After turning lyricist with a song for the No Entry sequel, Salman Khan is expanding his musical portfolio.

The actor has sung a romantic duet with Shreya Ghoshal in Sajid Nadiadwala's directorial debut, Kick. The number, Hangover, has been composed by the trio Meet Brothers Anjjan who recently delivered the peppy hit, Baby Doll. Hangover was shot at Mehboob Studio over the past two days.

Revealed a source: "Salman insisted on singing it himself. This is the first time he's sung a romantic duet. He impressed everybody, including Shreya.The song which was always part of the script is sure to make the girls swoon."

Composer Manmeet confirmed the news. "There's a fantastic singer hidden in Salman. We were bowled over by his voice control. He's sung in bits and parts before but this, we feel, is his real debut as a playback singer.

Releasing on EID 2014, a look at the official poster of the film Kick starring Bollywood megastar Salman Khan. Salman Khan's character is referred to as The Devil in the film and his new look includes him sporting a french-beard in the film.

This year, Eid will be a memorable festival for all movie lovers as Salman Khan's Kick will be served up. The trailer of the film has already created a buzz and Khan's fans are already crazy about the film. Yesterday, the first song Jumme Ki Raat was launched, once again in the midst of the actors' fans.

The trailer promises action and masala but for Khan's fans, there even more. A source close to the film says, "Salman has done a rap song in the film and it's calledHangover. Shreya Ghosal has sung the female version and the song, composed by Meet Brothers. Currently, Khan is shooting the song at Mehboob Studios."

PS: Earlier, Himesh Reshammiya was the only composer on the album but now the makers are scouting for a guest composer. Asked to comment on the development during the launch of the first song, Salman remarked wittily, "We are still composing the songs. Jo abhi garam garam bana hai woh aapke saamne pesh hai."

I doubt he's any good, I heard him sing couple of times on those reality shows when he was promoting his movie...But I'm sure they will auto tune it to make it sound decent

He has sang Chandi ke daal pe song earlier... it won't matter how good he sings as he is not singer basically, but it will add personal touch to this song which will be instant hit coz he has sang it... Also i think it won't harm the track record for whole album, even if it turns up 2 bad, rest of the album will rock.
