Hmm... it seems to be healing said Rohan as he looked closely at his brother's bruised face.

It has been 2 days man and it still hurts like hell. That guy did hit me hard. Saying Roshan, as he moved away from his brother.

Dev sat down with a sigh. He dint know how to proceed now. Sometimes he just wanted to pick up the phone and call his brother back home. He knew only his brother could bring back Geet. He just couldn't see her living like this.

DEV... he heard Meera scream for him. He got up and dashed towards the room from where he heard her call him. He opened the door and froze at the sight in front of him.

Bhabhi.. Meera cried as she shook an unconscious Geet.

Dev what the hell are you looking at. Come and help me. She yelled at a stunned Dev.

The image of Geet lying unconscious with cuts on her wrist, bleeding would remain forever in his memory.

Dev moved forward and picked up Geet. He and Meera ran towards the car and sped towards the hospital. He couldn't believe that she would do this. Geet had cut her hand. Why the hell was all this happening?

You need to stay out. The nurse instructed as they took Geet into the emergency room.

Both Dev and Meera waited outside and after an hour the doctor gave them the good news that Geet was up and out of danger. Dev dint know how he would react on seeing her. He took out his phone and called Dr. Dhruv and narrated what had happened.

Meera was the only one sitting inside the room with Geet. Dev refused to see her. He was furious with her. How can she do something like this? She was letting those vile people win by doing this. Suicide is not at all an option. Especially when she has so many people who loved her. He couldn't bring himself to understand why she would do this.

Dev... he heard the Dhruv call.

Is she up? He asked as he came near him.

Yes. Go inside. Dhruv nodded his head and entered the room

Mrs. Kurrana. Dhruv nodded his head in acknowledgement towards her but Geet ignored him. She was upset that she had survived.

Come with me. Dhruv said to Geet, giving a knowing smile towards Meera.

Geet turned her head away from him and ignored him like always.

Dhruv pulled Geet by her good hand and dragged her out of the room and through the hallway towards the elevator, ignoring the fact that she would be weak after losing so much blood. He, for the first time was really frustrated with her.

Geet ran-walked behind the doctor. She had no idea what he wanted with her and for once she dint care. He could kill her for all she cared. They moved out of the back door and into another block. He dragged her into a hallway and then they stopped near a huge double door.

Dhruv opened it and pulled Geet.

In that huge room there were many beds and each beds was divided with green curtains. On the bed were half sleep women who moaned and cried in their half-conscious state.

You are seeing this? Dhruv asked in a cold tone.

Geet looked around confused abt the purpose of her being here.

That woman there. Dhruv said pointing at a bed near them.

She was raped by her boss and his friends. She had a 3 year old child back home and a dead husband.

Geet was shocked as she looked in on a bruised and battered body of that woman. She was sleeping and an old woman was near her who was gently patting a small boy on her shoulder.

You see that woman? She was hit brutally by her husband. She was pregnant with a second child. He said again pointing at another bed.

Geet looked at that woman who was partially unconscious but crying as she rubbed her hand over her now empty stomach. Geet slowly started crying looking at this.

You see that small kid there? He said pointing at a girl who was not more than 15 years. She was unconscious.

That girl was raped by her father in a drunken state. She was only partially alive when her brother and mother bought her here.

Geet dint know how to react. She felt the pain of all these woman. She cried more as the doctor dragged her out of the room

Tho Geet. How do you feel looking at these women? He asked her in a cruel voice.

Geet flinched at this. She dint understand why he was doing this.

You know, all these woman are fighters. Even after all this, they are fighting for their life. They want to live. But don't even for a moment think it is for themselves. No it is not. It is for all those people they love. They know that if they stop fighting they would hurt their loved ones. Dhruv said looked at the now closed door with sadness.

It takes only a minute to kill yourself. But do you know what happens after that? Especially to those people who love you? No right. I'll tell you. Those people die every day. They keep torturing themselves thinking they could have stopped this. They keep living the day over and over till they actually die. Do you want this for your family?

You know Geet. You are so fortunate that you are not in such a position like those women there. You are really lucky to have so many people love you. He said looking at her and then past her. Geet turned to see a really worried Dev and Meera behind them.

Dhruv gave her a small sad smile. Today if you had died do you know in what position youd have put Dev in? What would he say to your husband? How would they live after this incident? Dev and your husband will be eternally guilty.

Geet's eyes widened and then she was filled with guilt. How could she forget abt all this. She, in all her own sorrow forgot abt her brother and most importantly abt her husband. Maan... the mere name made her cry even more.

You are a cruel human Geet. In your selfishness you have decided to give pain to all these people. Look at Meera. She is pregnant and is worried sick abt you. What would happen if something happened to her child? Did you think abt al this?

Geet felt so bad abt this. She herself dint know what she did. It was in the spur of the moment. She was thinking abt everything and suddenly a thought crossed her mind. She really had not thought of killing herself. She had thought of giving her so much pain. But now she realized her one rash decision would have put her loved ones in a whole lot of pain. She broke down and cried her heart out. The pain the guilt came out as tears as she knelt in the hallway and cried.

Meera came forwards and hugged her. She felt horrible for her. Meera knew Geet was really pure at heart and soft and fragile by nature. Seeing her so broken pained her. She cradled her closer to her as Geet cried her pain and misery out.

See you tomorrow Dr. Dhruv. Geet wished the man as she exited the Doctors cabin after her session. She felt a bit better. A new confidence rose in her making her determined to fight this feeling. She knew her bother and bhabhi will help her through this ordeal. She knew she had to do this for him... for her Maan. He deserved much better that a broken wife. He deserved much better and she vowed to be that better person. She smiled at that thought.

Bhabhi. Dev called surprised to see her walk out of the room with a smile.

Mr. Kurrana. The nurse called. Dev turned around to face the voice.

The cheery nurse handed him the report.

Congratulation sir for your wife. She smiled. You have a healthy child in there. She smiled again looking at Geet. But both of them dint see this. They were too happy and moved out of the hospital as they couldn't wait to show Meera her ultra sound results.

Samira's mother stood stunned at this. What is happening? she thought as she saw Dev exit with Geet. This cannot happen she told herself. She will not let this happen. She thought determined. She also left the hospital. She dug into her bag to retrieve an envelope. This one had come in today morning. She had been shocked to see pictures of Geet in Dev's arm. She couldn't believe this. But what she had seen here was more than enough. Her daughter Sam was pregnant and she would not let Dev cheat on her. She felt disgusted thinking her son in law was involved with his own bhabhi. She would put an end to all this and she knew just the person to contact for this. She would show the proof and everything to him. She took out her phone and called.

Hello may I speak to Mr Maan Singh Kurrana?...
