The episode starts with Saras reaching home finally late to see Kumud sleeping on the sofa waiting for him. He is sad. When he touches her, she wakes up. Saras is touched and sentimental. He is not being able to give Kumud time and it makes him sad. He asks her to go back home for some days as the family misses her just like she misses them. Kumud is not agreeable but finally accepts when Saras asks her to go for his sake.
In the morning Kumud is packing but her heart is not there. She is sad. Saras notices and asks her what is the matter. Kumud tells her about her apprehensions and intuition of things to go wrong. Saras reassures her that he will never leave her for the seven births and hugs her.
When Danny comes home, he tells the family about Kabir misunderstanding, that of thinking the family planned Anoushka's entry to get him married to her. They decide not to let Anoushka know about it. Dugbaa thinks Kabir and Anoushka are good together and wants to get them fixed but kusum says that Anoushka is not interested in marriage.
Kumud and Saras are in a dilemma. Kumud wants him to stop her. Saras can't see her sad. Finally Saras says he will drop her at the airport but his work comes in between.
Anoushka is carrying her books when Kabir comes and surprises her by being "decent" to her. He has come to pick her. They have a talk. Kabir confesses he was just harassing her and Anoushka tells him that she hears his talk with Danny. Anoushka shares her opinion about marriage and how one loses one's identity with it. Kabir listens and they go home.
Kumud is leaving, crying on the way to the airport. Saras has a heavy heart too.
When Kabir and Anoushka reach home, she gets a call from her dad. She is leaving in two days. Kabir is shocked. Everybody tries to makes her stay more but she says it will not be possible but she will come back again.
Prashant is spying on Kumud's flat and cannot see her around. He sees Saras and goes to him.
Kumud is leaving and thinking of Saras, her chand who will never leaves his Chandni. She stood the car.
Prashant meets Saras and enquires about Kumud. Saras looks at him.

Kumud comes home all happy. Saras and Nikki are working. She is shocked.
