Rajesh Khanna was a chalta phirta disaster by then! Looks so horrendous in 80s films!

Plus he had lost simplicity.

No one can match the innocence and simplicity that Anil brought to this role.

Kids needed Arun bhaiya in this film. Not Arun tauji!
