Optimism Definition

a disposition or tendency to look on the more favorable side ofevents or conditions and to expect the

most favorable outcome.

the belief that good ultimately predominates over evil in theworld.

the belief that goodness pervades reality.

the doctrine that the existing world is the best of all possible worlds.

The most beautiful quality of Paro is optimism...the ability to let go of the bad and believe that the good will prevail...

On the same token...I am letting go of the misgivings from yesterday's episode and choosing to see the good ...

The good there is, because of Paros ability to look at Mala as a person who can deserve acceptance...a loving mother...

The good there is, because Rudy has overcome his hate in the past (at least in her case) and knows how to love...

The good there is, because there are people like Danveer and Dilsher and Maithli who believe in family bonds...

The good there is because despite all their difference Mala and Mohini decided to stay together...even if the situation is far from perfect...

The good there is because despite the tension in the family...Paro can laugh and can make people laugh...

The good there is because despite Rudy's anger and their fights...they LOVE each other...

And that every good deed...needs recognition...😉 Glad Paro recognized major sa's efforts, and the extent he will go to ...to see her happy (the only officially stated reason)!

She has only told you a thousand times that she loves you!

She has been responding to your advances...

She smiles and gives you those googly eyes...

She is MARRIED to you...and

IT WAS ONLY A PECK on the cheek...

Seriously man...sometimes you make me think the Aath saal Har Raat was a boast...with no meat behind it...😆 This kiss was so kosher...a man of your experience should have been amused not amazed...!

I guess...we will just have to wait for your next move...to see the real Rudy...

Ok...I liked the scene between Mala and Rudy...

He is not ready to show that he is willing to accept her...

No explanation will suffice...

He has been wronged...period...

Nothing can absolve Mala of her crime...

BUT

When he sees Mala jumping through hoops to get acceptance from Mohini who has as many grudges against her as Rudy...will he be able to enjoy that? Or will he move to the other side...and actually start hating the desire to punish Mala...?

Hi Sush- I liked your definition of Optimism and how you have related it to Paro and how this can change Major and work for Mala.😛

Hi Shwetha- Great collages.👏

It was a nice episode and these are some of my thoughts.

1) Mala- Major- Major blasts off by saying to Mala that he doesn't want to know anything if she wanted to take him with her or how much she has sacrificed. Paro reminds him of manners and he does say sorry. I like what Mala said that "If he doesn't want to listen her story, she doesn't have any expectations, whatever happened was her mistake and she will wait to tell her side of the story. At least, Mala is not rushing him to hear her side of the story.😊 He also opens the door when she is struggling to get out of the jeep and most importantly, he said that he has done all this for Paro. Way to go, Major.

2) Danveer- Dilsher- Danveer is comforting Dilsher and boy, Dilsher looked worried. Not only that, his face lights up when he sees Mala enter the house. Dilsher didn't have to say much but his single expression said it all. Danveer was very hospitable to Mala and told KCM that she left because she didn't want you to leave the house.

3) KCM- Mala- KCM got the shock of her life and started her dialogue but the one which really struck me was her Gai dialogue. Really, woman? And then calling herself a caretaker of the Haweli whereas she is occupying the chunk of the Haweli and is the mistress of the mansion. Mala has no choice but to fall down at her feet, and KCM did accept her only with the condition that Mala will take care of her hubby, son and Beedni.😊 Is that possible when they share the kitchen and have food together at the dining table?

4) Danveer-Dilsher- Paro- Paro Bai Sa is always positive and tells Danveer and Dilsher that Mala has come back, KCM agreed to say and everything will be alright. Bholenath ka Ishaara hai that this family will be together. She further says that "I will link the family together, we will live happily together, this is my promise to you".😛 Now, if Paro Bai Sa promises then she is going to make sure that she is going to fulfill it.

5) Then of course our Parud moments come up.

Awesome moment- Paro Bai Sa smiling and bringing the tray and Major picking up the cup, and then Major looks at Paro as to why she is she still standing here? He said "I don't drink two cups of tea"😛

Super-duper moment- Paro Bai Sa and takes the cup back from Major and says "Shukriya" Major says that this is not necessary and Paro Bai Sa gives the tray to Major which surprises him and he says"What are you doing?"😛

Super- Excellent moment- Paro Bai Sa closes Major's mouth and looks both ways, leans up, goes close to his shoulders and says "Shukriya Major Saab" and kisses Major on the cheek.😉 Way to go Bai Sa.😛

Breathtaking moment- Major's eyes light up but Paro Bai Sa is still kissing him and then comes down, eyes still close. She finally opens her eyes and looks at Major who is shocked.😛 What a moment that was.

