Is Shikha the protagonist or antagonist?

I think this may be my first time posting on this forum, I'm not sure, but I just caught up on the latest episodes and I wanted to comment on them. I'm going to try not to write a lot because I don't want to waste my time on such a stupid show (no offence to any fans), but I'm just annoyed at the moment and need to let my frustrations out.

both madhu and adi are power and money hungry people who use people to justify the means. both are responsible for torturing shikha and ripping her and her family apart. they both tried to kill her, tried to kill her family and even her son was not spared. all of this was for money.

they ruined many lives and for that it is unforgivable and deserve no mercy.

why should shikha have huminity when the duo didnt think twice about what would happen to shikha and her family when the plan ended? or how they humiliated her in court and what not.

these things are not easily forgotten.

Some where, even I feel, they r going over board.

I missed some episodes, so someone please clear this for me: why is Shikha marrying Aditya? Why can't she just expose Aditya? He'll lose all his wealth, the Jaggarnath name, and Shikha will get her son back. Why is it that Shikha feels she can only get her son back if she gets married to Aditya?

Also, am I the only one who hates Shikha with a passion now? I think somewhere along the road she is losing sense of who she really is. I get that Madhu and Aditya hurt her, but Shikha herself is stooping so low...she is slowly torturing Madhu and I understand revenge but slow torture does not sit right with me. Mentally challenged people are being made a mockery of with the way Madhu is being portrayed and handled.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Why the hell are you dragging out your revenge? You have broken Madhu's and Aditya's marriage, and if you expose Aditya now he will also lose his last name and all his fame and wealth...what more do you want? Your son will be given back to you when everyone knows the truth. So why all this drama? I know the serial has to drag, but I would rather see parallel tracks with the side characters who BY THE WAY are so wasted right now! They are statues with no real stories of their own.

Usually in revenge dramas the female lead takes revenge from certain people and it feels right because those certain people keep doing horrendous things, and the female lead manages to maintain her humanity despite her hate and revenge. In this show Shikha has lost her humanity...I really do not see it in her. Hate and revenge has consumed her and honestly when I watch the show I hope for her downfall. And Madhu hasn't really done anything horrendous ever since she used and betrayed Shikha, so it's difficult for me to hate her or support Shikha's torture on her. In fact, I relate to Madhu because she is a woman who has been cheated on - it's irrelevant that she let her husband marry and bed another woman...that was a calculated plan and was executed willingly. Over here Madhu has been betrayed by Aditya just like Shikha was betrayed by Sameer and honestly I think that's punishment enough for her. I don't like seeing Shikha torture her like this, throwing her in a mental hospital and all that crap. I sympathized with Shikha in the beginning when she was cheated on but now I can't relate to her because she is stooping too low in her thirst for revenge.

So in conclusion, Madhu and Aditya deserve punishment for their actions, but not like this, I can't stand this slow torture, falsely labelling Madhu as mentally ill, etc. In my eyes it makes Shikha JUST AS BAD as Madhu and Aditya. In her desire for revenge she has lost the human in her, and I don't see any real reasons to support her anymore.

Exactly, I have been feeling the same these days... It all could have ended by exposing Adi and Madhu and getting her child back (DNA still speaks truth). But not sure where whole revenge drama is going!! It is frustrating that Shikha is acting just as bad as Aditya and Madhu... Aditya did it for heir and money and shikha is doing it for her son and revenge.

Trying to burn Madhu's saree down, forcing her wrong pills were really mean acts. Agreed the former was mean to her but it does not mean you stoop even lower to take revenge. Expose them and make them accept their crime... Is it not enough to send them to JAIL. Will Papa Jagannath accept them after knowing their crimes... Come on CV's I think it is enough butchering of Shikha's character.

Thank you. This post is everything I've wanted to say. The only difference is that I don't sympathize with Madhu even a bit.

I do agree that Shikha is going overboard. Why is this marriage needed? I felt she could have taken Manav long ago. What's happening now is drama that's not required, and it's completely unrealistic.

I'll admit however, call me a sadist, I like Aditya and Shikha's "love story" right now. I like the couple.. sadly, the situation ruins it. 😆 I'm secretly hoping that Shikha forgive him and Aditya repent for everything he's done.
