A compilation of the poetry in the show

I have tried to compile all of the poetry we have heard so far in the show. If I have missed out on something, or if there's an error that you noticed, do please let me know. ~Tanisha

Sang mein chhalaane bharte

Sapne mere hai baawre

Jogi re tera sheher na gaaon re... Baawre

Suphi phire awaara

befikra mann banjaara

Na jaane kisko dhundta?

Kyun itni seedhi rahe

Kyu na inhe uljhaaye?

Ho tedha mera raasta

Suna akhiyon ka angna

Kaisi teri rangrezi

chadhe koi rang na

Kaisa tera sheher

Dhoopon ka hai safar

La de thodi si chhaon re...

Ik din hum bin bataye

Khud se milne ko aaye

Mann ki khidki pe dekha

Hum the chehra chhupaaye

Sab kuchh haseen toh hai

Phir bhi kahi toh hai

Halka sa koi ghaaon re...

Mujhko behna hai jaise

Bahe paani pe patte

Ude khule aasmaan pe

Jaise badalon ke jatthe

Befikara bekhabar

Chal de ho mann jidhar

Kagaaz ki jaise naav re...

Purane khat - 2nd June, 2014

Purane khat mile hai aaj ghar mein

Diye se jal gaye hai khandahar mein

Badi pecheeda hai yaadon ki galiyaan

Bhatak le baawre... inme bhatak le.

Yaha kho kar ke usko dhoond le na...

jo kab se hai na aaya tere ghar mein.

Purane khat mile hai aaj ghar mein

Diye se jal gaye hai khandahar mein.

Koi khat shaam ki dulhan ka manzar

koi panna jhulasta dopahar mein

Hai kuch lamho mein saari umar jee li

Baras kitne guzaare raat bhar mein

Puraane khat mile hai aaj ghar mein

Diye se jal gaye hai khandahar mein.

Husn walo ki aadat - 2nd June. 2014

Hawaa o mein sheher ki ankahee si ek shararat hai
Ki kehke bhi na kuchh kehna husn walo ki aadat hai
Nahi ho paayi sohabat inki
Lekin ye toh seekha hai
Inse toh durr hi ache
Ye husn bas ek aafat hai

Nikumbh's Shayari - 5th June, 2014

Dil ko kaha hai hosh ki hai shaam ya seher,

Deedare husn mein hue masroof iss kadar|

Aaj fursat se -19th June, 2014

Aaj fursat se yun mile ho tum

Thoda kam ajnabee lage ho tum

Aaj dekha hai inn aankhon mein

Kitne khwaab palte hai

Toh phir hothon ke inn munderon pe

Labhz kyun sehme sehme se chalte hai?

Labhz kyun kaid hai, azaad karo

Sehme panchee hai, machalte hai

Inko udna hai asmaano mein,

mutthiyon mein kaha sambhalte hai?

Aao baaton ke neend tum so lo

Kitne kaamoshiyon mein jaage ho tum.

Nikumbh's poetry-Radio interview - 5th August, 2014

Dil me rakh ke fareb, chehre pe chamak laate ho kaise?
Peshe ke hakeem tum logo ke saanse churate ho kaise?

Yeh hunar hai ya aib, aib yani galat aadat, tum hi jaano
Bas bata do ayne mein chehra dekh phir muskurate ho kaise?

Thanks a lot for compiling all beautiful poem.

I love all of them, and we will be getting more.

There was one poem he wrote in yamini's studio on the cloth/ paper, which Yamini threw in the trash. I don't remember right now words but I will try tomorrow. It was in the first week's episode.

Thank you for your compilation of the beautiful poems.

I think the first one he wrote on the tissue went something like this...

Hawa o meh is shaher ki unkahi si shararat hai

Keh ke bhi na kuch kehna

Hasinoh walo ki yeh aadat hai

Nahin hoh payi yeh sabak inki

Lekin yehi toh shikayat hai

Inse Door rehna hi acha hai

Yeh Husn bas ek aafat hai.

I hope I remembered it all correctly.

thank u so much TMfor the compilation...i wanted to read to poems slowly in order to grasp itz inner meaning, because i am a nonhindi speaker and although studied hindi as my third lang, still struggle to grab the meanings instantly esp if spoken in itz finer form, ie suddh hindi. i am dead serious when i declare that baawre is a must watch for those who love poetry and absolutely dreamy narration done by the raconteur neelesh sharma in his own captivating voice.

Does this count? The one Nikumbh said at Azam's phone shop while Shaheen was there? It was not complete though, right? And just some offhand poetic lines. So it may not be a big deal.

I think it may have been fourth or fifth June.

I was wondering about. I wanted to include it, but like you said, it wasn't complete. But if you want, I can add it.
