next day Rehearsal hall- swayams doing something with the system and rey walked in saying hi Swayam looked, he seemed fine
"tu teek hain?"
"yup perfect, kyun mujhe kya hona tha? itna excitement kabhi kisi competition se pehle nahin hua tha haina? "
swayam nodded completely agreeing " haan yaar aur nervousness bhi..but wo nahin, maine socha ki taani performance dekhne nahin aa rahin hain tho tum shayad...u know ..upset hoge"
"umm..actually tha...but ab nahin hoon" swayam looked questioningly in surprise,rey put his hand around swayams shoulders and said like he had no care in the world, bindass rey style," kya haina, we have a bad habit, matlab me and taani- hum dono hi sirf mere baare mein sochthe hain...i mean sochthe the..but ab hum yeh habit badalne waale hain..u know hum ab taani ke baare mein sochne waale hain" swayam looked at him like he was talking nonsense
"i hope atleast tumhe pata hoga ki tum bol kya rahe ho...meri tho kuch samaj nahin..."
"no no swayam, for once i know" he laughed at swayams confused expression," taani has her presenatation ..so shes not coming. Simple... aur wo nahin aayegi tho kya hua? Main tho jaasaktha hoon na"
swayam stared at him before he could ask again rey cntinued ,"she cant come swayam, i know warna wo zaroor aathi , not just for me hum sab ke liye..gussa tho..." he laughed,"...aaya tha, fight bhi hua, but then ..im ok now ..in fact im happy ki wo apne project par concentrate karegi not come and go and spoil her focus on her presentation " swayam smiled at him happily ," not on me"
rey "pata hain maine uskeliye aaj tak jo bhi kiya haina swayam sirf apne comfort ke liye kiya hain, whether break up ya patch up , not anymore... " his tone varying from happy cheerful to serious to happy again," so my plan is ki after our dance, i can go to see her in time for her presentation..."
Swayams happy surprised expression changed to more happy surpised expression ---i never thought of it.. uska bhi imp din hain! rey catching his look, grinned at him.

" Sui ? Needle? ...taani ko needle se darr laggtha hain? " swayam nodded, rey remembered the tattoo and looked beyond swayam ...he smiled more happily when he heard swayam continue

Rey s face fell , kyun saari team ko bulao but before he could say anything his mobile rang ..he received it from the guys incharge of the event ...blah blah blah
( basically some A to XYZ problems from that team and this team and all the rot. U know how the serial goes. Finally the dance day s come , taani has just managed to say one simple all the best to all of them including rey and they haven't really spoken bcoz completely occupied. Neither of them mind it but. The dance goes on well , really well. Everyones happy- the team, VP sir the outsiders who wanted to see them etc.,etc., etc., - ive no patience to write- thats for the d3 but
What s imp for us- swayam hasn't asked rey whether he s really going as theyve been busy, the day the dance performance was over, rey hurt his hand- wrist rather. And then...)

Rey moved quickly and snatched aashi s mobile, aashi surprised at his sudden action arre mera mobile do. He held it high up " message karliya ? " aashi shook her head ," good , first promise ki u wont tell taani about my wrist , tumhaare daily report mein" aashi looked embarrassed " meri marzi main kuch bhi kahoon, wo sirf aapki girl friend types nahin.."
" wo sirf tumhaari friend bhi nahin, usse important presentation karna hain kal , So dont upset her..." aashi hesitated and then nodded. Rey smiled , gave her mobile back and turning to swayam and Vicky next to him muttered ," friend kam aur spy zyaada lagthi hain kabhi kabhi" they grinned
Sharon came excitedly and started," GUYS!!!! Guess what!!!"
(ok shes basically telling them that whoever guys who were impressed have asked the team to come for some stage performances and they want to talk to the team the next day to finalise stuff)

"actually they didnt say kal but i suggested it . they wanted to talk to you but tum doctor ke paas gaye the so..why whats the problem?"

" Sharon, honestly kahoon tho i think in a way yeh achha hain. isse yeh rey ka cover nahin rahega and hum sab ko ek mauka miljaayega unse baat karna ka, aur unko humein jaane ka..." he looked at the others as well," i mean hum sab ko bhi apne hisse a kaam karne ka satisfaction hoga.." everyone kind of agreed , rey looked relieved and looked at him thankfully whensuddenly aashi came and hugged rey her arms around his chest and left him making him smile at her
"aye! Tu sach mein iski girlfriend thi kya?" bharat asked her his tone irritated and confused ...the tension broke and everyone was like kya bharat! Rey tu jaa! haan poor taani! i guess its okay! But hum yahaan kya .. swayam gave Sharon a look - its okay
Rey looked at Sharon , she still had a frown but let him give her a hug , he switched on his charming smile...his mind running thank god! Taani here i come! His already on a high after the performance mood went higher up...
"u know agar yeh meeting types nahin hota na tho hum sab chal sakthe taani se milne" aashi was telling the girls. Rey thanked the outside guys mentally for the meeting

"haan, main laptop ko kiss nahin karsaktha, waise bhi mobile ko kiss karke thak gaya hoon " he replied shutting them up and then turned swiftly , swayam was thankfully immersed in Sharon..thank god suna nahin, he turned to catch the guys grinning at him teasingly with their chemistry act ,he grinned back though blushing a bit.

Taani mobile msg- Tauji s wishing her best of luck and blessings, she looked at the rest of the wishes as well- aashi bhai, reys dad, some of the guys she had been working with, nil, Sharon, rinni...she smiled feeling better and looked at Natasha who was still wondering where he had gone off, taani making use of her preoccupation draped the stole again and went away other side. Natasha after a moment looked around for her , followed her .

she smiled , .he really was here...for her ..it took her a second to understand - he was here for her presentation, that he had inspite of his disappointment come to see her , that he really cared , not just for his girlfriend but also herself-- she hadnt expected it at all..inspite of all the cheerfulness that she apparently had been showing , she had been lonely..her eyes blurred ..
Catching all her feelings , Rey s eyes blurred as well and he moved towards her when...REY! Natasha gave him a hug saying," i knew i saw you, i wasn't dreaming" and leaving him," now take that stupid stole off"
