@Bhavi: 😆 Rudra was reactionless because he never expected Paro to kiss him. LOL !
Until now she has never expressed any romantic gesture to him that is why bechara is shocked! 😆
Aage his line is clear so we can expect him to behave as he does. 😉

@Sagi, Lovely story... I never heard it before... Perfect for Rudra and Paro... I get why you said Potato for Mala... I think she was never hard in the first place... But her getting softer and softer... ya, I get your point. Thank You, for sharing such a nice story 😃. And yes, Paro is thinking only about Rudra right now.. She is trying to heal him and wants his parents help her with it. I don't think she is expecting Dilsher and Mala to reconcile. I really hope not... That will complicate the current track.. Hope CV's take one step at a time😆

@JJ
, even I am sure Laila is not done... CV's showing Rudra snapping at her again and again is not for nothing... There are building up Laila's hurt and hate so that she strikes back with a 'Bang'. I love RR for its Villains too... They don't suddenly turn into evil with out any reason like in many other Teles.. Every evil character have their own back story to support them. 😊

@T, Thank you for being a sweet heart. 🤗 Your Acrostic's ROCKED. And how in the name of god do you manage to reply to everyone... I hardly remember who wrote what after reading few posts.👏

@Himu, Thank You for loving my posts... Love the way you keep the forum active 👍🏼... Sadia Ji's acting is still a bit off. I agree. I think it is due to the complex situation that Mala is in right now and also may be that CV's don't want more reactions from Mala till her story is out, to create the suspense quotient.

@Arch21, Welcome to the thread.I loved your take on Mala being married to two men and people comfortably forgetting it... I too think Sadia ji is as confused as we are regarding the character... Because how do a person in situation like Mala's respond/act????? No one knows... It is even hard to understand what Mala is feeling or thinking. May be it will get better once Mala's story comes out... Hopefully.

CV's don't want more reactions from Mala till her story is out, to create the suspense quotient...it may be true...and thanks for the reply😊

Hello.

I have always enjoyed reading Sushpective and all the interesting comments here but never posted anything. This would be my first.
I love the show, characters and the way they are being built up. Has its ups and downs but overall a good watch.
Mala has remained a mystery and doesn't touch a chord - lots to be revealed about her.
But I just have this nagging question -
Mala is Rudra's mom
Rudra has emotionally suffered all these years
Paro wants to heal him and wants to bring the family together. She tells Mala to come back but this time for good.
... A family she left long back for reasons still not fully clear.
Doubt points towards a bad marriage.
But But... wasn't she married to Handsome Tej all this while (whether she left for him or found him after she left is irrespective). She was publicly Thakurain Masa...married to Thakur.
Now she is being asked to get back to 'family' for good ... and she got in the jeep...
Yes, Thakur turned out to be a bad man. But if he wasn't .. would this be such an easy switch?
Suddenly he is not family anymore !! Do bad men not have families?
If you look at it; it does seem like Mala left 15 years back because her then husband was not a good husband. Big difference being he was only bad to her.. not killing or selling people !
But fact still remains... she walked out of one marriage (don't know if divorced or not ! Doesn't look like).
Has been married to another for 15 years. Definitely not divorced.
Now back to the first marriage and family.
(I am not referring to the son's feelings here because I am still trying to grapple with this open acceptance of a family member ignoring completely her second 'marriage'... Yes, they referred to going away with someone and living comfortably all this while when the first husband & son kept running...
But is she still married to 2 people? Or this is a question not to be asked?
But this is not really a Hollywood TV series and neither a Balaji show so I wonder...
Maybe this is the reason Sadiya is not able to get the appropriate expressions as she is unable to feel her own character.. mom-son equation definitely.. no questions here... But what is she as a person..Maybe Sadiya is confused about Mala too.
She was not confused about Thakurain and her acting was perfect there but here... its deep blue sea!! Don't know why she is coming or .Running !!

It is not that she left for Tejawat that is unacceptable, it is that she thinks she can come back or is that what they want to show us. Marriages fall apart all the time I think we can sympathize with that and the audience is mature enough to understand that we don't live in the middle ages but what is difficult to understand that after some 15 odd years can you just reset and go back. Whatever the reasons that made her leave Dilsher don't they still exist, we have not forgotten the only reason she is back is because she has nowhere else to go so what does that say about her and resolution of the choices she makes. If Mala thinks she can have a second chance with Dilsher then why didn't she give this chance to her marriage 15 years ago, what is different is that she is realized Tejawat is a lot worst than Dilsher. A mother can be a mother even if she is not a wife. I personally would like to see a storyline where Mala choses to be on her own and tells Rudra she will be his mother always and he can come see her when he wants but I cannot live with you and that is the new reality that Rudra needs to come to terms with so does Paro. Paro thinks everyone needs to live together to be a family no it is not and it is her simple mindedness that I think most are frustrated with.

