veera - "God why in the world are they not picking up the phone? Do you see the time? Its almost 7pm"armaan - "Leave them alone. Anyways Jeevika bhabhi is leaving tomorrow"
veera - "Yeah, but I made a dinner reservation at 8. And do you know how long bhai takes to get ready? Literally double than what any average girl takes"
a - "Should we go to their room then?"
veera - "Obviously. Let's go" she said holding her fiance's hand.
The two went inside the elevator and up till they finally reached the "honeymoon suite"
veera - "But seriously... why do they deserve a honeymoon suite? They've been married for like a decade now"
a - "You mean like six months"
veera - "Yeah but based on their relationship it seems they've been married forever"
As soon as they reached their room Veera knocked on the door. It barely took a second knock till the door finally opened with Jeevika stepping out all dressed with Viren right behind her.
j - "Why aren't you guys dressed? Don't we have a dinner reservation in an hour?"
veera - "We came here to remind you guys, but you're already ready"
viren - "We don't waste time you see"
veera - "Whatever thats supposed to mean"
viren - "You guys have like fifty minutes to get ready and downstairs. LEAVE" he said demanding his sister
Armaan and Veera left to go get ready and Viren and Jeevika headed downstairs to the bar.
j - "The weather is so beautiful"
v - "But you're more beautiful"
j - "Say it if you mean it... Not so dull like that"
v - "Please... Viren Vadhera and dull? You have got to be joking me"
j - "I'm not!"
v - "Okay then... Tell me one instance that was too dull for your liking?"
j - "I have ten probably, but I'll name the dullest. You want to know?"
v - "Very much"
j - "The proposal"
v - "When I asked you to be my gf?"
j - "No... When you asked me to marry you. We got home from the hospital. And of all things you were crying for your sister, yet proposing to me"
v - "Men don't cry"
j - "You're not a man" 🤣
v - "Okay fine, maybe that was a dull moment. What about all the exciting things we do? Like I fulfilled your wish on New Years"
j - "Its because I literally hand-fed you what my wish and dream was. You're creativity was 0. Execution was alright I guess" 😆
v - "You really do underestimate me huh?"
j - "At times" 😆
Both of them walked over to the bar which was right near the pool. The view from there was spectacular, nothing could beat it!
v - "What do you want to drink?"
j - "Nothing actually"
v - "Not even wine?"
j - "Nope, I'm good"
Both of them moved from the bar to the outside area enjoying the fresh breeze.
j - "Tomorrow its back to the grind again"
v - "Your work will get some attention now, besides me" 😆
j - "True! You know this was my dream job and I'm glad I achieved it, but now I'm like can I just go back to my ordinary simple job"
v - "Workaholic Jeevika feels like that?"
j - "Yeah! But I'm still excited for it now. It should be fun"
v - "Cheers to that" he said smiling.
j - "Where is everyone? It's almost 8"
v - "Maybe they're inside the restaurant already, lets go"
Both of them walked in and didn't see anyone at their reserved table. Viren walked his lady over pulling the chair back for her and then immediately sat right next to her.
v - "Day after tomorrow I have a board meeting"
j - "For the job in San Francisco?"
v - "Yeah, let's hope something interesting comes up"
j - "You know Viren I really feel you should stay here"
v - "Thats quite the contrary of what I would think you would want"
j - "Our family is here, we have a beautiful house. And if you move there, we won't be able to move back here anytime soon"
v - "But Jeevika we don't know how long you will be up north. What if its live five years? I can't commute or even let you commute for that long of a time"
j - "If it ends up being too long, then I'll leave and come back to my old job"
v - "Well let the board meeting happen first, then we can decide what the outcomes come to be"
j - "Sounds good. Look there's Veera and Armaan"
Both of them got up from their chairs as the two came over.
j - "Veera you look great" she said so happy to see her like that.
veera - "Thank you bhabhi. I can always expect something sweet from your mouth" she said as she looked at her brother.
viren - "I give compliments where needed" 😆
veera - "Oh so Virat bhaiya changed his mind, and he's proposing tomorrow instead. So lets just pretend like we know nothing"
viren - "Armaan, Jeevika, and I can do that... idk about you though"
veera - "Very Funny! I'm the one who he told first"
viren - "I wonder why he did that" 😆
veera - "You know you're the one who told me first also. Ask yourself that question as well"
viren - "Jeevika and I told you first because you were very sick that time. Just to make you feel better" 😆
j - "But Veera now make sure you don't over exert yourself. Its gonna take weeks, maybe even months till you start feeling normal again. Just do exactly what the doctor orders. And please don't ever miss any appointment or lab work"
veera - "I won't, don't worry. Are you excited for your job now. Now you can properly focus and get settled there"
j - "Yeah I am actually. I got a lot of Viren and me time 😆 and now I'm ready for onlyyy me time 🤣"
viren - "Seriously the people I have to deal with is just... ughhh"
veera - "We keep you grounded on your toes"
viren - "That's forsure"
Within a few minutes Virat and Manvi found the rest and settled on the table with everyone else.
j - "Let's order. I'm really hungry now"
viren - "I know what I'm ordering"
veera - "Me too"
virat - "Me three"
j - "Gosh you Vadhera's are so fast"
viren - "You're a Vadhera also now" 😆
j - "Oh right" 🤣
As soon as they ordered, Jeevika noticed Virat and Manvi behaving awkwardly with each other. She couldn't quite make out what they were trying to sort out. Before she could even ask though, Virat got everyone's attention.
virat - "Bhai, Manvi and I need to tell you all something."
viren - "Sure, what's going on?"
virat - "Well there's a bit of a problem, but"
j - "What happened?"
virat - "Manvi and I want to get married"
veera - "We know that... but what's the problem?"
virat - "We want to get married as soon as possible"
j - "What as soon as possible? I mean did you even propose yet?"
virat - "No, but"
viren - "Virat spill it out"
virat - "Manvi is pregnant and we both are really excited for this. We want to get married right away" he said finally letting out a sigh.
Everyone on the table was shocked. It was a mix of every emotion possible! They were super excited at the thought of a baby coming, but no one was expecting this news from Virat and Manvi. They weren't even engaged yet!!! Though it took a minute to process, there were hugs and wishes going all over the place.
veera - "Are you guys ready to become parents even? And what about telling everyone else?"
manvi - "That's why we were scared. I found out three days ago, and I didn't know how to break it to Virat, let alone my family"
virat - "And I don't even know how we will tell everyone back home. Especially since the thing is we want to get married right away"
manvi - "And we don't want a big fancy wedding even. I just don't know how to look my parents in the eyes and tell them this news. I can't think of letting go of this baby even"
j - "Of course not! You guys should be excited for this not unhappy. Don't worry, everything will fall into place. You don't have to sacrifice a big lavish wedding just because of the fact that you're pregnant and embarrassed"
virat - "Bhai what about mom, and bua and dadaji. I don't know what to say to them"
viren - "That's why you have me. Jeevika and I will handle it, but for now lets just enjoy this news. Can't believe we're going to have another family member now"
veera - "This is the best news we've gotten in a while! Perfect timing I'd say"
j - "Absolutely. And Manvi don't worry about anything. We will talk your parents as well. We're all in this together" she said smiling.