Jaw-Dropping moment- Major's jaws actually drop this time and he is in a trance for a long time. Paro Bai Sa is trying to take the tray from him but he is lost.😛His expressions are bang on. Oh, wait a minute. Major feels his cheek.😉

Mala- Paro- Paro wants to make Mala feel at home and insists on Mala staying in their room which was magnanimous on her part. When she gave the kasam, Mala said that are you the bahu or saas? I loved what Paro said, "I am like this, and you can't do anything, Maine aapke bete ko phasa liya hai". Bai Sa, you are right, Major is lattu over you. Paro tells Mala to keep on laughing and she does get a second chance to live. Not very many people, but Mala is lucky to get a second chance at life.😛

Major- Paro- This one didn't go well for Major when she teased him about medicine for his anger. Major says that do you think that I will understand jokes at this moment when I have to live my life under the same roof as Mala. Paro Bai Sa reminded him that she was a culprit to him and he was a killer to her but how much things have changed, give an opportunity to Maasa.😛

Maithili- Paro- Maithili knows something is wrong and when Paro tells her about the fight, and how love increases with the fight. Maithili said if you fight sometimes and then she said that Parud behave like kids and she feels like leaving them in a jungle.
Maithili Bai Sa- I am with you on this one. Please send Parud to a jungle where they can actually spend time with each other. Jangal me Mangal.😛

She also asked about the Mangalsutra and Paro says that Major has yet to give it to her. Paro Bai Sa touches her red thread and says that it has a lot of memories but mangalsutra is mangalsutra. Thanks Maithili Bai Sa for reminding about the Mangalsutra and thanks Major for listening to the ladies conversation.😛

Since today's episode was about the kissing, I thought "Kiss" would be a good acrostic for today.
K- Killer (How Paro Bai Sa hands Major the tray and closes his mouth)😉
I- Intimate (Loved how Paro leaned up to his cheek and also said Shukriya)😉
S- Sensuous (Loved how Paro Bai Sa kissed Major and it was for a long time)😛
S- Swayed (Major got stumped by Paro Bai Sa's kiss and that left him in a trance)😛

Thanks CVs for giving us the special Parud moment.😛 Fab acting by the leads and the dialogues were very good today.

Lovely main post..

Paro's optimism is the only ray of sunshine in Rudra's life. In my opinion, everyone will be happier and stronger if they overcome the past together as a family. About the kiss.. Rudra's reaction to it was totally unexpected 😲 but him being a little shy was kinda cute. Now I'm just waiting to see him gift Paro the mangalsutra.

Sush, beautifully written about optimism. Paro is a true optimist. And I love her for that... And perfectly said, every good deed needs to be recognized... Haha, nicely said for Rudra.😃

I loved the episode... The way Rudra shut off Mala, shows that he is still not ready to listen to her... He still needs some time. And I am glad that Mala understood it and nicely said that she will wait... At last she started speaking... Even in the haveli, it was Mala who convinced Mohini about her stay in the haveli... Neither Dilsher or Paro had to become her advocates ... She did it on her own (Even though I didn't like her falling at Mohini's feet) I liked her speaking up for herself 👍🏼. Good, Now Paro can concentrate on her Major Saab 😛.

I loved the Kiss scene... Right from Paro walking to Rudra with tea to her walking away from him... Paro knew that it was not easy for Rudra to do what he did... And when he said he did it for her... Her happiness had no bounds... We can see it from the glow on her face. She questions him... Not that she didn't believe in him, but she was just taking in that he really did do it for her... Then, she thanks him in her own way.. And the kiss was just that... her gratitude. Her thank you... Her happiness for his actions... Her appreciating his effort.

