Verma gave a faint smile but then spoke up "I have kept small devices on everyone you see - keeping the tab on ETF..."

"So... have you heard something... maybe Arjun and Sakshi fighting over irritable stuffs as usual!" Kapoor gave a vague smile while adding oregano to the dish.

"Nahi re... yeh hota toh achcha hota.. I guess Arjun and Sakshi had become slightly intimate... no not yet physical" Verma said while looking at Kapoor's wide eyes...

"Not yet?" Kapoor arched up the eyebrows then went back to add the freshly chopped basil to the spaghetti dish but seeming visible disturbed..

"If some things didn't happen at some time... there is immense heat between them ... you see.. they could even..." Verma fumbled... there was a need to be careful while speaking about Sakshi to Kapoor...

"End up kissing and maybe end up making love?" Kapoor stated bluntly... throwing the knife into the basin...

Verma just stared at Kapoor for a minute... then continued... at this time there was no need for maybe discussing this - they need not talk about other people's lives...

"Verma... don't think ke dusro ke baare main baat karke waqt barbaad kar rahe hai... Sakshi ya Ashi... they were... are never other people humaare liye." Kapoor said while looking straight at Verma...

So Verma continued...

"Basically like how they show in films... kiss hote hote reh gaya types... toh ab janaab ko guilt factor ho raha hai..." and Verma narrated of Arjun's self talk and then the harsh manner of speaking to Sakshi...

"Pata nahi paas aane main logo ki problem nahi hoti par jab baat saamne ho aur usse accept karna ho toh phir usko laath maarne main aur taane sunaane main koi kasoor nahi." Verma sighed...

"What he ***** is wrong with Arjun... aise kaise baat kar sakta hai Sakshi se... how can he... kabhi kabar toh mujhe Arjun ek ghalat choice lagta hai uske liye... I mean in the sense woh aisa insaan ho sakta hai ki he might kiss her ya even end up making love phir agle subah uthega seeing Sakshi next to him.. aur keh sakta hai... ki I didn't mean it... yeh kya ho gaya... aur fire Sakshi or stop speaking to her! Do you understand that Verma? At this point he is emotionally weak aur at the spur of moment he can even take her to bed... to only regret it, even though he likes her.. aur woh yeh bardaash nahi kar payegi... out of honor he might even marry her... a dead marriage!" Kapoor said irritated and annoyed...

Seeing Liza shift slightly at her couch Verma signaled Kapoor to keep quiet and pulled up the blanket on her and switched on the AC...

Taking Kapoor aside... Verma said "Kappy.. calm down.."

"Hmm... but seriously.. par main sure hoon... ek insaan hai jo usko aise behave karne main rokega... and I think do teen baatein bhi sunayega! And that might open his mind... " Kapoor said grimly while keeping the dish to a table beside Liza and placing a glass of water with tablets next to the glass...

"Kaun?" Verma asked..

"You know who!" said Kapoor with a bright smile

Verma looked back with a faint smile... and chuckled...

Seeing her stand mum.. and at a close proximity which threatened his senses again, he ruthlessly threw her aside...

She would have landed straight on the floor had it not been for someone catching her...

"May you explain this?" a voice asked Arjun in steel voice..

Arjun immediately turned behind shocked.. he didn't expect anyone in here...

That person immediately made Sakshi stand up...

Walking upto Arjun, repeating the question in a higher tone "MAY YOU EXPLAIN THIS?"

"Woh... it's none of your business.." Arjun shot back with a straight face...

"Really none of my business toh SIR let me tell you that it is none of your business to go to Sakshi's house at 11 in the night.. none of your business to call her up aur hume batayein ki hume yaha warehouse main aana hai..." she spat out...

"AYESHA DON'T YOU DARE TALK TO ME IN THAT TONE" Arjun barked at her...

Ayesha had walked in just to hear all the demeaning things Arjun told Sakshi... she was puzzled... at one point he had almost kissed Sakshi and now putting the blame game on her... she cared a lot for this naive girl... and this behavior blasted her mind off...

"And sir... DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH SAKSHI AGAIN." Ayesha shouted back at Arjun at the same level...

