What prevents tauji to come out openly, scold samrat and his mother, take Urmi and shaurya and report to the police?

How can he watch when samrat is beating urmi?

I am not going to watch tonight and tomorrow's episode when samrat will beat urmi and urmi will start crying

Ban such scenes of violence against women.

I do not know what I detest more. samrat's violence or Urmi's long crying face.

Yet I still detested the scene yesterday where Tauji went and instigated Samrat after Urmi exposed him - that was the trigger for the violent scene today. Tauji is equally to blame along with Samrat's mother for supporting him and encouraging him in all his evil acts.

You are right that Tauji's word instigated Samrat and so he is also to blame for not handling his explosive nephew properly. I think that Tauji does not properly understand Samrat. He was trying to tell Samrat that when you try to disrespect and discredit others, it just lowers your own character. He wanted everyone to disrespect Urmi but by trying to make that happen everyone lost respect for him instead. But all Samrat heard was "Urmi disrespected you in such a spectacular way" not "You earned disrespect for what you did to Urmi."

Essentially Samrat is not smart, subtle, or decent enough to understand Tauji's well-intentioned manipulations. And Tauji is sadly blind because he believes that Samrat has a good side that can be recovered.