The look of disbelief on Rudra's face... Hilarious 😆. He was too stunned to react... Seriously, Rudra boy???☺️ The shock, disbelief, the confusion everything was right there, crystal clear, on his face. As if he was trying to comprehend if it was for real or just a dream. Asking himself, "Did Paro just..." Loved how she looks around before she goes for the Goal... And the way she closes her eyes, blushing. The tug of war with the tray that followed was Awesome.. All the while, he keeps looking at Paro, as if questioning her if she really did do, what he thought she did? He was still not able to get himself to believe that it happened😳... Then he touches his cheeks soo tenderly. Finally realizing that,' Yup, his Paro indeed kissed him'...

The Kiss was pure, full of love and gratitude... Just like Paro's feelings.. And Rudra for the first time felt love and not pleasure from the intimacy. No wonder he felt dazed😉... And got to admit... I was expecting Paro to run away out of Shyness but she managed to take the tray and look at him...Bravo Baisa. You are amazing. Creatives did a good job..👏

Then comes the Awkwardness.. These two looked so out of place when they come face to face later. Rudra doesn't know how to react or respond to Paro's action... So, he tries to avoid everything that happened completely and walk away.. Acting as casual as possible... But sensing the tension.. Paro tries to lighten the mood between them by cracking a joke... But it had all the opposite effect on her Major Saab and he looses it, snapping at Paro as always... I liked how she gently tells him that he is getting late, cutting the conversation... Because she knew it would lead to nothing but more arguments 😊.

So, our Major eaves dropped on the ladies... Now we know why he suddenly gets the urge to give Paro the Mangalsutra that he is carrying around 😳. I think the whole stress on his Gussa today is to pave way for the romance that is in store for us tomorrow or the day after (Hopefully not next week 😉)

The bonding between Mala and Paro was nicely shown. Hope Mala starts fighting her battles now. She should stop taking Paro or anyone else help. Maithili was so sweet... She is always there for Paro... And I love how Paro shares everything with Maithili... Truly god made sisters.

Sanaya, Ashish... You both were Awesome..Perfect expressions.👏👏

Here goes my analysis, better late than never 😊

Finally his mother speaks up and says she will wait - just like he waited for 15 years! Hopefully its not that long a wait Thakurainsa!!

yesterday Paro was in multi-avatars - she was mother,nanny, disciplinarian, caretaker, peacemaker, the lover, the joker, the wife and child too!! Wow, so many facets in one episode!

Yesterday, not only the forum but I guess even the cameraman and DP are in love with way Major saab stalks in uniform, err. I meant walks in uniform. We have so many shots of him walks away. Looks like someone else is smitten over the Lion king's ishtyle in uniform!!!

Like I said before I dont know if the PH deals with symbolism but I liked the fact that Paro tried to take a backseat between the mother-son duo. He opened the door of the jeep for the mom first then Paro, but does not move away even though he is upset. He waits until she is moves!! So I think he will support and help his mom in need but it may take more time to forgive??

I found it odd when Paro injected a false note saying that everything is back to normal. But then camera zoomed to the elder's face- there was despair and sense of futility - both brothers wondering will their family ever be complete? Her complete confidence in God and promising that she will do her best to get everyone to become one family brought solace to the old warriors!! Bravo

Less said about the kiss the better- I think we have dissected it enough. yesterday while watching the episode on YT, the other episode that was recommended was the April 16th one. I dont know why, but clicked and watched that episode again. There is an exchange between Parud about flower and him being a thorn. When she explains the importance of thorn, he is flummoxed. Where in she says he is vital for her survival. I found the same expression on Rudra yesterday. The person who shies away from physical intimacy initiated a kiss - till now she has only held his hand or hugged him that too when he is in pain. She initiated a kiss as a thank you and the look on her face, closed eyes and tiny smile. Of course the man is floored. Its the touch of love, soul-stirring because he felt the wave of her love in that one moment. So he does what he does best - breath fire! But he forgets that princess knows how her dragon's fire is just hot air! She is no longer affected by it 😆😆😆

he is like a child holding onto the comfort of the old blanket (sense of anger and betrayal towards his mom) and she is the gale which is forcing him to loosen the hold over his security. What would he do once the cobwebs are cleared - will he be the same person he was before the revelation?

The equations would change for him ? The quandry of standing at the edge of the cliff - will the jump help you soar or fall all the way down to hell again??

Sometimes the only thing people see is what you did. When in fact, they should be looking at why you did it!
