To all those who have been following this FF from other forums - thank you for being here. I hope you discover this jodi like all us here did! Here's a brief note - hope this helps fill the gaps.

Ishita in this FF like in the show is a sweet traditional loving girl. Who loves Ruhi and her dad Raman but this Ishtia is a little more outspoken, uses her intelligence, and I have also taken liberties with the happenings.It is fiction after all. They are at this moment in a similar place in the show as well. The pace going forward will be different there will more movement. Raman is exactly as he is in the show - strong ,handsome and out-spoken and ofcourse a large hearted man and a very loving father who loves teasing his wife Ishita.

Wilderness and day break

Raman continued to hold the crying Ishita. Ishita do you realise' he started somberly " Raman today was a watershed, I'm so relieved Ruhi was will now be safe with us and the uncertainty is gone forever" interrupted Ishtia. "Me too Ishita..and I know how much I owe you for this." he pulled her closer " par wo baat nahi hain..aab tumhe kya pareshani hai bolo Ishita?" he insisted.

"Ruhi ke saath mere jaan bhi wapas aa gayi Raman, ab main really jeena chahthi hoon, a simple care free, unpretentious life. Ever since the Param incident I have started seeing you and our life together differently. I have seen how definitive your actions are, I respect you as a professional and as a parent. Counted on your support with Amma's accident - meri poore family aapko maanne lagi hai." said Ishita. " I too appreciate all that you and your family have done for me Ishita. They have made you strong but you are still so attached to them. You now treat my family like yours, you are so forgiving but that is not what has got you down. Please itni footage maat kao, get to the point Ishita" he said grabbing her tight again. His actions betraying the anxiety he was suppressing.

" Raman seeing Param in the court today brought back bitter memories because the whole saga flashed in front of me. Thankfully Phatak ensured that we did not have to play it all out. But that does not mean it is easy for me." she cried some more. " Ishita I know I will never forgive myself for not being there when you needed me most and for not keeping you safe in your marital home. I promise i will keep you safe. I can only tell you what you always told me with Ruhi Ishta - do not dwell in the past. Don't mess your life thinking about the negativity heaped on you by a bas***d. Kulke jiyo Ishita humare saath. Ruhi hamari ho gayi hai" he could not continue anymore because he had to gasp that instant. Ishita turned abruptly into his neck and kissed him on his cheek very close to his lips said " mujhe bhi apna bana lo Raman!" Raman was immensely thankful for the setting sun. That moment would stay frozen in his memory forever.

A woman he admired and respected and had grown used to wanted to be his! The man who was rejected 6 years ago, by a woman he loved with all his heart the mother of his two kids; had flushed down their life and memories together by two timing him. Then there was this woman who had only " given" to him, his family and his kids. For his part he had done very little for her, and now she wanted him to take her! Realization of the extremes the man faced engulfed his consciousness. Her simple words swept through his being and rejuvenated him inside out. He was way too over whelmed to remember even to breathe. He sat absolutely still. Ishita - the emotional mess she was did not pay attention to his feelings, she thought she was asking Raman for what he could not give - his love.

"Raman" she steeled herself and continued " you know I'm not really asking here to be loved, I simply want to feel like a woman. Ek bhaar pyar kar chukhi hoon and I don't want to go there again, I just want to explore with you, I'm a Doctor Raman and I know the physical and chemical bit involved in getting together we can leave the emotional bit out you know" she tried to sound very bold. "Suuch much tum meri Jhansi Ki Rani ho! I know you would never ever have stepped beyond the decency with either one of your so called relationships. I can tell from the way you blush when I just look at you; touch to dhoor ki baat hai ! Himmat to dehko she wants to have sex with no strings! Yeh ladki to waake hi mujhpe jaan chidakthi hai" he thought in his head and his chest rose with pride. " But I'm going to tease her all the same aakhir mai bhi toh Raavan kumar hoon" he smiled secretly.

"Are you sure Ishita" he asked aloud. " Haan" she nodded " only as much as you can give". This time around Raman could not control his chuckle. " Koi itni besharmi se bolte hue itni innocent kaisi lag sakthi hai! wah Bhalla kya kismat payi hai..ek ne pyaar ka dava kiya aur kisi ke saath bhag gayi, aur doosri saath bhaiti hai, har haal me haath pakadke aur ready hai friends with benefits wala realtionship ke liye. WOMEN!" he screamed in his head silently. The man in him was very much alive and awfully excited. But Ishita was lucky she was married to a "gentleman" whose habits were all unconventional but values were all rock solid and sometimes even old-fashioned. The kind of men they don't make anymore and are rare in the real world.

"Teek hai Ishtia if you are upto it we can go to our company's guest house at Saket, I can call them and tell them that my wife and I will be there soon and stay for the night" "but Raman ghar pe" interjected Ishita Raman looked at her intently " Leave Ruhi and the family to me Ishita I'll handle it and you wont have to go back red-faced I promise". he actually promised a lot more, it was now Ishita's turn to be breathless how did she manage not to devour this man all these days she wondered. He was so dashing! She was frightened of the emotions that were stirring in her. Emotions that she never knew she was capable off! She was in love and all she cared about right now was to make this man next to her, her own. What it looked like from outside she was beyond caring now! Daybreak tomorrow was going to be like never before!
