Commercial films have their own charm. I love doing commercial masala films. In my career commercial films like Golmaal Returns', Bodyguard', RaOne' and others did well at the box office," Kapoor Khan told IANS.
"I think the commercial films that I did, had something for me to do in it. It is not that in these films I was just there for the heck of it. I enjoy doing commercial films. I think I am the most commercial heroine," she said.
However, she admits loving being a part of commercial flicks. "I will do that (parallel or off beat cinema), but I won't do it just for the heck of it. I have been one of the initial actresses to do films like Dev', Chameli', Omkara' and others," the actress said.
"At this stage I will not do a film like that because I have done too much of that. The script has to be good as I don't have anything to prove to anyone now...Till then I am happy doing commercial films," she said.
During the initial days of her career, Kapoor Khan had been part of few off-beat movies as he needed herself to be grooved as an artist. "I come from a family where I wanted to prove myself as an actress. I was 21 when I played the role of a prostitute in Chameli' and then again played it in Talaash'," she said.
Kapoor Khan will be next seen in Rohit Shetty's Singham Returns' also starring Ajay Devgn.

It's unfair to compare her to other actors



While Kareena Kapoor Khan may not be in the race for the top heroine anymore, she seems to be content with her place in the film industry. In recent times, the actress's fans have voiced their disappointment in her role selection but the 33-year-old actress seems to be more than happy with how things are going for her at the moment. She feels every actor has their own space in the industry and there is no need to compare her career with that of anyone else.
"I feel each and every actor is different. For example, I can never do The Dirty Picture' (2011). I don't have that courage and boldness but for me it's a challenge to be a part of Golmaal 3' (2010) and still have a great role. It's an honour for me to be a part of Singham' and that works for me. It's unfair to draw any comparisons," the actress said in a group interview, as reported by IANS.
Currently, the actress is busy working on Singham Returns', which is a sequel to director Rohit Shetty's 2011 blockbuster, Singham'. The first instalment saw Kajal Aggarwal as the lead heroine with quite a short and unchallenging role. However, the unit of Singham Returns' claims that Kapoor Khan has been given a meatier part than Aggarwal was.

Never been a Kareena fan. I have only enjoyed her acting in a couple of movies, none listed above. Other than that she's pretty below par for me.

I just want her to sign some good movies now. That's all I ask. Movies which have good role for her. Please sign some good movies soon.

But the way articles Coming ; she is not getting offers at all I think

She lost Ashu HR movie too ; so she is stressing on masala movies now

She is lazy actress who wasted her talent 😡

She generates buzz and interest than any of the newer actresses even now

I really dont know why directors cant cast her in movies with the younger lot..She still looks young for her age and ofcourse act the pants out of many top female heroines.

No I think she's getting offers, that's why she rejected so many movies. She rejected drugs rani Singh, that AB sr farhan movie, Singh is biling, and maybe ashu hr movie.

I mean who would reject so many movies if they were not getting offers, I think she's getting offers but she's thinking as of what to chose and what not to chose

She is getting offers then good for bebo