Arjun immediately backed off by her tone... he knew that he had crossed his limits... he had erred gravely...

"Airport main I saw ki uski haath ki injury ko but just because Sam was leaving toh maine kuch bhi nahi kaha... tum dono ki silence tab was explanatory enough... aur aap bataye ke aisa kaunsa demonstration ki zaroorat hai ki kisiko strangle karna padta hai to get to see some markings... main BHI ek inspector hoon - yeh forensic expert se bhi pata chal jaata tha... unki yeh hi speciality hai... finally you seemed to be speaking to her nicely toh I became happy ki shayad aap ke wajeh se Sakshi ko kuch jhelna nahi padega..." Ayesha flared at Arjun...

Before Arjun could say anything she continued...

"and listen.. Sakshi ki per main moch toh kabhi nahi aa sakti hai... woh kya hai na her heel is replaced with a metallic one... bahar se pata bhi nahi chalta... accident ke wajeh se... uski per main woh skin tear ho gaya tha.. and the metallic area got injured... kabhi kabaar dard hi nahi hota aur kabhi kabar bohot dard hota hai... yeh baat toh hum bhi nahi jaante till Shree came across her medical report... even though the metal was fine per main jo stitches the usko cover karne ke liye she used to put the patti - par aapko to ek second bhi nahi laga usko ulta seedha bolne main right?" Ayesha shot at him sarcastically while Arjun looked at her shocked

"Sakshi ke per..." he thought... guilt hitting his mind... coming back to attention when Ayesha again turned to him... her eyes red with rage...

"Aap humesha taane maarte rehte hai ki she doesn't do any blo**y job par agar ETF ko samman mil raha hai aur agar logo ki bharosa and moreover underworld ki threat se bach rahe hai then it's all due to this female... still she keeps quiet... pata nahi kyun!" she spat angrily

"Aur aaj when I saw you two close... fine could be ki ek minute ke liye u lost your senses... par isme aapko koi bhi haq nahi hota Sakshi se aise behave karne ke liye... who the hell gave you the right... which blo**y right to almost kiss her when you want and then throw her off jab achanak se aapko koi morals and sh*t ke baare main yaad aata hai? Kya woh koi red light ladki hai.."

"NO Ayesha.. never.. maine kabhi aisa nahi socha Sakshi ke baare main!" Arjun looked at her with pleading eyes...

"Fine... but you are treating her like that... Sakshi ko keh rahe the that se won't stop you from doing anything.. jab bhi aap chahe she should be in your arms while you kiss, caress and do whatever with her and the next minute you throw her off..." She spoke with disgust...

Arjun just looked at her with shocked eyes and then bowed his head in shame... unfortunately whatever Ayesha said was... true...

"YOU DISGUST ME SIR... Sam ko aapko yeh kehna hi nahi chahiye tha" Ayesha literally shouted at him...

Arjun couldn't meet to her eye to eye... he could just barely mumble "Rathore ko kya nahi kehna chahiye tha..." in an almost inaudible state...

But Ayesha's sharp ears had caught that ... she smiled sarcastically and told Arjun "ki aap uske behen ka raksha karo..."

Arjun just stood with his head hung low... regret and guilt were two words synonymous to his state now...

Ayesha walked up to a shocked Sakshi and held her hand gently...

Before the two walked away Ayesha shot back at Arjun

"Aapki bolti kyun band ho gayi? Really aap iss duniya ki aakhri insaan hona chahiye for Sam to tell to protect Sakshi... cause you are not even remotely capable for protecting her... you never were... agar yeh marr bhi gayi toh aapko kabhi farak bhi nahi padega... shayad aapko chen aayega iss baat se, ab se aap Sakshi ke paas bhi mat aayega... warna... "

Shaking her head she took a mum Sakshi with her to the 3rd section of the warehouse...

Arjun's heart broke at that... he was numb... shocked... frozen... his vision had become blurry... he clenched his jaws tighter to control the pain in his heart...

