CJ to be second-time daddy

Vikas Bhalla (C J Oberoi of Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin and Arjun of Shanno Ki Shaadi) and his wife Punita are expecting their second baby.

Punita, who is Prem Chopra's second daughter, already has a six-year-old daughter Sanchi. Vikas and Punita fell in love and got married after a whirlwind romance seven years ago.

Good news comes in twos

Bhalla is thrilled to bits about being a second time papa and said that he learnt about the arrival of his second child from his wife on the way to pick up his 'other baby' — "While I was picking up my new car Automatic Sonata on July 1, Punita called to break the good news," he says.

Prem Chopra: Dadaji aur Nanaji

Bhalla's father-in-law Prem Chopra has a double reason to celebrate. His third daughter Prerna who has been married since the past five years to actor Sharman Joshi is also expecting her first baby in October. "Premji is very excited. It's a double whammy for him."

Pink or blue?

We asked Bhalla if the couple was now looking for a baby boy, as they already have a baby girl? To which the actor said, "My daughter Sanchi definitely wants a baby brother but Punita and I aren't particular about the sex of the forthcoming arrival. We want just a healthy baby. We will be happy whether it is a girl or a boy."

Vikas bana Mama

Seems like baby boom time in Bhalla's life as last week, his younger sister Pooja who has been married since five years, also delivered a baby boy who has been named Yash.

The work never stops

As his wife is gearing up for their small wonder, Vikas is gearing up for his big International project starring Salman Khan — Marigold. He also plans to cut a music album soon, for which Shaheen Iqbal will pen the lyrics and Sanjeev Shrivastava will set the tunes.
