The four Days!

Chapter-33:

Although the elephant has a large body, and a sharp tusk, yet it fears the attack of the tiger.

Day-4:

The last ounce in the cask!

Between Third day night to late night:

Suddenly a lot was happening, even more than we realized.

The search started at the side street, Jafar mentioned.

Although the quest had started within fifteen minutes the jeep entered into the street, it took hours to find it.

Jafar tried to follow the jeep once he saw it.

He ran through the street and went up to where it parted into two different streets.

He stood panting heavily, before dialing the control room.

Arjun informed us the situation when he came back from the spot.

The spot was much nearer to the twice -got-a-call-from-booth!

No more co -incidences, we were reaching them!

It was the first piece of information Arjun gave us himself in hours.

He told us to go home for the time being and be back at five in the morning.

We obeyed at once, for we had to fulfill his words as we had decided.

The fourth Day!

Morning:

03:00 am:

The jeep was found in a rented shed.

The owner of the shed informed that the fellow, who rented it had paid him full for three months in advance from a month back.

He could not say about his whereabouts. He informed, he would come by foot there to pick up the vehicle in the morning, he had seen him sometimes and he would come at late nights usually, with an exception yesterday night.

When the jeep returned yesterday night, the owner saw him through his window and wondered about the earlier return and within minutes he left the shed.

The jeep was searched and found a long hair in the back seat-a woman's.

The shed was clean except the jeep.

Police dogs were unleashed then.

They plunged in the same direction the owner pointed out as, in which he saw the man went through.

In conference room:-

04:30 am:

Ayesha said, "Why don't you trace her mobile, Shree?"

I knew she suggested it playfully.

I had never dreamt of tracing a fellow member's number. The thought was not only unpleasant, but also I hated it the most. As though like some suspect...

"What, planning for a 'Party Lunch'?"

I teased her.

She grinned and nodded.

"I'll message her," she typed something as saying, "Sky blue shirt, what's the pants' color?"

"I think it's black. I didn't notice it when we crossed him in the lobby."

"Chottu?"

"She'd buy us the lunch, no matter which color he donned today," Chottu said with a smile.

We raised our eyebrows questioningly.

"She is going to see him after two full days, right? We can ask her anything today."

"That's right!"

We agreed at once.

"What did he ask?"- Ayesha whispered in a conspiring voice.

"Where is she?"- We mimicked Arjun.

We were still smiling at the thought as Arjun came in and cut the call.

We went silent and were watching him.

His mobile rang again and he answered at once.

"Yes!"

"----"

"Right!"

"----"

"Check it at once!"

He cut the call and moved toward the door without a word.

He turned to us suddenly and called me, "Shree," on second thought and said, "Come with me!"

I stood up and looked Ayesha and Chottu.

But they were smiling pleasantly. Chottu signaled me with his closed hand to say 'Handy!' with a smirk and lifted his thumb to say, 'All the best!'

I followed him to the car.

He was silent for most of the journey. Then suddenly he started, "They've found the beard man," I frowned and was waiting for more,"We are going to meet him. He is involved in the kidnap, I think," as though he was repenting to give me the information even still.

"We've found him, sir! He is now staying in a deserted house in the second Bragnan Street. He is alone. In fact the place too is alone. No light that we can see through any window, maybe he is sleeping. It is five blocks away from the shed. No clue of a girl there. What's our next move, sir?"

"What about the picture I sent you an hour back?"

"The owner could not identify the person in it, sir."

"I see."

He was silent a moment.

Then suddenly he asked that question,

"By any chance this fellow has a thick beard?"