Ayesha's words had hurt him more than what Sam had told him ever... because what she had said was truth.. he could feel the bitterness form in his mouth... he regretted each and every word he had spoken to Sakshi... she wasn't responsible a bit for his actions... what is wrong with him...

He closed his eyes... "Yeh maine kya kiya Sakshi ke saath..." his mind thought...

Sakshi - innocent, beautiful, naive yet extremely brave and matured...

" Zindagi ne usse pehle se hi bohot kuch sehen karne ke liye de di... bas yeh hi baaki thi... uske dost banne ka faisla liya, taaki usko aur bhi dard de sakta hai." his heart chided him

Just then he received a sms from Sakshi "Sir.. do forgive Ayesha for her words... she is just a bit too concerned for me... But I do believe you are right.. it is my fault to have thought... "

He just stared at his phone in shock... he said what not to her... he deserved every single thing that Ayesha told him and here she was taking the blame on her head... how could this girl ever disgust him? He never bothered to check her leg... she had suffered such a huge accident... and this innocent girl was telling him not to feel bad.. and her matured and formal tone... it hurt him bad... almost like a stab...

"Kya kuch nahi kaha maine!" he regretted sitting on the floor...

"Ab khush apne mann ke bat sunke?" his heart said...

"Kabse main keh raha tha Arjun ki tu baaton ko ulta seedha le raha hai... I think today even Roshni would despise this..." His heart told him...

"Hamesha aisa karte aaya hai... papa se jhagad toh liya... maana papa ghalat tha... par jab tu chupke se gaya tha papa ke ghar mai, 8 saal baad to see ke tere har news paper cutting frame karke rakha hai... still you didn't go to visit him... because of your damned ego... Sakshi ne kya kia tha to gain this insult from you huh?" his heart hit him...

It had been half an hour... his throat seemed dry..

"Mujhe Sakshi aur Ayesha se maafi maangna padega..." he mumbled... decided and walked towards the 3rd section... not anticipating what was to come...

Sakshi would forgive him...his Sakshi is that nice... but would he deserve that?... Would Ayesha ever forgive him?...

Kapoor finished eating a share of the spaghetti so did Verma.. they both had heard the entire conversation... while washing the plates Kapoor smiled "What did I tell you about Ayesha!"

Looking at the phone records in the computer beside Kapoor gritted "Yeh Sakshi ne yeh sms kyun bheja?"

Verma smiled back... "As is you don't know her Kappy..."

Kapoor gave a whatever look then stopped finding Verma look at the floor with a shocked look...

"Yaar... kya hua?" Kapoor asked

"Hell... yeh baat.. why didn't come before... in my mind... Kappy, Sikandar ke neeche jo aadmi kaam karta hai woh Sikandar ko kya bulaata hai?" Verma asked

"Kya faltu sawaal - bhao bulaate hain!" Kapoor answered wiping hands on the towel...

"Aur uss aadmi ne kya kaha when we asked ki kisne bheja tujhe?" Verma said...

"He said Sikandar.. wait... bhao bulaana chahiye par usne toh... matlab yeh Sikandar ke under goons nahi the!" Kapoor said shocked...

"Right... I was thinking about Liza's attack... usse attack karne ka koi solid kaaran bhi nahi tha.. in fact you know woh log toh kachche the... it was damn easy to throw these people and fight them off... aur hume ek kharoch bhi nahi aaya.. aur Sikandar ke aadmi kabhi bhi kisi ladki ki izzat nahi ched the until and unless there is a prime reason.. Liza ka izzat lootne se Rawte ko kuch nahi hota... in fact Rawte ka koi affect hi nahi hota.. warna humare jageh wahan Rawte hota..." Verma calculated...

Kapoor looked grim...

"Kappy no.. no ... yeh nahi ho sakta..." Verma suddenly panicked...

"Kya hua..." Kapoor asked tensed

"He knows we exist" Verma shot at Kapoor shocking...

"Kya?"Kapoor screamed...

"Let's go to Rawte... ASAP' Verma ordered

"Kyun?" Kapoor asked confused but running out with Verma to take the bike

" Kyunki Rawte just has hours left in his life!" Verma said...