I don't know what the writers intend to do regarding her and Dilsher it is just odd seeing under the same roof with Dilsher, like Rudra said it is his father's home, can she live there if she is not his wife can she go back to being his wife after what she had with Tejawat. Right now it is all looking a little too Bold and the beautiful like. Dilsher and Mala reconciliation is OK we are not prudes but it has to be presented appropriately, otherwise Mala just comes off as husband hopping, leave one marry another and then leave the other come back to the former, does marriage vows not have any integrity.

About Sadia's acting. You should have seen her in sasural genda phool, there she was a rape victim. She was wonderful there the scene where she wants to abort her baby and she is screaming in pain so heart breaking. Because of that tragedy she never could show love to her son born from her rape, it was cruel for her son to see her so distant, but I really felt for her and when she was rude with him you felt sorry for her because she emoted beautifully her pain of not being able to care for her son the way she wants to. Mala doesn't carry the same sympathy because I feel no love from her for Rudra only self pity for herself.

Dear @Loveanime and @ARCH,

Thanks for sharing your views on Sushpectives!
At one point I had thought that Dilshers character will be killed before they will bring Mala back to the haveli...obviously that wasn't true...but the point is ...I saw this reconciliation impossible as long as Teju was alive...

Relationships don't work like that...you walk out on one, be with another for 15 years and you simply walk back ...Even though I now realize...that this show...has many of those...Mala Teju and DS being a prime example...but then there is also Laila and Rudy ...where no further explanation was deemed necessary than simple...he was never in love with her...it was a no commitment relationship...like Seriously? Is that how things work? Now Mohini is trying to pretend that Maithali and Samarat relationship doesn't exist either...when she tries to find another girl...for him...

I am digressing...
The point is ...I believe ...Mala has come back only for Rudy and the relationship that matters to her ...is the one with Rudy ...I see no desire in her to reconcile with DS...whatever Paro may think...or compromise Mala may strike...to be there for Rudy...the relationship between Mala Teju and DS is too tangled...and is not going to be resolved just like this ...because Mala is choosing to live a that house ...I think there is more to that story that is yet to unfold...if, they deal with it too simplistically...with a view of the world that they are one big happy family now...without these questions being resolved...that would be unreal...

Hello Loveanime...

I so agree with you. Do hope they show her wanting to live on her own but always be with Rudy as a mother and not vanish... This Bold and Beautiful but so quiet Mala is not making any sense...

I did not see the other show you mentioned but sounds like she gad more to do there... Hope they clear Mala's character so even Sadiya gets out of her confusion and gets to show some good acting...

The writer's should really handle this better...

Hello Sush,

Their managing of relationships has not been the greatest...

Rudra - Laila - I just feel this goes down better with the Trp audience because they might not want to fully acknowledge (although I don't fully believe the audience is Ostriches but...) that the ML was in a physical relationship with another. Then they turned Laila negative... Easy way out for everyone to simply hate her...
But she is woman too !!

In the 8 years, she didn't harm Rudra. Was there for him. Now that she has turned evilly jealous, Rudra has taken Paro's side and cast Laila aside but there is a past here filled with support. If they wanted to touch on a bold topic then they should have been bold enough to handle it maturely.

Mala -DS - Tej - I am more surprised here as these are the couples a generation before Rudra - Paro... The audience will be ready to offer sympathies to a mother once they reveal Mala's logical back story but felt they forgot her life complexity and only focused on getting her in the house and resolving son - mom issues...
Again, she is a woman too... !!

The Mala angle has been the core of the angst in this story and if they had brought out everyone's turmoil with their past and present situations, it would have made things more real.
Really hope there is more to this story...

I just remember during some earlier episodes, members on IF would say that they show many emotions in Rudra but not in Paro.. She has gone through so much but they don't show what she is really feeling. Therefore, cannot fully connect with her...
I guess same is happening with everyone closely connected with Rudra... Focus on bringing out Rudra's emotions, moods, angst and not sure what the other character might be feeling...
So Laila is simply negative - out of Rudra's life !
And Mala is simply brought back... In Rudra's life !

This all seems like a story from Rudra POV... What he knows, we know. What he doesn't know (or doesn't want to), we are clueless...

Sush, I had been meaning to post on this thread, just couldn't get to it earlier.

I read a few posts here about Laila. Have been thinking about her since Mala's return and how badly she has been treated. But never got to writing my thoughts.

She is an outsider for everyone else, but Rudra. I really felt bad for her when he walked out on her in his office. She has done many unpardonable things, but Rudra needs to talk to her and give her some closure.

However, I do not blame Paro for ignoring Laila totally. But I agree, she could have thanked her for bringing back Mala, like she did the first time.

I am wondering if the CVs aqre doing this as a build up towards Laila teaming up with Tejawat?
Right now, she is one mad scorned isolated woman.
It would be interesting viewing to see what she does to get back at Paro. Could that be the upcoming track?
I dont think she holds any grudges against Rudra because she is obsessed with him.

I really hope they give the Laila track a second chance and handle it with more maturity.
Would love to see the raw emotions of the trio play out...but not too hopeful
I am still not particularly impressed with the actress, but hopefully a more mature handling of the track will bring out the best in her.
