Without thinking Richa's attitude or past and Suhit's get up andattitude or whatever.. Just close your eyes and listen to Richa's song and Suhit's song and then listen to judges comments... zameen aasman ka farq hai...Richa is so sureli... Iagree her voice is childish but she is full of sur and taal she is a true singer than why do the judges discourage her so bad that she is not for Indian Idol and encourage Suhit for the song that didn't even have any rythm or sur... please guysbe honest and tell me if you do or do not think judges were wrong in supporting Suhit and not Richa... If anyone deserve the harsh comments from Javed Akhtar that "ur not for indian Idol" its Suhit not Richa from any aspect!

Although I don't like Richa, she is definitely a better singer than Suhit anyday.

I think Richa isnt that great as she is proclaimed to be , first of all she doesnt have a voice, can u imagine her lending her voice to any lead actresses of today, can u imagine listening to her solo album , can u imagine her as an Idol , the answer is NO .

Everyone is well trained esp in the girls side so its no big deal is she is classically trained , it would help in her singing but if if her classical singing ruins the song, she cannot be praised. She adds a classical touch to any normal Bollywood song which spoils it , on top of that her voice doesnt help either.

Suhit is bad as well with no sur or taal nor voice quality , I already said Richa, Shifa and Pooja have 2-3 to go before coming for II-3

No offense to any one

I agree with the age.. I wish she had auditioned when she was 19-20 that wud've been perfect.. but am asking was her performance that bad that she deserved"ur not for indian idol" as compared to Suhit's singing who waspraised by the judges?

khushi you are defending Richa in a wrong place dear... this is just going to turn into another "she is worst singer" thread.. Personally I completely agree with you.. I think she is a wonderful singer and very dedicated to music.. but her voice is childlike at this age.. when she grows and her voice matures I think in few yrs she will be very very good singer.. its defenitely more melodious than many singers who are praised by judges.. Today when i was seeing her sing she was so involved she was concentrating only on song not performance or anything.. I felt really sorry when she cried.. I thought her mukhda was a little slow but I think she sang anthara well..

I agree with you. Richa can not change her voice overnight and they knew here voice and then selected her, and she is a great singer!

Thank you.
I can't believe judges didn't say the same to certain other(s). Instead, they tell them: 'work hard, put more effort, you're improving (= singing one or two line in sur)

I really liked her performance tonight. At least she had the right flow, concentration and feel to the song. It was a good choice of song. Yes, Richa's voice definitely needs to mature and in that regard, Deepali, Charu and Smita are ahead of her.
