What I don't understand is everyone overlooking that Mala married Tejawat. Stayed with him, slept with him, loved him, and comforted him as a wife and Premika. I'm guessing for 15 years which was longer than the time she spent with Dilsher.

Why is everyone calling her Bhabhi, Jetani, Dilsher's wife? The only one keeping Mala in her place is Paro by calling her Thakrain Masa. Irony, as Paro is trying to give Mala her place again in Dilsher's haveli.

So, is Mala coming back in the Haveli as Dilsher's wife? Then wouldn't Dilsher have to remarry her? Unless the time she spent with Thakur wasn't legit. Didn't she go the Mandir and do Puja and whatnot with Thakur as her husband?

What happens to Mohini? I guess I grew a soft spot for Mohini for whatever reason. Maybe because I find Mala to be that much worse.

Interesting..

From what I understand, she probably never got around to divorcing Dilsher. What with her running from home and him running from C'garh.. So legally she still is Dilsher's wife. And the 15 years with Teju would by ddefinition be adultery. In a setting like Birpur nobody questions Teju's murders, who will dare question his marriage or the legality of that!

For that matter even Parud marriage is it legally/officially accepted? Think not!

Hmm...so then doesn't Laila have more claim on Rudra then does Paro. And if Mala was going to live with her Premi as an adultress, why was she trying to take Rudra along with her?
