Huge setback for Seemandhra region for the first time

Seemandhra : Central Delta drinking water did not accepted for the issue raised by the Andhra region for the drinking water supply for Krishna Delta. Delta does not need 10TMC water for drinking purpose for 1week said by central water board chairman. Krishna water management board Incharge chairman AB Pandya also said and cleared about this issue. As per the calculations for drinking purpose they can release up-to 3.5TMC water per 1 week and this cannot be used for irrigation.

At the same time of releasing water, electricity should be produced and that electricity should supply to Telangana region. Actually from starting Andhra government claiming false allegations for 10 TMC water. They are using various methods for lobbying and taking water at the time of drought season and making the best use for irrigation. CM KCR has met with Secretary General Rajiv Sharma and discussed about these tactics playing for water.

He explained about the water reserves in Nagarjuna sagar reservoir. He said that beyond for the usage of drinking water if they use for any other purpose they should face severe water scarcitry in the coming seasons .

On the other hand the situation of water levels in the reservoir are decling very drastically, in this situation KCR said that telangana government can't supply 10tmc water to Andhra region .

But Andhra government has raised a confict that they require 10TMC water for sure so Telangana Government has met with the National water resources committe regarding this issue. Today morning at 10.00 am Telangana secratery general Rajiv Sharma has met with irrigation water department Ministers and they explained about their objections, he cleared explained that for the drinking purpose upto 3TMC water is enough for a week, he also said that in the name of drinking water they are using for irrigation so they can't afford 10TMC water for drinking purpose.

According to this central water department has issued notice to the telangana region to release 3TMC water a week for drinking purpose to Andhra region
